Remember a month or so ago when he said: “That’s not me. That’s not the way I roll. I’m pretty old-school in the fact that, you know, that felt good. the ball flight looked good. That must’ve worked.”
Some of you overreacted.
Tork doubters have been awfully *quiet* this week..
He’s attacking the ball this year, last year he was very tentative.
When did they add the ultra-rich seats behind home plate?

Love me some torkelson, so happy for his resurgence
I must admit
While the pitcher missed his spot by just a little bit
That is still not a very easy pitch for Tork to hit
Let alone hit for a homer especially considering his hitter profile this year
Not to mention it was with two strikes which turns up the pressure a little bit
I was very impressed with Torkelson there
It is the first at bat he’s had this year where I actually took a step back and I was like
Wow………that was pretty impressive, like I’ve never really seen you do that before, more of that please
Punishing pitchers even when they hit close to their spots in Torkelsons weakspots
If he can continue to have at bats like that where it appears he might be fixing holes in his hot zones, he will change my opinion on him of what kind of future if any future he might have on this team

I can’t help but think of my Torkel hating (and C Keith lover) when I say and there is no one behind Spencer (‘to protect’?).. so pitchers will eventually pitch around him
if they haven’t tried already.

Is the Tork we’ve all been dreaming about finally becoming a reality?
I remember in the offseason he was against using the new swing technology tools and seemed hopelessly locked into his ways.. did that change?
Was it York that requested to get rip of the dirt path? Cause he seems to see the ball better with grass.
Please fix behind home plate. Put real fans there.
We’ve seen him go on tears before, but never early on. I hope this is a good sign that he’s going to be a lot more consistent.
