The Astros need outfielders! We've now reached the point of absurdity that we're moving Gold Glove 2nd basemen to the outfield. (Dubon & Altuve)
Aarenado ? 😂
I want melton at right field I don’t want Chas as a everyday starter melton can also play center field with a power bat
I wouldn’t mind verdugo
I can't imagine the Cards wanting much as long as Astros take on a lot of Arenado's contract. They want to move Arenado to clear salary and make room for their young players.
Astros probably won't give much at all. No big names, at least.
Hi, Brett. Love your Podcast. Do you truly believe that Altuve will make a great LF’er? Is his arm good enough to throw all the way to home plate?
Would you? 1 year of Bregman and Tucker for 3-6 years of Arenado, Walker, Paredes, Cam Smith, and Hayden Wisnoski? Do you make that trade? I think so! And it is cheaper on an annual basis too!
Arenado is still a quality player nevermind the naysayers.
we can be a damm good team if we still get arrenado to play 3rd and altuve and alvarez can alternate between lf and dh and parades at 2nd with dubon filling in at lf,2nd and ss here and there. if our pitching can come thru i think we will win the division
This guy is a real talent. Potential Hall of Famer. He is a professional hitter. A great glove. A great veteran. If we can get him, I think he would do great at Daikin park.
They need to stop ✋ this nonsense why pay a washed out player that type of money when they could keep Tucker who is much more younger
Fake news is the news cycle this slow
I thought he said he didn't want nothing to do with the astros
Bring back lunhow
If you play fantasy baseball, you know Arenando is more productive than Paredes. I want to see what Cam Smith can do at 3B first though
Nolan Arenado Screaming in the Dugout at his Teammate is not what Anybody wants. Didn't he say The Astros are not on his Trade List. Move on and give Cam Smith a Shot. Nolan Arenado even if he comes here is 1 year rental until he is gone. No way anyone wants this character.
So you want a guy that turned down a trade because he felt the Astros weren’t committed to winning? No thanks. Or a guy whose numbers have dropped drastically in two years so bad it’s not even close? The drastic offensive decline over the last 2 years make me see Jose Abreu so no thanks.
I, uh, don't think I watch the Astros this year if they pick him up.
Tell him he needs to come to Houston to be our second Nolan to ever played for the Astros because our first Nolan was a great one that became a hall of famer and he would too if he plays for us! Also, if he comes play for the Astros he would get his first World Series title to boot!
We need another bat. Do whatever it takes to get him.
We dont need more infield help. We need outfielders
What the Astros needs to do is bring back Correa at discount. Ill move Yainer Diaz and keep Caratini as a C.
If he doesn't play outfield why we have infielder
The Abreu deal has so many fans gun shy about the potential drop off if we pick up aging guys.
Astros are getting so much money freed up next offseason with so many terrible contracts expiring. I don’t think the Astros need to be desperate this year and tie down some of that money on arenado. Save the money and buy some talent next year that fits better and isn’t potentially another abreu
