Ron and Martys was the most depressing era of Skins football for me personally. At least our previous failures usually had some personality to them, Ron and Martys were just boring and bad at their jobs
I remember when they hired him Carolina fans, were like “He’s great in the first round and terrible the others”
Makes me think their draft strategy was for Ron to lead Round 1 and Marty to lead Rounds 2-7
I’d trust Scot McCloughan when he’s off the wagon more than those two
The wildest part is that with Dan gone, Ron and associates got to leave without being thrown under the bus with nasty personal rumors being spread to make them seem like shitty human beings.
That’s quite the positive change.
Hopefully Mayhew follows him out the door.
Good riddance is right. Snyder is gone and Harris is here to stay. It’s so incredible how much an owner makes a difference. Under the Snyder era you knew things would go to hell regardless of the coaches or players on the field. It was like a curse almost. But we survived and now we are back!
