Trey Hendrickson trade proposals: Could Bengals ship sack leader back to Lou Anarumo?
March 7, 2025
They have us giving up a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year with projected 2 year 59ish million extension. What do y'all think?

people saying anything but a first, but wouldn’t this be a home run trade for ballards CURRENT situation. ballard doesnt have the luxury of thinking about the future any more, so you give up your first for a proven edge over drafting an unproven what ever position at 14?
Eh hopefully we wouldn’t need to give up too much (though unlikely). A third round or later would be ideal (again unlikely). I mean honestly I don’t want sell the farm for him. If we were a team that’s one piece away from being a contender then okay but we are clearly not.
There’s a long list of deficiencies on this team that need addressed even before the pass rush. Giving up a lot of draft capital and a big hit salary cap for a guy who’s going to be over 30 (and in a position that doesn’t age well) is not really building out a future for this team.
Not happening
Something about Trey that is something that we need to consider is because he was a late bloomer in his career he has 1900 less snaps then Myles Garrett despite being older. I think if you trade for him you give him more than a 2 year deal. 3 year and he is going to be above 30 million a year
That sounds about right. Id be OK with that.
I’d rather keep Dayo. I still wanna see Latu, Dayo, Paye, and Ebukam be our 4 primary ends.
He probably wants to go play for a contender. Colts aren’t even on his radar.
