  1. Kirk has already been paid. How do people keep missing this? They said it would be a huge distraction having a rookie and were wrong about that too. Falcons have no good reason to trade him unless they get what they want because it doesn't make business sense to.

  2. Cousins lied to the Falcons. He was injured and refused to go through rehab. Other clubs may not want to experience the same scenario…. unless you are the Giants or Titans.

  3. Atlanta has screwed this whole thing up. I don't see anything happening with Cousins until after the draft. (I wouldn't be surprised if San Francisco is a possible destination if Purdy doesn't sign an extension.)

  4. Who would offer a mid QB coming off an injury this kind of contract??? But the Steelers can use him(20 mil for a starting QB is a good deal).

  5. I think things will change as the playoff picture unfolds and some desperate teams lose their starter and they have a vet team in their window thus they pick him up for the remainder of the season.

  6. Bro is getting a bag to be a back up . I understand the competitive nature but if no team has sought him out then it’s obvious you’re not that guy anymore. And the teams in the draft are going younger at QB . Plus there were rumors about his arm strength declining last year significantly

  7. Cousins and his representatives have fleeced every team he’s played for. He isn’t being traded to play for free or even the veteran minimum. He made
$62 million last year. He is going to want another big check over a multi year deal.

  8. He should just stay in Atlanta. He'll end up the starter this year one way or the other. Penix didn't look all that great in his short stint last year and his right knee is a ticking time bomb.

  9. Didn’t they say that they drafted Pennix because they didn’t want not a backup like the year before, isn’t trading Kirk going out them back in the same situation as two years ago👂🏾

  10. Cutting cousin makes no sense. Money is due to him regardless still on the hook for all the money. Saving 10 million on a 45 mil cap hit isn't solving the problem

  11. They aren't asking too much. Either they get what they want or Kirk sits the bench. Maybe Cousins should ask for a contract restructure and get released. What a theif

  12. Atlanta tampered in negotiations with Cousins last offseason. The Vikings make sense If it's 10 million and a 2nd round pick to the Vikings, nothing less! But he would come here as a backup, not a starter. Also, If Atlanta winds up cutting him, It serves them right. In addition to that, How much is any team gping to be willing to pay Cousins??? Even if it's Cleveland, They can't afford him. Maybe Pittsburgh steps in if they can't get Rodgers.

  13. Cousins WILL get paid this year to not play.
Next year he can be free to do whatever
But he made 100 million for 12 games
    Not bad
    Falcons are the new jets.

  14. I hope Kirk-a-la-Cousins gets a chance to play, whether he stays with Atlanta or lands somewhere else! He's a good dude, he's Kirko Chains, he deserves to Swag Surf again!

  15. Im just getting a little bored of the boo hoo poor Kirk Cousins, the Falcons surprised him and drafted a QB who ended up taking the starter job after one year. That wasnt the case they paid him good money to be the starter and he STUNK he was so bad for so many weeks in a row. Career worsts in almost any category. If he played up to his contract he would still be the starter right now, and its only his own plays fault if no other teams view him as a starter going into this season. He getting paid big money to sit on the bench and thats what he will do potentially for the end of his career.
