Poor kid…
His wife is from Chesterton, Indiana. Probably wanted to play in Chicago for a year.
Legend
I wish Roki said the same
Let that be known. We’re a destination*
^(*for 39+ year olds*)
So are we getting him??
I’m convinced it’s because of the Italian Beef.
Were the more lucrative offers in the MLB? Or Korea?
Because the cubs have an open starting spot. Vs other teams where he would 100% be a bench guy
Let’s hope we only see him sporadically as a DH and not a 3B for extended time.
A nice bit of news to read for once.
No pressure to win, cool summer city, and Wrigley. Checks out.
I love the signing, even if it’s for vibes and clubhouse presence. $6M is cheap and we’re still like $25ish M from the next tax level, right? (Would still love a certain Dads pitcher or two)
