The only question that matters is where would Warren rank in pass catching options? At best 3rd. You don't spend #10 on a 3rd receiving option when you need OLine and Dline pieces.

If you are a bears fan of more than 10 to 15 years and you don’t believe that running back, middle linebacker and quarterback are the three most important positions on the Chicago Bears who play in soldier field. You have brains in your ass. We have not had an elite running back Since Matt forte.
Doesn’t make sense to draft a TE at 10.
PFF shows hit rates for day 1 picks. TE hit 73% of the time. The safest position. Followed by o-line and safeties.
The question shouldn't be about hit rate but need. You don't talk about hit rate when taking a QB in the first. You NEED one so you take a shot.
If we don't think there is A clear prospect for our biggest needs – still offensive line and defensive line – it seems like the answer is pretty simple to me. Trade back and get more value.

Got to look at BJ offense though he likes to run a lot of 12 man personal and a very creative offensive skeems not to mention would help Williams with Kmet on one side Warren on the other
It has as much or more to do with this new HC as conventional wisdom. Two TE sets and the opportunity for creative play calling align with Warren at 10. Im with it.
Why are we looking at TE if we have Kmet? You guys are writing off Kmet? The bears need to build O line and D line. We don't know if Jonah Jackson will work out and we don't know if one of those guys will get injured. Stay disciplined and build the trenches. Finish the job!
Braggs Warren as a WR does not make him MORE valuable…we need Warren to do TE things too besides catching the ball. Id rather him be closer to LaPorta. 65-80 receptions is fine…let Rome and DJ get over 100 receptions.

Bears should absolutely get Tyler Warren at 10. Dude is a dawg. Him and Kmet would be unstoppable over the middle
If you pick Warren you’re hoping he’s Bowers but he’s not. He’s more of a traditional TE those guys take years to develop look at Kmet it took him awhile to get a footing on the team.
I rather cut the baby at TE get a pure receiver TE and a pure blocking one. Kmet is already your do it TE
