Yesterday was the 34th anniversary of Nolan Ryan’s 7th No-Hitter

I was in a n area where I couldn’t always get the broadcast of the game locally, but I could always listen to the radio broadcast. I listed to this one from beginning to end and it was magical.
I was there that night. I’ve been many, many professional and college sporting events, but obviously that was the best one ever. The tension kept building, and when Roberto Alomar struck out for the final out it was an eruption. I still get chills when I see that final out highlight. Interesting to note that there was a husband and wife couple there that night who were traveling to all MLB stadiums that year and writing a book and they happened to be there that night. What luck.
