I’m pro Ward at this point. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, and you’ll win more games with a serviceable rookie qb and a bad edge than you would with a great edge and a bad qb.

I don’t get what “top end traits” he doesn’t have. I mean, I guess size isn’t ELITE, but he’s not Bryce young. Arm seems pretty elite. He’s plenty mobile.
I ask myself
If you get Randy Moss instead of Peyton Manning, are you upset?
If you get Charles Woodson instead of Randy Moss, are you upset?
If you get Peyton Manning instead of Randy Moss, are you upset?
On the flip, if you get Jamarcus Russell instead of Calvin Johnson.. I’m upset.
Best case scenario he is our franchise QB.
Worst case scenario we again win 3 games, and draft 1st overall 2026.

Orlovsky was on mcafee yesterday and compared him to Steve McNair. Take that with a grain of salt but a pretty good comparison in my opinion.
