When Wenceel was healthy he seemed to have more clutch hits than anyone else? I'd prefer him over Jhen based on last season. Spring will tell.
I'm investing in Hao-Yu Lee, Wenceel Perez, and Ty Madden.
If Torkelson is a better defender at 3rd than Jung, then why shouldn't he be getting split time at the hot corner as well. Between dh, 1st, and 3rd, that should give Spencer the at-bats he needs to justify not being sent down to Toledo.
There is literally no doubt in my mind that Spencer Torkelson will be the starting first basemen opening day.
They were damn lucky not to sign Bregman! He's a fine player but no where close to value at that price point. Bregman in Comerica will hit what? ,285? with maybe 20 Hr?
Last yr Veirling hit what .260 with 16hr? So for a difference of .015 and 4 HR + a little better defense your gonna pay an extra 17 million a yr? That's ludicrous!
Cody so basically Tork is your RH Rusty Staub without the attributes or the numbers
