Luke Hughes, Brenden Dillon and Johnny Kovacevic will all miss Game 5.

  1. The worst part is we can’t even get a reason

Like, tell me it’s lower left quadrant of torso or something

  2. Not a pleasant situation at all. Need someone more than just Dumoulin to have a heroic game, as well as near-perfection from Markstrom.

  3. Honestly I’d rather the medical staff play them super conservative with return. Our bottom 6 scoring desert is getting us nowhere fast anyway.

  4. Lining in Luke if he isn’t healthy wouldn’t be worth it, anyway. The kid is going to be on our top line with Quinn for his entire life and I’m looking forward to *those* cup years, and not this year, where we are clearly overmatched by the Canes in the first round.

  5. Our only hope is we dunk on their backup and hopefully, some of our guys return and Freddy for a *fair* game 7.

  6. I mean let’s not get upset with the D men that are out from injury and instead be upset why our power play hasn’t scored a goal (and has a shorty against). Our secondary scoring too has been pretty cold since Xmas. Can’t rely on bratter, Timo and Nico for every game

  7. Apparently Luke had shoulder surgery late last week. I hope Quinn has better shoulders than his brothers

  8. Not worth them playing anyways. Rest up for next year and hope Fitz fixes the bottom 6 and makes the tough choice of moving on from certain players (Dougie and Palat)

  9. This is the right call unless they’re 100% healthy. There’s no reason to try and rush anyone back into this series
