A lot of people being in the coach spot wouldn’t explain the reason. It make the guy better tho when he shown the way
Baseball is a boring sport. This guys telling the story like he is a delta force member. What a joke.
it’s the all star game & buddy is bunting🤣
“I’m in the bathroom and I get pounded”
I f’n love stories like this. Especially with his poor choice of wording about ‘being pounded on’ in the bathroom! Means it’s authentic because he wouldn’t make that kk d of mistake if the story was fake!
He looks like Dick Butkus.
Coaches coach and players play
is there such a thing as an all star game not in mid season?
Getting pounded on the door is crazy
Minor leagues are not about winning, it's about developing players for mlb. They are evaluating players and grading their skills.
Coach was playing chess here. Great teachable moment
U still made the rite choice
The minors is about apprenticeship. A ton of people never get past that point. It's great to watch, but it is where you watch a player grow or go.
You should've left the part in where he had to find his way to the next game lmao!
there is a story I heard that happened about 100 years ago where a player was up to bat with a man on 1st and no outs in the bottom of the 9th, they were down by a run. He was told to bunt to advance the runner. The player up to bat hit a home run and won the game. Once he got to the dugout the manager slapped him and told him "when I tell you to bunt, you bunt". I have not been able to find a good source for this story, but it's become a legend in baseball history that whatever the manager wants, you do no matter what.
I’m still very confused how this absolute bum of a player became a manager so quickly . MLB props up the ass kissers I guess
Can someone clarify what Tony La Russa meant (according to Skip)? The part about the bullpen match-up?
And with this story it now explains why baseball fundamentals are down the drain and why baseball is nothing but strike out in your front yard.
