The entire lineup’s performance is unacceptable lol
Characterize me as glass-half-empty, but I would rather see a two or three hit game from RyMac than a single solo HR. His (and other COL hitters’) problems have been in swinging for the fences regardless of the situation. McMahon getting into one doesn’t mean the problem is addressed.
For such an old school team, I do appreciate Bud embracing the more modern philosophy to put your best hitter in the #1 spot (Doyle) and worst hitter in #7. If RyMac was his usual self he’s a logical choice at #3, but he absolutely should be moved out of #3 until he can get out of his funk. Bud is still old school in refusing to move his established everyday players down the lineup when they’re under performing.
If was up to me Beck or Goodman would be #3
So sad to see young guys like Veen get a different lineup spot everyday when he gets called up while Bud sticks his favorite veterans in one spot for the year regardless of performance.
So is there record, and management, and ownership, and farm system, shall i keep going lol and to think this is there trade deadline piece that will more than likely be going.

He should have been gone already.
