AL cy young should be wide open given we don’t have skenes or whoever the dodgers have eating up votes
We’d be like 4-38 with a lower tier pitching staff. If the bats continue to heat up…we could lose to the Dodgers in the World Series.
the other day i mentioned evo putting up a cy young campaign and got downvoted i feel very vindicated.
I will add that these 3 are also in the top 12 of Cy Young odds on Draftkings (Eovaldi +1400, DeGrom +1600, Mahle +5500).
Mahle especially is massively flying under the radar. He’s tied for 5th in pitcher WAR (with Eovaldi) and has a 261 ERA+ which is higher than most of the other top Cy Young candidates. I think name recognition is hurting him, but if this continues (knock on wood) he will shoot up in odds.

Gods I would lose it if one of our guys won a Cy Young.
Nathan Eovaldi and Tyler Mahle are the only pair of teammates left this season with a sub-2 ERA (min. 40 IP)
