REDS POSTCAST: Austin Hays and Gavin Lux POWER the Cincinnati Reds to an 8-4 victory

The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Seattle Mariners 8-4 on Jackie Robinson Day at Great American Ball Park. 1. Great win by the Reds tonight which was awesome and what a comeback by the Reds with the newest Red Austin Hays big three run HR. Gavin Lux perfect hitting and then the bullpen were lights out with Graham Ashcraft, Tony Santillan, and Emilio Pagan allowing no runs there in the later innings to make it four wins in a row. Go Reds

  2. Why the hell do Reds fans always want the backup to start? Our starting catcher is Tyler. Stuff like starting vs DH comes back to roost when it's time to ask for a discount at contract time. I get the fantasy baseball reasons, but it makes no sense in real life. Tyler throws better, hits better, and the pitching staff has pitched just as good with Austin Wynns as with Trevino. And I love what Trevino has brought to the Reds so far, but he is the backup.

  3. I'm no Diaz apologist but his outing went like 1: 4 strikes 1 ball – walk, 2: line out, 3: pitch 4 should have been strike 2 pitch 5 would have been strike 3 pitch 6 was ball 4- walk, 4: was the only 100% accuratly called AB and probably because most of them were swung at.

  4. CES is quickly becoming a bust and shows no evidence he will hit with any consistency. Candy needs to become 26th man and stop starting.
