1. How many more teams have to waste there time with Justin Fields? What is the obsession? How many seasons of the same thing do we need to see? Man if you can run at all as QB the ownerships just can't control themselves can they? No matter the fact the major part of the position (passing the ball) never improves, they just keep trying season after season. He hasn't even fixed his massive ball fumbling issues either!

2. Hi DK. I've mentioned this here before, but I think it bares asking again. Arthur Smith's best running game was in Tennessee with a great back and a mobile OL that excelled in zone blocking.They were great at it either inside or outside zone concepts. They could also block a gap/power schemes to set up play action pass, but zone was the key to Derrick Henry's big play threat. This Steelers OL has struggled in zone blocking. I'm sure that's because it takes time together as a collective group to play that style. It this what Smith wants this group to be? That is not Najee's strength as a runner. Jaylen Warren has better cut back instincts, but I don't know that he is the prototype zone runner either. What does the brass want this running offense to look like?? With Fields, it seems like a lot of read option run/rpo from shotgun. Tomlin says "if you have red paint, then paint the barn red". What color do they want by choice?. It looks very disjointed to me with a noticeable lack of direction. Let's go Bucs!

3. I have a sickening feeling that we will still be talking about how there is a glaring need for wide receivers in a year from now. We've been talking about it for a year let's make it two !!

13. If I'm a owner of the Steelers….. Pickens is gone already! It's shameful how he actted on the side lines and on the field. He's partly the reason Russell Wilson got a chance to start over Fields because of his constant complaining about not getting the ball.

15. i think its funny how other QBs who didn't prove anything get paid top dollar. But Fields has to prove himself while everyone else can keep losing. Have more weapons on offense…but Fields has to prove his worth…I decree he is going to make yo all eat your words the same as Hurts, Jackson and Daniels….

16. After losing out on Samuels, if the Steelers don't sign Fields then it shows me that they are just hoping for things to turn out ok. Well I'm not ok with that. If they don't sign him, he is the best QB available in the NFL, then I'm sitting out viewing AND purchasing Steelers related items next year. I'm tired of the mediocrity!!!

20. Yes! Let's get this QB question mark out of the way this week. And, with Fields, another WR and RB, there's no reason why we can't be the Commanders of 2025 from the AFC.

21. Coach T needs to be bypassed in this decision, Khan needs to get the deal done with JF. If Tomlin drags his feet with a QB decision, and we end up with the scraps, it's gonna set us back, and JF will probably flourish.

27. Trade GP? Super smart move, just leave the offense with zero big playmakers instead of 1 actual playmaker. GP got his issues, but when thrown the ball he makes plays. He had 1 awful game last season. And was hurt for a 3 game stretch. Other wise GP would have had back to back 1,000 rec yd seasons.

28. Fields is perfect for Auther Smiths offense, Fields can run for his life better than Wilson. I hope Wilson goes to a team that appreciates him.

34. I'm going to be honest, I think everyone needs to chill about this. This is his first time ever getting to test the free agent market, and it just so happens it's a year where he's actually one of the best options available. Of course he wants to test the market. Of course he wants to see what his value is. I still have faith he's going to end up in Pittsburgh. If we end up with Russell Wilson again though I'm not suffering through another season. I won't put myself through that

35. I don't know Yeah basically everything you said in this podcast is just exactly why he should want to test the open market. Like you said it only takes one dummy to overpay him. I'm sure he would be more than happy to take a contract from that one dummy that wants to give him full market value for franchise quarterback money. I get what you're saying, obviously we should want the Steelers to lock him in before he can get to that point. But why would he do that? Why would he have any interest in taking half of what he could possibly get on the open market?

36. It seems like Fields and Arthur Smith have a good relationship, and while I don't think Fields has any particularly bad blood with Tomlin, I do think the way Tomlin handled the QB situation may encourage Fields to at least test the market.

37. Fields is out of Pittsburgh. If they wanted him and he wanted to be there this deal would’ve been done
