  3. I really like the idea of Slim getting some starts because of his upside and future potential, plus given us that lefty out of the rotation. By big Al is the man too! I don’t think their springs are comparable, because cade is going out there and showing his best stuff to get a rotation spot. Big Al is working on new pitches and mixing them in with his other stuff, so of course he’s not gonna have a glowing Stat line.

  4. Povich!!! Big Al needs to start in the pen doing long relief and once he is up and running, the Os can reconsider. Slim’s looking great and we need a lefty that can pitch so badly. Povich has earned it.

  5. Rodriguez is done as far as I’m concerned… trade him away if you can, but he’s a health nightmare and we’ve got a pennant to win and a World Series to go to.

  6. I hate to say that history is about to repeat itself, but don’t the last few days remind you of ‘24 when we lost Kyle and Tyler….? It was reported there’s a “concern” with a pitcher’s elbow/shoulder and we wait until late May/early June to see if it could get better…and it doesn’t. Fingers crossed that Grayson’s situation resolves itself, but we have to be realistic that there’s a good chance it may not. Having said that, I really have to give credit to Mike Elias and his team. Morton and Sugano now appear to be excellent veteran (proven) and HEALTHY pitching (not throwing) arms that can help guide us through this year until Bradish and Wells return in late August or in early September. And, I think it’s time to let Slim prove himself in the rotation. We need a lefty in the “starting five”, and Suarez is a proven entity for the bullpen. Go O’s!!
