The Carolina Panthers seemed to be locked in on making a trade back in the draft even at the expense of getting proper value.

In this video we discuss who that player could be in a targeted trade back.

  1. I have a question! I have a bad taste in my mouth from Ole Miss! It seems like every player we get from Ole Miss has turned out to be a bust! The blind side guy-bust, Mingo-bust! I don’t know man. Have we ever gotten a good player from that program?

  2. Picking nolen also gives more flexibility of not necessarily having to worry about development and scheme fit if evero isnt here next season compared to draft jalon walker and then evero is gone and a dc comes that wasnt necessarily high on walker

  3. Frequently changing schools shows someone that will give up when things don't go their way. High character is someone that will stay and work through adversity. Look at the number of times that Thomas Davis could have quit and with good reason.
I'm a huge fan of Ezeiruaku in this draft.

  4. I think a realistic trade i could see is if graham and walker are both at 8 and they trade back with the 49ers so they can take graham ahead of the saints and bears. Thats ofcourse if the panthers are okay with losing mason graham

  5. I think they really want to trade back for cap space purposes. If im not mistaken, the higher your picked the more you get paid. They’re probably just trying to avoid that while at the same time trying to get more picks.

  6. Forget that!! If teens don't want to pay fair value for a future pro bowler, say the heck with that and stay at pick 8. Draft Warren, Johnson, or whoever is left. I don't care if it's an offensive tackle. (I don't want a tackle at 8) but it's time for us to stop getting screwed over!! People know we're always thirsty so they tried to pull a fast one on us

  7. Mason G or Walter Nolen please, We don't win the superbowl next year, but I miss KK and Star. Tired of being run over…no one listen to me about Mike Parson

  8. I see fans calling for a trade back.
But Morgan gave two conditions for such a scenario: 1. the guys they loved were already gone, 2. Some other team was willing to give good value for the pick.
I don't believe at all that either condition will be met when pick 8 comes around, let alone both.
    We'll see.

  9. Playing Chess, manufacture interest by saying you are willing to take less. More teams call up to move up. Not checkers Dunc :D. In all seriousness tonight will be interesting.
