I’m all for extending players, but I’d prefer not to make it a goal to have them be the highest paid player at the position. We have so many holes, any extra cap space can go a long ways…. there is a reason Brady won so many super bowls… he was the best, and how many times was he the highest paid at his position?

He gets injured every year it seems, take a team friendly deal and be happy or they might as well trade him before the injuries catch up

You clearly need to learn a lot about how the salary cap works and how the ins and outs of the infrastructure of a team work. I agree he’s an awesome player. I’m not about to give him the best contract in the league when I have to pay out a lot of other players and positions that we do not have yet.

Definitely, and besides these 3, we need to keep Hobbs, Bennett, and Butler!!! I have to admit tho it’s personal to me to keep Butler!! I’m a huge fan of Adam. He’s what I call your lunch pail player, a hard ass worker. He keeps his head down and plugs away!!!
