Milwaukee Brewers Are Cincinnati Reds Daddy | Reds Start Season 3-7 | Chatterbox Reds | Game 10
Trace Fowler and Nick Kirby will be LIVE at 9:00 PM on Sunday night.
The Cincinnati Reds face off against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in the final game of a four-game series, with first pitch scheduled for 2:10 PM EDT. This matchup pits two NL Central rivals against each other in what promises to be an intriguing contest as both teams look to set the tone early in the 2025 season. The Reds, coming off a 77-85 campaign in 2024, are desperate to turn things around under new manager Terry Francona, while the Brewers aim to build on their strong recent history against Cincinnati, having won 39 of their last 53 meetings.
On the mound, the Reds send out right-hander Carson Spiers, who carries a 1.50 ERA into this start after a solid season debut where he allowed just one run over six innings against Texas. However, Spiers has struggled historically against Milwaukee, posting an 11.45 ERA across three appearances (one start), surrendering 15 runs in 11 innings. He’ll need to find a way to tame a Brewers lineup that has shown signs of life after a slow start to the season. Leading the charge for Milwaukee is second baseman Brice Turang, who’s riding a nine-game hitting streak, batting .306 with two homers and six RBI over that span, including a two-run shot in Friday’s 3-2 win.
The Brewers counter with right-hander Chad Patrick, who enters with a 3.18 ERA from his first outing. While less experienced against the Reds, Patrick’s early-season form suggests he could keep Cincinnati’s struggling offense in check. The Reds have been anemic at the plate, managing just 14 hits across their last four games before breaking out with four homers in Saturday’s 11-7 victory, which snapped a four-game skid. TJ Friedl, who went 4-for-5 with a homer in that game, will look to stay hot, alongside Elly De La Cruz and Gavin Lux, who’ve shown flashes of potential.
Milwaukee enters as -145 favorites, with the Reds at +121 and an 8.5-run total set for the game. After splitting the first three games, this finale could hinge on pitching execution and whether Cincinnati’s bats can sustain Saturday’s momentum. With both teams vying for early divisional footing, expect a competitive clash in

Beatings will continue until morale improves .. not being harsh . Facts are facts
Us reds fan are sick of losing I wish we could fire ownership
Reds can’t expect to ever be in playoffs if the batters can only hit one type of pitcher and cannot hit a lefthander
They insist on batting Candy high in the order like he’s an RBI guy. Bell did it, Francona is doing it. He is a #8 hitter at best and wouldn’t start on 95% of teams, probably not even on the roster.
Farley and Steer need sent down Steer ain't healthy but Farley absolutely sucks I agree with tracce
McLain needs to learn how to stretch, Fraley needs to go
