I've been saying this since the Soto trade…If we can stay healthy and finish the season around .500 this year, then I think we can be a wild card team next year. I honestly think we can be a 75 win team at the least. I really hope we have a chance to play spoiler for a few teams on the playoff bubble come september, which is always nice. I don't think Rizzo is going anywhere. There's always a method to his "madness", especially when the Lerner's won't spend a dime on the team. It also helps that we have the number 1 pick this year too, further deepening our prospects. Our outfield is set, our pitching worries me the most. I think Wood will eventually move to DH down the line. Also, I'd move Jacob Young to leadoff. I want his speed on the basepaths as much as possible, and I think he'd see better pitches if he was hitting earlier in the lineup

James Wood is an MVP Caliber player as long as he stays healthy over the next six years with the Nats.
