  9. I speculated that Domi was playing with a nagging injury earlier in the season. Now it appears as if it is no longer an issue. Whatever the cause was he's been ;looking good lately and I hope he keeps it up.

  10. The Flames are struggling to make the playoffs and spend half the night in the penalty box. The definition of insanity ? Rasmus. Nice stare ! Looks pretty stupid in hindsight. Lose the gsme, win the staring contest. I'm sure Flames management are impressed.

  11. These are better Mick sweaters than their last ones..although they should be fully green.

    The last ones had that stripe around the middle that made Matthews look like he was number 314.

    34 is also a terrible number…Its like it probably should be a goalie number..although nobody I knew growing up would use 32, or 34.

    And its not even at least a cool hot dog number.

    Like Marchand's 63, its a wishy-washy lame, meaningless "football" number.

    No skater, especially on a newer team with no history , should wear anything above 29.

  13. Joe <3 Nothing like it 🙂 AND I love how he calls Nylander WILLY ! endearing and makes me smile cause everyone usually gets their last name by joe. When do you ever hear holmberg giving a good hit to so and so… never ! why is he there what does he do that is considered a player they can move up and down the lineup surely we can use someone better ffs!

  18. Can anyone explain the retaliation penalty rule ?
    Like if you get crosschecked then attack back you always get called for retaliation but not the original infraction!
    How does the original penalty get ignored?
    Because the other guy retaliated the 1st offence is just forgiven?
    Like when Robertson takes the shot after whistle and gets penalty but Bahl crosschecks him hard and only 1 penalty?
    So retaliation is a call that the ref decides not actually a rule?

  21. If this team, TO, can play like this down the stretch and win 4, 5 or 6 in a row then it might be time to believe this team may have a respectable chance post-season. Proof is in the action, or is it just another flash in the pan to take off some heat.

  22. so the leafs traded a good prospect and a 1st rounder for a 4th line center and the panthers traded a 2nd for Marchand. I hope the leafs get swept and everyone gets fired and traded.
