I’m sorry but this whole manufactered drama about who gets to “claim” him is so fucking stupid.
That’s just what’s Denver Broncos fans will tell you.
I doubt he hates us.
Why would Peyton Manning hate the Colts?
He doesn’t hate the Colts and he doesn’t hate Indy. He still has his private bunker at St Elmo, he still regularly comes and visits his children’s hospital. He is here for all the ring of honor ceremonies for teammates. I’m sure it did sting when he was let go, why wouldn’t it? He might still harbor ill will for Irsay, but that’s speculation.
Yes he stayed in Denver but that’s also where he was when his kids were in school. Why uproot them. Yes he opened businesses there. Why wouldn’t he? He retired in that city and stayed there. It’s a lot easier to oversee a business where you live rather than one several states away.
This whole debate is just created by sources like ESPN to drum up “news” on a slow day. Manning doesn’t hate Indy or the Colts. Relax people it’s all manufactured drama.
That’s a dope shirt he’s holding. Anyone know where I can get it?
My parents and I got tickets to see this. I’m so excited. I was too young to care or understand football during that era. I’m excited to hear them talk about it, the only recounts I’ve heard are from my parents.
Peyton over here wearing a child size hoodie 😂 Love that man, growing up in Indy in the 2000’s was the greatest.
The whole claim debate is stupid. Like asking who gets to claim Tom Brady, patriots or buccaneers
I appreciated every snap I saw this man take. I love how he redefined the QB role in Indy. It was amazing to witness. I don’t need to “claim” him. It doesn’t change the joy he brought me. I’m happy he got to win another Super Bowl. I’m saddened to think he may not love Indy as much as we love him. But that doesn’t change what he did for us all those great years. I just want him to know that Indy couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishments and what he brings to our city.
Irsay did him completely wrong I wouldn’t blame him for hating the colts
He doesn’t hate the colts. Now the relationship with Irsay might be different. Everyone worried about where he lives but Denver is a nice plaice to live. Can’t blame him for picking there over living in Indianapolis. He went to two SBs here and two in Denver wining one at each stop. He had a lot of fun in Denver and has teammates he loves just like here.
Pulling the suck for luck card was not a smart move for management or owner
If Irsay wanted to do something intelligent he would have kept Peyton Manning on as a mentor for Andrew luck and you probably would have seen a completely different and better football player out of Andrew
And Andrew was a rookie he needed someone to teach him how to play professional football. He never really learned how to play pro football. God only knows Irsay couldn’t teach Andrew how to play football because he doesn’t
