  1. Truthfully, Indy has been "decent QB play" away from winning the division the past 2 years.

If AR doesn't improve his passing much from last year, Jones will easily beat him out. Colts have a top 5 O-line and a very underrated WR room. Two things Jones never had in NY. By no means am I saying they're superbowl contenders, but with Jones, I could see them winning the division. After 10 years, that would be a huge step in the right direction.

  2. I think its sensible move for the Colts. Its likely an overpay, but it makes sense. Ballard said he wants a QB competition and AR hasn't shown he can be healthy. DJ has had some solid years int he leader (at least a solid season). That's more than we can say for AR at this point. The Colts have more talent on their offense than New York did when Jones was there. I think having that talent around him will really elevate his play. He has some mobility so the offense wont shift a ton if he needs to play. Best case scenario is this lights a fire under AR and he is able to unlock his full potential. Worse case scenario AR can't beat our Jones and we draft a new guy in a loaded QB draft next year.

Realistically what other option did we have? Darnold went to the seahawks, fields to New York, Zach Wilson to the Dolphins. Jacoby or Trey Lance aren't better. a 40 Year old Aaron Rodgers wouldn't be the answer. At least with this signing we have top QB selected in the top 10 competing against each other. if one of them plays lights out, we found a franchise guy. If they both suck, we can draft a QB next year. I'm not over the moon about it, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

  3. What about Pickett going to the Browns?
He was a bust in Pitt…..Mason Rudolph took Pitt to the playoffs
Now the bust Pickett is going to the Browns, possibly as the starter

  4. Great work once again! A little more information about the Daniel Jones to the colts; if he does get beat but does a great job; i could see him resign with the Indianapolis colts as Their back up. Anthony is 23 years old; needs a back up roll; an reliable back up in just in case he gets hurt; It's hard to say if he will start this year; it should be a fun battle between Jones an Anthony Richardson.

  5. Either Richardson proves himself or the Giants have a low-end starter for a couple of years until they can draft another qb. Seems like a win-win to me🤷‍♂️

  6. Don't understand it.

If Richardson can't be that guy then you tank the season to get a high draft pick. Unless they want Jones to lead the tank, then that makes sense.

  7. Jes same as AR and Fields. He can manage to win if the defense and rest of offense carries there weight and competes. None of them wil be abke to drag this team to wins on their own.

  8. If you watch Daniel Jones, college tape and NFL tape as a runner… Not only is he fast but he’s incredibly strong and he puts his head down and barrel through players, stiff arms players and has quite a few spin moves on tape where he’s made multiple people miss. He is a very underrated running talent
