Will the Mavericks be playing in Dallas for the foreseeable future? Mavericks rumors on their new arena as the Mavs are set to leave the American Airlines Center after the 2031 NBA season have started to heat up on a potential new arena in the city of Irving, near the old Texas Stadium site where the Dallas Cowboys called home for 37 years. Mavericks owner Miriam Adelson wants to build a casino-like resort, and that will likely only happen in Irving. Mayor Eric Johnson of Dallas has said he wants to keep the Mavs in Dallas and will do everything in his power to do so. Moving to Irving isn't that big of a deal. Moving as far as fort worth it even Arlington would feel like a big change
Where in Dallas could they go if they wanted to put in this new arena though? Its just like with the Cowboys, I don't know if the city of Dallas has the room or land for a new arena so Irving might be the best place for them to go
