  1. I was terrified when the Rangers signed Patrick Corbin, I still am… but that was a great start by him (comparatively speaking). Still no idea why they would pay Corbin a million dollars when they could have got Trevor Bauer for like 800k but here we are.

  2. Dustin Harris has been a huge hit so far! Giving me Evan Carter vibes! Hopefully he can keep it up and Evan can get back on track! Lot of exciting young talent!

  3. Batting Peterson 3rd was moronic. Let him relax at the bottom of the lineup till he figures it out. Burger is batting 7th and clearly he’s more relaxed (3-4 w/ and RBI).

  4. Harris might be one of a dozen guys who make their way to Arlington from the minors. This team has more slumps and injuries than any Ranger team in my lifetime. When Seager is your rock in the lineup you are skating on thin ice. Would love to see Carter make his way back, for Osuna to get his shot and to see what we’ve got in Walcott, Teodo, Rosario, Ortiz,Cauley and a returning Church. So many exciting guys in the pipeline. We can still have a lights out bullpen and a dynamic offense. You never know where the next great shot-in-the-arm stud is coming from.
I like the idea of finding him sooner rather than later.

  5. Rangers had rough road trip, so coming back to Texas and getting few wins in the division is a good lifted up! Pitching been steady, batting not so much! And whats going on with Joc Ped!!!! Dude you need to come on, cause just mastter time Evan coming back up and D. Harris deserve hang around for now!!!!

  6. Peterson needs a hobo beard until he starts hitting. He reminds me of Larry Parrish, who was awful for two months when he got here then hit three grand slams in a week!!!!!
That’s how it goes. Semien was also awful when he first got here
(13-83 no homers in April 2022,
24-103 with one homer in May22, then 25 home runs the rest of the way but finishing 3-29 with one RBI at the end of the season). Hitters and their psyches are fragile but recover-able. Peterson seems like a loose cannon so that explains his mental fatigue but he ended the season last year, when he was great, 11-49 with 2 homers and 4 RBI’s so this is just a continuation of that (14-95 over his last 34 games). The Dodgers gave up on him, as did the Cubs, Braves and Giants but he proved he could still hit last year with the Diamondbacks (top 10 in OPS) and perhaps he just needs to crowd the plate and take some shots to the noggin (18 HBP, also top 10). He either needs to hit leadoff or 9th but he needs to be in the lineup EVERY GAME. I like him and he’s an intimidating guy when he’s hot. Stop batting him 3rd!!!!!
He provides no “protection” Seager. Right now he would for Taveras 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  7. 8:33 ……Burger’s exit Velocity
113 MPH. He’s figuring it out.
Waiting for Peterson’s exit velocities to start improving so we will finally have the lineup we thought we would have.
This team is on the brink.
I can feel it. Just need some luck .
