I just got a flashback…..In what was perhaps one of the most consequential missed penalty calls in postseason history, Wayne Gretzky got away with a blatant high-sticking infraction against Doug Gilmore in Game 6 of the 1993 Clarence Campbell Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs…… "THAT WAS OFFSIDE REFS" This missed call from upstairs is a problem going forward.

  4. Good win but it's disconcerting that not one of the big boys got a goal. Were they on vacation? And Bedard played a very average game. Already showing signs of frustration of being on a mediocre team.

  5. HOW CORRUPT ARE THOSE OFFICIALS?! THE LAST GOAL WAS SO INCREDIBLY OFFSIDE IT CAN'T BE ARGUED YET THESE CROOKED USELESS REFS GAVE THE GOAL. NHL (NO HONEST LINESMEN) AND I'M A LEAFS FAN.

  7. was not offside because JT did not have "possession" of the puck (puck touching the blade) when the puck passed the blueline. and willy tagged up before JT took back possession of the puck. Deeming it onside. It's confusing as hell I know. But it's a rule and has been deemed good goals in the past in other games.

  11. the offside goal should have been called off..was clearly offside..wouldnt have mattered anyways…4/2…5/2…wouldnt have made a difference for the leafs…both are 2 points…refs should be fired tho..also there was a couple penalties that should have been called that were not and thats just in the highlights. good to see robertson get 2..and mcCabe score on his old team. good job leafs back to first in atlantic..now need to only catch washington..good to see steeves holmberg domi and roberston all stepping up this weekend with leafs stars tired from 4 nations a bit still.

  12. That challenge for offsides was close, but with today's refs/officials especially in this game vs the WORST TEAM IN THE NHL BY A MILE,

    NHL Officiating has become a joke, IMO.

  18. I think leafs d was trying to protect bertuzzi s face on Chicago's s first goal. No joke watch replay 2:25. First bertuzzi gets hammered with shot than as hes trying to get back up another shots coming. Dman wraps arms around his face.

  21. Can anyone explain to me why Joe and Ralph don't travel to the away games. The Leafs are running this franchise like the Sisters of the Poor. Sounds like Joe and Ralph are in Joe's basement. Some two-bit podcast.
