  2. I would do Jackson for reasons below,
    – DJ is hurt so we might need Lord as a starter in the future
    – Jackson while horrendous last year actually looked good in the majors (no idea how that works)
    – Jackson is running out of options down to the minors, I wouldn't want to use another, and I would keep Lord in the minors since he is still a full prospect
    – Lastly, Jackson still had better numbers during spring training than Lord, even though its one start. Jackson still had more strike outs.

  3. I am actually glad you liked these city connects more, I never told people I liked them more than the Cherry Blossoms, but part of me does. I really do like the new city connects. Honestly I wish they would wear both, there is enough games to use one some games, and another other games.

  4. I am not very optimistic about the upcoming season. Based on play in spring training, I think the Nats are going to have a worse record then the last 2 seasons. The team was kinda boring to watch in Florida. Hopefully I'm wrong.

  5. How do you feel about Stone Garrett? After coming back from injury, the final home series of last year he nearly hit for the cycle in his comeback game. I was at that game with my son and I thought, you know, I should invest in some of his rookie cards, so I did and I would love to see him have a big year if they give him a chance, then I saw your video about him being DFA. Do you think he has a future as a star player with potential and do you see his career being with Washington or elsewhere?

  6. Nats will win about 80 games and finish 4th in a strong division. But they would have won 80 last year if they had kept Hunter, Thomas and Winker. Pitching looks too weak for a serious payoff challenge but I like the youngsters.

  7. I hope they keep Lord in the pen. Good way to get him ML hitter exposure in low pressure situations. He's such a smart pitcher. I would like to see him familiarize himself with some of the best hitters now, so that when he' eventually is added to the rotation, he will be better prepared. He's looking like a young Greg Maddox to me.

  8. Bob Carpenter in my opinion will go down as a legend and the Nationals’ lead play-by-play television announcer and the city connect jerseys are pretty sick.
