Hey guys! I just came into possession of this beautiful baseball, but the person I was able to obtain it from didn't have exact details on the autographs other than "It was a contest in the 70s for a bank I worked for and won a team signed ball". I can make out a few but even looking through the roster, I am just struggling. I can make out Manny Sanguillen, Willie Stargell, Bill Mazeroski, Bob Veale, but I don't see Clemente.

If anyone could help idetify some of these autographs, that would be much appreciated! I'll update this list as people make comments and I think I can verify them.

  5. The Stargell doesn’t look right. The space afforded the second one down means they were first on the side, but I don’t know who it is and no one else got close to them. You’d think someone would have gone right below where it’s easier to sign?

  6. Alright I did the research and I’ve identified all but one autograph. I think this ball mostly ranges from 1972/73-75, with tanner coming in 1977 and he actually didn’t manage most of these players it would have been Murtaugh. Madlock and Foli came in 1979. I count 19 autographs, Tim Foli wrote scripture (Romans) under his auto. Also I don’t see Bob Veale on there and Clemente is definitely not on there. Anyways, here’s all the autographs in order by picture.
