The Texas Rangers young outfielder Evan Carter has struggled in spring training so far. Carter is coming off an injured season and with the signing of Kevin Pillar and Leody Taveras’ good spring, Carter might benefit from additional time in the minors to regain confidence at the plate.

Jacob deGrom threw four innings in his latest spring training start and looks just about ready for the regular season.

No definitely don’t start him there , spring training is for exactly this knocking the rust off returning from injury, saw him perform at the highest level which is the playoffs so I’m not too worried about him in regular season, if the struggles continue a month or 2 in and the team can’t pick him up then yes , we got plenty of vets that should be able to pick up the slack until he returns to form
