1. Man, people in the comments really hating on Kmet. Like he's really a cut candidate? Really? Is that what we are doing now? You don't have 1000 yards receiving and BYE SON. YOU ARE CUT. Like there are so many good players out there wanting to play for the Bears that we can just get.

3. You know, Braggs's personal character arc growth is a welcome thing.

4. Carm is wrong about Brisker. The Bears will absolutely keep him through 2025. If he has a good, healthy year they would consider resigning him, taking into account his health history.

6. Don't confuse whether Cole Kmet is a good guy with whether his on field production is worth his contract. He's probably slightly over paid, but not terribly. Same could be said for Montez Sweat. It doesn't make any financial sense to cut either player before this season.

7. The "cut" Cole Kmet chatter is absolutely ridiculous to me. Bears have no business entertaining that nonsense, dude is a fantastic teammate, culture guy, plays every game, big red zone target and has really good hands.

    You need a build your base up with $1 million-$3 million contracts per year. Braggs is dead on naming those guys

12. I really don't think we should cut Kmet!! I think with having Ben Johnson calling plays Kmet will take a huge step this year!!!

13. the roste is actually pretty great. Coaching matters. We've had possibly the worst coaching staff in all of sports for the past 3 years. We really have no idea how good the bulk of this existing roster could be with competent, or even great coaching.

16. you don't cut cole you let your offensive coach use him to his abilities. Most fans complained all year about how the Bears didn't use him now you wanna cut him before you actually see how good he can be with the right coach.

18. You can't replace 15 positions , Walker is a good player, Brisker is already here, you have to let that play out

19. You guys do realize we NEED 2 GUARDS? Why not pay Tevin and another good Guard instead of just one with Trey Smith?
    Tevin has been our best OL since he’s been here. His injury history means nothing going forward other than the contract. He can be healthy the next 3 years and Trey Smith can be injury riddled. We need 4 OL. 3 at the very least if we stay put at LT.
    Say we get Trey, we still have 2-3 holes. Tevin is our way to make it work by being smart about it.

21. Sam lost all his credibility with me when he gave his Super Bowl take. Eagles offense made plays all game converting 3rd and 4th downs. Defense won them the game but to say anyone could’ve beat the chiefs with the defense playing that good is insane

22. Bring back Deiter Eiselen. He was the best OL we had when he actually played. Even in his worst game, he was the best we had.

24. Cole was horribly slow off the snap in previous years. This year, he was great! He was arguably as fast as our WRs the first 10yds.
    He still needs to work on his blocking. He’s bigger and stronger than a lot of the Nickels he’s blocking and if Cole would just understand leverage and angles then he’d be great. He doesn’t need to have 1,000yds, but be a weapon and I’ll be happy. Too many stupid penalties.

Brisker needs to be CUT he’s done he’s had concussion issues in college he’s holding up an roster spot Da Bears need to stop with this moralism crap they told the RB that he could come back this after ripping up his knee he’s not good cut him to let Brisker become someone else problem you tackle with your shoulders not with your head Brisker hasn’t been taught that it’s over for him

27. Talking about how Kmet gets to your show 30 minutes early has zero to do with his performance. He’s a regular on your show so you have to say nice things. If there’s a way to save $$$, I’d absolutely consider getting rid of him.
