Now move up in the first round to ensure you get the LSU O Lineman
All this does is free up more money for the bears. I wasn’t sold on paying 25 mil for a gaurd not Quinton Nelson in his prime. And also we saw in the super he was an utter non factor
Smith is a right guard not left Briggs, really?
Meh…plenty of rookie OTs that will make great OGs in this draft.
Go with mechi becton
New England needs o line help and they have more money so there will be bidding wars. We might have to draft 3 interior linemen and hope they are good. We could be going into the season with unknowns on the line.
After Greg Gabriel broke down how the Chiefs could sign Smith I never thought the Bears or any other team had a chance. Never go into free agency thinking the Bears can sign this player or that player. Just have to wait until free agency starts. Talking about free agents as if it's a certain a team can sign a player is as pointless as doing a mock draft.
Is the salary cap even real? How in the hell can the Chiefs afford all of these players! Lol
This puts more pressure on the pricing of other Oline free agents, not less. Now, instead of overpaying for a pro bowl guard, you will be overpaying mediocre journeymen.
Sign dalmon, zeiler, and ronnie Stanley = $45mil instead of dalmon & smith= $40mil . Give me Mack 15mil ,javon hargrave $9mil bring back allen 13mil . And lers go win a dam superbowl
Actually this means basically nothing, I believe last year Chiefs tagged a corner Sneed and then traded his rights to Titans, if my memory is right they got a third round choice in that trade. The player wanted to stay. I do not see anywhere saying the player has accepted the tag. So the question becomes, is signing Trey Smith worth a third round pick….???
I'm glad this was done so we can stop talking about yes is is very good but let's keep our draft picks, save some money for more players, sign some good free agents and grow our own trey smith
RIP camera
Its really ain't disappointment yall the one that disappointed cause i knew he wasn't coming to the bears and the chiefs wasn't finna let him walk
Mekhi Becton is our man dalman at center
can't officially tag him until they free up the cap space. I expect to hear soon that T Kelce is being released or is retiring
He was NEVER going to get to the open market.
Ridiculous to get upset over not getting a guy that the Bears never made an offer to. That's like whining about losing the lottery when you didn't even buy a ticket.
Do not re-sign Tevin Jenkins.
The problem is impatience the key to building through the draft is identifying the strengths of that draft which is dl and edge both needs get better there draft some talent at ol' mid rounds next year will be better oline draft we're not going to the Super Bowl next year we can get better up front in free agency anew scheme will help and Caleb growing and getting rid of the ball will also help
Chiefs did that on purpose in spite of the Bears… Fuck the Chiefs!
I think its a blessing in disguise. With that 25mil that would have gone to Trey Smith, You can sign 3 offensive line man. Free agency is stacked at the o-line.
Kramer has potential at Center ..
He Right SICK
