This draft offers a bunch of average level talent in the middle of the draft with very little top level talent at the top. In this mock #14 was outside most of the top talent that should be used at 14. So a trade back to 22 with the chargers and then Loveland was taken at 21 and other talents I like in the 20’s were also gone we decided to move back again to 29 with the commanders and ended up with 2 extra picks while also moving back 6 spots from 80 to 86.

  1. I both love and hate it. Fills a lot of needs with solid talent. Love Mason Taylor and Skattebo. And Schwesinger might be my favorite LB in the draft.

But I’ve always thought the returns to trade back on PFF are a little inflated compared to what we’d actually get.

  2. You did what Ballard had done for 5 out of 8 drafts, trading back and back to accumulate subpar talent. Horrendous and egregious if this is the case in April. Ballard is on the final straw and he would be stupid to not move up for a game changing player if it’s there.

  3. Think that trading back in this draft is appropriate. Not sold that Warren will be an elite talent (a la Bowers), so no point in taking him at 14 (if he’s still there).

  4. I don’t like trading back because Colts need too much. Top available at most positions imo
