In that long NFC streak, when things were decided early, which was most of the time, winners would not quit until the clock hit 00:00s. The NFC teams would pummel the inferior AFC teams until that moment and that moment only. Philly had the game and let up and pulled players. That’s all that final score indicates. That’s not saying one way is better than another in a blowout, if you wanna be nice about it once your title is guaranteed that’s fine too. That’s just the difference.
I’ve never cared much for bragging about big blowouts outs or being so upset over close game losses. You either win or you lose. Shit happens.
It results in either a 1-0 or a 0-1. (Unless you Tie, where it feels like everyone loses. There should be no ties honestly.)
Ok, I love my broncos. I was born and raised in Colorado, but that loss to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl of 2024 was pretty bad. The score was 43-8.
