  3. This Rockies team carries the relevancy of the street jugglers at the Alameda intersection. Real MLB teams come through, watch a terrible performance, take the series W, then move forward with their season. Happy 30th Coors Field. You deserve better.

  7. Yes, they should tear it down to the studs. However, its hard to tear it down to the studs when you let the guy who could get you a return just leave the house without collecting rent. Letting Trevor Story, DJ, Jon Gray, and so many other just leave without getting any return doesn't allow you to do it. Not trading Marquez before the injuries by convincing yourself you're a "couple breaks away" is not acceptable. Not trading Daniel Bard because it would hurt his mental health (NOT DISPARING MENTAL HEALTH BUT HE IS A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE) when it would have given you a couple prospects to get the fans excited for. It's all laughable. They're not going to trade anyone. They don't have anyone to trade outside of maybe Brenton Doyle that would net any sizable return. They also won't have any draft pick to show for being the worst team in MLB history. They are stuck. Stuck being the worst franchise in sports. Yes, I think its that serious. They are the most unserious franchise in sports.

  12. My gym doesn't usually put on any baseball, but has lots of football and basketball. Guys will be streaming games on their phones as they lift but it's never the Rockies. They do show postseason baseball though.

  13. Hey Paul! Great seeing you at the game as well, it was a great weekend for baseball even if we did squat all weekend.

    To respond to what you said about the local broadcasting, I haven’t really thought about it since you asked on yesterday’s show. But thinking about how many places and restaurants and great spots I have been during the games, I can confidently say that the Rockies are NOT shown as much as you’d expect. With the Nuggets and Avs doing well, I think they take priority over the TV’s, but even other baseball games being shown seem to be more common. It could have something to do with the changing to the streaming options, like you mentioned, but I’ve seen more Yankees and Dodgers games in public than I can keep track of. The area right around Coors (McGregor, Market st, etc) show the games, but you’re already so close to Coors that I don’t really think it counts.

  15. For what it's worth,the 1988 Orioles started the season 0-21 but did manage to get something going and finished the season 54-107. Not bad considering their start and that they finished the season losing 8 of their last 9.

Thanks for the pod Paul, its crazy how McMahon is 2 for 50 that is actually crazy, if he didn't get thoes 2 hits he would probably break Chris Davis record, but yea I'll always listen to the pod but I honestly want to take a break from watching Rockies baseball, it aint fun. And yea most places in Denver doesn't really play the Rockies anymore, like some places will once and a while but not really, they'll mainly play big market and good teams like Yankees and dodgers, and why should they play the Rockies when Nuggets and Avs are playing.

  17. Sell the team. I'm i big Rockies fan but i know want them to lose every game. Ownership has to change and the people need to stop showing up. Sell the team
