It didn't look too bad, and he remained on the bench for the remainder of the period, but did not return for the second or third. Hopefully it's minor.

I thought the season from hell was over, guess not
He’ll be fineee (please god)
Cut my life into pieces.
Rather it be now than during the season

Poor conditioning throughout the year will lead to injuries. Unfortunate that it happened in the offseason
To add a bit of reality to the situation…
Switzerland had a 3-0 lead midway through the second period and eventually ended the second period with a 4-0 lead. I don’t think the Swiss would have wanted to send Hischier out given that it was looking like a blowout.
Further, this is only the round robin portion of Worlds, and the remaining teams on Switzerland’s schedule are “easy” teams, so if Hischier doesn’t play I don’t think its indicative of the severity of the injury. He doesn’t necessarily have to play for Switzerland to win those matches. They currently sit atop of their group anyway.
I’m going to choose to believe they didn’t want him to come out because it was precautionary and there was no need for it given this is still the qualifying part of Worlds.
Let’s wait for official news from the Switzerland camp before anything. They play again tomorrow though I wouldn’t be shocked if Hischier doesn’t play tomorrow.
Unfortunate truth, but Nico and Jack are injury prone. Might not be what people want to hear, but it’s the truth and they need to somehow work on this because its starting to worry me.

Really didn’t look horrible. Let’s remain positive.
