Don’t mind me, just adding moore gas to the Moore fire

  1. Big coach sees an opportunity to mold him. Young starting LT’s never come available in free agency

  2. I like this and choose it to be truth because it fits my narrative that we’re the best, everyone else is the worst, and I make great decisions on choosing who to support.

  3. Money looks like an overpay but most FA signings are. Just have to hope he’s improving and reshuffling the line is a net gain

  4. It might be an overpay but not a massive one at least. I hope Bill had a little to say in it when they targeted him and said he could improve something to make him worth the $.

  5. Again, we’re almost certainly going to still have spare cap space the next two seasons even despite this. So if we overpaid by $5m / year it really doesn’t matter. It’s the premium you have to pay to get talent to a bad team

  6. The guy has beat out two first round tackles to keep his job. He’s started at one of the toughest positions in the nfl since being a fourth round pick. This guys resume is impressive. The stats can be shaky but he’s young and worth the gamble if you ask me

  7. It’s free agency, this stuff happens. The real “news” to me is that Latham goes to RT where he’s hopefully going to be a lot better which is great for him, his performance, his longevity, and the team’s overall performance.

Even if Moore is just OK I hope the decision to move Latham back to right tackle going to look like a really good decision one 5 to 7 years from now.
