Jeff Teague says Bucks are EASY to guard, Giannis & Lillard TOO PREDICTABLE on offense

Jeff Teague, DJ Wells, and B Hen discuss the state of the Milwaukee Bucks as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard currently sit as the No. 4 seed in the East. Jeff says that the Bucks are a step behind the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New York Knicks because the Bucks are too easy to guard.

  1. What are yall talking about. Blaming Giannis and not blaming Dame. Pay attention to the games. Dame has had many subpar offensive nights that can’t happen. He doesn’t hit enough threes. And he hunts fouls all the time instead of actually trying to score.

  2. Man, I always like what Teague has to say. For him to say that it's too easy for the Celts is concerning for a Cavs fan. I think the ONLY way for the Cavs to win is to MAKE the game easy for themselves and not miss. They are going to have to SCORE…and they can.

  3. If they want to run the same thing every time, then why don't they just do a pick n roll with Dame & Giannis every time? They were making some progress on that 2-man game but now they've gotten away from it. Even if the other team knows its coming they can't stop it, but they don't do it anymore, wtf.

  4. why this non-player (teague) talks shit all of the time? Bucks gave his sorry ass a ring. He knows shit about guarding giannis and lillard lol, its the rest of the team which is concerning.

  5. This Celtics team is not that team they aren't some dynasty that has won the last 2 finals if they are healthy the Celtics vs Cavs goes 7 and the Celtics aren't winning game 7 in Cleveland and if Boston doesn't have porzingis or they aren't fully healthy they're cooked

  6. As a Bucks fan we all know Doc isn’t the coach for us. We need someone creative and willing to actually run plays. For the team ball movement is the issue. They just don’t move effectively. No one makes cuts to the basket which causes us to shoot unnecessary threes or turnovers.

  7. Taurean Prince blew it for Kuz 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 on God Giannis don’t wanna pass unless it’s gone get him an assist

he never moves the ball for the sake of rotating the defense and he never hits the dunker spot / throw lobs

  8. It seems to me that Jeff Teague hasn’t been watching the Cavs and Celtics series over the last three seasons. The matchup has actually been even, except for last year’s playoffs when both Allen and Mitchell were out. However, before missing the next few games, Mitchell still dominated in a win against the Celtics in Boston during the playoffs.

This season, both teams won two games each, but the Cavs have the better overall numbers.

Here are the numbers for the four games—Cavs 2 wins, Boston 2 wins.

    *Cavs:*
    – 2 wins
    – 115.0 points per game
    – 46% Field Goals
    – 39% 3-Point FG
    – Biggest strength: Cavs' bench dominated, outscoring Boston’s 33 to 6

    *Boston:*
    – 2 wins
    – 114.8 points per game
    – 45% Field Goals
    – 41% 3-Point FG

Also, you stated when Boston is all clicking unstoppable well not explosive as the Cavs when they are all clicking.
The Cleveland Cavaliers set another franchise record 83 points in the first half, taking a 41 point lead against the Golden State Warriors into halftime.
Then Cleveland scored 91 points breaking their other record of 83 in half — matching the third most in a first half in NBA history — and rolled to a 144-101 win over Dallas.

That Boston team never did this.

  9. We, as bucks fans, know damn well that our team play the same way than 2018. No change besides Giannis catching the ball in the elbow or taking mid ranges.

We are one of the few teams that sadly did not do a good job to draft players but also too gentle with this group. Besides Giannis, does anybody has improve in his game ? No one. That's why that know you have the C's, Okc and Cavs who are showing a new path. 1 to 10 can ball out. Not just 1 or 2 player.

  10. I dont disagree with the easy to guard and Giannis not wanting to pass. But in the beginning of the season I think Doc had a plan to make Giannis a pass first guy telling him he knew he would get his own to get others involved. The problem was Giannis was passing out but there is a lot go those games Giannis could have had 20 assists a game but he would pass out to the open man and they would just keep missing. We then had a horrible record and I think Giannis just took the "I'll do it myself" mentality which then hindered his chemistry with Dame as well. I think it is hard we are seeing dudes get open like Prince and they are just not landing.

  11. I've watched every game and Jeff is right (ouch it hurt to say that).
They very good when the offense is ran through Giannis. For whatever reason Doc insists on forcing the issue with Dame. The offensive issue is really simple: Giannis needs to facilitate and Dame will need to be taking more corner 3's to his dismay.
