  3. Jarace needs to be in the rotation, Shep has been struggling and Bryant isn’t particularly great at anything other than hustling.

    That being said, I don’t think Shepp can be a valid role player for us. He’s been below average in both seasons with the Pacers. His shooting is bad, that’s why he’s left open so many times. He’s a nice dude but I’ve seen plenty of nice dudes who just failed to contribute and were due for an upgrade like Travis Diener and AJ Price

  5. Single game or small sample size +/- ….. guys we have Caitlin Cooper covering our team. Listen to her. The stat means nothing.

    Ben still does all the little stuff well but he HAS to find his shot if he wants to play. Make or miss league.

    Also Jarace is a roller coaster we can’t afford in the playoffs. I genuinely hope we cut our rotation down this year. Benn Obi every game and TJ/TB both on a short leash.

  6. Shepp has had a bad stretch since the all star break but it’s been exceptionally bad the last 9 games.

    First 10 games he averaged 6.4/3.6/1.4 while shooting 24/49(48%) overall and 11/33(33%) from three while getting 19.1 minutes per game. You’d like to see more with 19 minutes but he’s also the 4th-5th option while out there and his primary job is defense.

    Last 9 games have been atrocious with 1.3/3.4/1.4 on 5/24(20%) and 1/16(6%) from three with 16.2 minutes of play. He’s gone scoreless in 3 of the last 4 games.

    I know the guy works hard. This is genuine slump and his confidence is shot. He’s never been the shooter as advertised heading into the league but his intangibles could make up for that and you figure at some point the shot will come. At this point teams can just ignore him making playing defense against our bench lineups much easier.
