Generally curious on what people think are the best matchups for the Cavs in the post season.

Assuming the Cavs hold the number one seed and get through to the second round would you rather be matched up against the Pacers or the Knicks? (Providing they win their first round series.)

Whilst both teams are good, I personally feel like the knicks would be a better match up for us. Their lack of depth on the bench makes life easier for us, it’s a case of wearing out their starters to take the W. The Pacers on the other hand have got a deeper bench and play fast tempo ball that always seems to shock the Cavs.

In my opinion, the Cavs should be trying to get the pacers in the third seed. The Cavs can partially control the narrative by deciding the outcome in the final two meets whilst trying to beat the Knicks in the final match up.

What are your thoughts?

  1. Is it crazy to think both Warriors and Lakers beat Thunder? I sure am taking that bet, if nothing else for great value.

I like how our side looks though. Bottom half looks exhausting, feels like we might be more rested in ECF (not to uderrestimate Pacers, and I just dont see Bickerstaff squad going dar)

  2. so by the graphic the cavs would play the pacers/pistons winner in the 2nd round. they wouldnt see the knicks til the ecf (if they win out). I like our chances against anybody ngl. cavs in 7

  3. This is where I hope that the Hawks wins and be in the same bracket as Boston and NYK

  4. Any idea if the first round of games for the cavs will be televised on the FanDuel app?

  5. Yeah, I think the Knicks or bucks would be a better matchup for us over Indy or Detroit.

Also, am I the only one that is more worried about the 7-10 seeds than the 3-6 seeds?? I feel like Chicago, Miami, and Atlanta have all been really tough games for us this season

  6. Why tf does the NBA use this format instead of an actual bracket so I can see who plays who in the middle rounds

  7. Seeing how Indiana has been playing lately, I hope they jump the Knicks for the 3 seed. That offense has been scary lately, and the Cavs have played great against the Knicks this year. Fine with how all the other dominos fall, just prefer Boston and Indiana in the other semifinal.
