Cherington fired Shelton in an attempt to save his own job. Until Cherington is gone, nothing is going to change because Kelly still works for Cherington.

Replacing only Shelton is like appointing the line cook to take over as captain of the titanic after it hit the iceberg.
Cherington shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the June draft. Kelly will have no input in the draft….a 10 year old with a PC will be able to do the job. Change is needed from Bradenton through the "Big" team. The insanity continues.
