  1. Im a VGK fan, and i know rules are rules, but we have no business being ahead in this series. The wild are just flat out outplaying us, and honestly, they have had some really bad luck. NO WAY THIS DOESN'T GO TO 7

  2. Yes, it was offside. You don’t usually have the advantage of an extra few minutes to be checking the tapes due to an Officials Review to then call your challenge. If the kicking motion hadn’t happened (initiating the original review from the refs/Toronto), would VGK video coaches have caught the offsides in time to challenge? Maybe.
It’s also annoying that after the official review it was called a “good goal” …but then was still challenged. I get that the only thing they were looking at was the kicking motion, but if they’re going to review the play/goal, they may as well review all aspects that could make the goal not count.
I hope Nyquist is working on his stretches.

  3. Yes it was offside but if we're going to allow challenges of offside after a goal that wasn't called on the ice by a linesman, we need to allow challenges on missed penalties that weren't called by refs.

  4. It’s a bs rule that needs to be changed. Hanging a skate back with his whole body offside is onside. Two skates with whole body onside is offside. Ridiculous application.

  5. What I hate is that yes it's offsides by the latter of the law, but his body is still on the blue line. What's the point of having the blue line travel upwards and leave the ice if the only thing that matters is that the skate is touching the blue line ON the ice.

  6. I cannot stand Vegas. Ive never seen officiating go so one sided other than when Sid was still The Kid. And im a philly fan, the league hates us
