  2. how do they do the stats on the runner on 2nd if he scores ? Does the pitcher get dinged for that run on his era stats ? Seems a bit unfair if so.

  8. Come on, Hoskins isn't a top of the line guy. He gets paid way too much but that doesn't mean he should be playing when he doesn't deserve it.

  16. Pat Murphy is a BADA$$! After the game, a reporter asks Murphy, "What did you say to Brice Turang before he came to bat?" Murphy responds, "Did I talk to Brice? Did you see me talk to him?" The reporter said, "We could see you saying something to him." Murphy says, " You want to know the truth?" The reporter says, "We saw something being said." Pat Murphy answered, " I told Brice to lay a bunt down the 1st base line. It'll win the game. That's it. That's all I said."

  17. Now it's Nasty Nester in game one against the Reds. The Crew used their 3 top leverage guys in the victory yesterday. If leading, I see Brian Hudson getting the call, throw in Joel Payamps for an inning, and maybe put Elvis Peguero to the test. If up by one and maybe 2 in the 7th, I think Murphy uses yesterday's team in reverse: Koenig in the 7th, Uribe in the 8th, and Megill in the 9th.

  18. We needed this Gem from Freddie. For 1 game he had no uncompetitive "Waste" pitches. 97 pitches in 8 innings !! What a week it was in Cheeseheadland with both the Bucks and Brewers not just losing, but being completely outclassed.

  19. In NY Freddie gave up wallscrapers that would not have been out of the other 29 stadiums. Then 2 more runs scored when a potential DP grounder hits the bag
