  10. This is the problem when people say – “in the playoffs you only need 8 guys so that’s all that matters”

    It completely ignores the fact that you need other players to soak up minutes and games all year

  13. I must say this. Some of these injuries are from our guys not taking enough time off or playing through the injury making it worse. Some injuries you can play through, but never play through or rush an injury that can linger

    MPJ knows he’s probably out, and Jamal is now one of those players who will be in/out for the rest of his career.

  16. Our guys have been hurting all year, they can’t just miraculously heal because the playoffs started. Weak bench and injuries have held us back all year, it’s unfortunate but not a big surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention

  18. I have deep respect for a lot of the guys on the roster and I’m grateful for the championship run. Guys got paid and they’re set with contracts they will very likely never see again. Can’t wait for a full roster reconstruction though.

  19. Might as well start DaRon Holmes. See what he’s got on one leg. Might be among our healthiest 5 at this point. He’s off crutches at least.

  20. We saw Gordon aggravate his calf last night. Just one of those seasons. Will be an interesting off season that’s for sure but I wouldn’t be surprised either if this team pulls out a win in game 4 somehow

  21. Hopefully whatever is wrong with AG’s calf will actually heal over the summer. 

    Guy’s calf has been injured for like 5 months now.

  22. This seems as good as I will be for years to come — there’s overpaid elements made of glass on bad contracts (c’mon, you know who they are…) clogging the roster and Jokic will never suck enough to land in the lottery to get (multiple) top young talents.

    It’s purgatory w/no easy way out.

  23. Don’t think we make it out of this series at all. And it might be a blessing in disguise so that we can clear house with the coaching staff and hopefully bring in an outside gm. Let them be the bad guy and trade anyone not named Jokic and AG or Braun. Let the retool and bring in a coach they want.

  24. It’s not about heart when you don’t have enough players who should be playing in the playoffs. This roster is full of dudes who wouldn’t play a minute of playoff basketball on any other team in the playoffs rn
