  1. I mean if you search high and low long enough, you can find an excuse to defend anything in life. Like you said, you were up all night thinking about it searching for excuses. Still doesn’t make the decision smart or right. If you were going to bring grant holmes into pitch, why wouldn’t you put him in the higher leverage situation? You can read us Hector career stats all day long, I can see them online as well, but you do realize he’s been fairly bad the last season or two correct? The cubs of all teams DFA’d last year. Then he went back to Houston and struggled. Not too mention the fact that he’s not a spring chicken anymore. It’s not just me that thinks this, apparently so do the cubs and Astros organizations. As well as 20 something other teams, considering they all had a chance to sign him but didn’t. Only the Braves did. Admit it or not, deep down inside you know that it should’ve been Grant or Hernandez in that spot. It’s ok to criticize professional players and coaches when earned, they are big boys and can take it.

Other than that, love the show! It’s a long season, hopefully we’ll get it figured out! Go Braves! 🪓🪓

  2. Every manager should have a list of bullpen pitchers they put in when it's a close game, and when it's not a close game. Hector Neris should NEVER have been on the list of bullpen pitchers you put in a close game when literally the whole team is fresh. The moment I saw him put into the game I was like, WTH? Sending Lee back out was the correct call after pitching only 9 pitches. You've got to play to win that day's game when you've got the lead and the tools available in the regular season. Don't save them for the next game when it would be 6-0 after the 1st inning in tomorrow's game. If you burn them in Game 1, make do with the tools you've got in Game 2. If it's a blowout early, you get your worst bullpen pitchers some work, and you may have got your win, and they are ready for Game 3 in the series. If the Braves starters are comfortable pitching their "pen" inning in a live game, I'd totally utilize that.

  3. You cracking me up today… So let’s replace an over the hill Hector with an over the hill Kimbrel/Chavez/Farmer etc.. Thats not gonna make anyone feel better my guy. The braves pen is turning into a retirement home. 😂

  4. If I’m Chris Sale, I’m losing my crap in that locker room! Also, it’s time for Snit to retire. Thanks for the WS, but his casual, nonchalant attitude towards failure is so frustrating to me.

  5. It’s crazy the way that the game plays out… I thought Albies had a 2nd Homerun and I also thought Baldwin hit a Homerun but we had nothing to show for and yet the Padres put a piss poor one handed swing on a pitch below the zone that gets poked over the infield that scored 2 runs off of Sale🤷‍♂️🤯!

  6. I don't disagree that Neris has the experience to handle a one run game in the 7th. It's just odd using him after only 3ip in ST. While he did get 2 strikes on Sheets and Diaz, these are also players that were cut by the Rockies and White Sox. It was a one run game but these should have been easier batters to retire. Not only did he not retire them, Sheets, Diaz, and Tatis all had xBA over .400 on their hits.
