  1. fuck you leody. put pookie in center full time. or wyatt in center and pookie in LF

  2. Leody is not a good defensive outfielder. I don’t care what stat pages say. And Luke Jackson is not closer material for a contender

  3. This game highlights the two biggest weaknesses we had last few years. A legit closer and a competent centerfielder.

  4. I’d rather have Joc Pederson as a hitter than Taveras as a defender and that is saying something

  5. Walking a .167 batter…classic Leody fumble in the outfield…getting walked off by a goofball whose batting stance looks like Bugs Bunny in the batter’s box.

Please let Harris or Pillar play outfield.

  6. Leody is awful. If we are a serious team, we get him off the field and out of the lineup.

  7. I appreciate Leody being the current longest tenured Ranger, but I will celebrate when this man is no longer on this team.

Switch hitter who is benched against lefties. Career .658 OPS hitter in 1663 ABs, and he simply does **NOT** make up for it with his glove in CF.

He is hands down the worst player in the lineup 9/10 times and I really wish Evan Carter did not have a debilitating chronic back injury.

    Oh well lol.

  8. Baseball Savant has Leody as 81 percentile in Fielding run value and 85th in OAA… This is exactly why I don’t trust defensive metrics. Dude has single handedly cost us multiple games and can’t play competent defense and swings a wet noodle for a bat

  9. If we’re going to keep Leody in the lineup (we shouldn’t), can we at LEAST use Pillar as a defensive sub for him late in games??

  10. If I had a nickel for every game we lost because something stupid Leody Taveras did after the 7th inning, I’d have like 3 bucks.

  11. Jackson throwing a slider for ball 4 to the 8 hole hitter batting .167 is a cardinal sin for a closer. Can’t happen. Have to challenge that hitter.

  12. Past time to sound the alarm on this offense. Say what you will about Leody, it’s over for his defenders, but three solo shots and too many LOB to count is unacceptable in that ballpark.

  13. Fuck Leody and all that but we gotta score runs. Can’t be a winning team scoring 3 runs a game. It’s got to turn around. Fuck I miss 23.
