Put eli white in leadoff
Terrible offseason makes this predictable
Harris needs to be benched , I’m tired of watching him swing at the ground . 220 hitter at best . Terrible contract
Strider's 18" IVB average is very good. Schwelly's best was 18". Schwelly and others would give a UCL to have that type of ride. I think Strider can live at 95-97 with that IVB but what we want is Strider of 2023 and i hope we see him again but I'm not holding my breath.
It was definitely Kevin Seitzer s fault
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The contract Michael Harris received with so little time in the majors, and never playing a day at the AAA level, is so costing the Braves now. This young man looks horrible at the plate, and this is not a new look, as it is something we see day after day. Then someone will say, "well, he may suck at the plate, but his speed and glove are premium". Really? Wasn't that Harris that got the bad jump on the fly ball that turned an out into a hit? Yes it was, and that's not premium play, period. And what the hell is he doing in the leadoff position? Is everyone in a coaches uniform brain dead? How bout do some some coaching, or get the hell out of the way and let someone else coach. Failure, something the Atlanta coaches are very good at.
Someone woke up Snitker for the post game presser….his "I don't knows" were him telling the truth. There were 16 very questionable calls from the blind home plate umpire against our hitters, and there was not a peep out of Snitker complaining to the umpire. Why not? Why the hell not? Why is Snitker's job not on the line? I don't know is a horrible answer. Its like asking the Captain of the ship where we are, and the Captain responding "I don't know". That is an unacceptable response from both the ship Captain and from the Manager of the Atlanta Braves.
It is time to clean house, staff and players. Everyone has grown weary of watching the worst team in baseball, of all the underperforming players, and just as important the underperforming coaching staff. DO SOMETHING ATLANTA…..SOMETHING!
Braves are hitting better in 2025 on fastballs and breaking balls in the zone than they did in 2024. Across the board. BA is up, OBP is up, SLG is up. wOBA is up. Offspeed is down but still good.
The Braves are hitting so much better on balls in the zone in 2025. K% is down. BB% is up.
The problem is the shadow zone. The Braves cannot make contact or lay off pitches in the shadow zone. The Braves are seeing 42.3% strikes. 57.7% of the pitches they see are out of the zone. If they can continue to see more pitches and continue the increased walk rate then pitches will be more likely to throw strikes, which the Braves are crushing. I think the philosophy make sense, it's the execution that's off.
Braves remember the kid in you who played for the love of the game. Let's play ball were the three greatest words ever to make a sentence. Relax you making crazy
money you can afford to have some fun. Wake up and do the ❤best you can do then let the rough end drag
It's not over till it's over says Yougi. Bring it on
says Strider . If you can't have any fun then just go home says me. Let's play ball says the little in every one of us.
Verdugo & Allen platoon at leadoff
I guarantee you this crap would not be happening with Freddie Freeman in the locker room.
Sniktner needs his ass handed to him, He in retirement mode.
I’m tired of hearing “we have to do better”. My wife bought us tickets back in January for the game next Monday against the cardinals. I don’t want to go. I’d rather have the money back.
I can't bare to listen to this. Baseball is supposed to be my escape. No joy at all.
Can we put any blame on Tim hires?
