Sarah, what’s up? Welcome in. Okay, where are we going to start? Where are we going to start? Let’s start first on the other side of the nation getting it done early. It was the Edmonton Oilers. Big shout out to the Oiler fans out there. Phenomenal game. The Oilers clinching that series. They moved on. That was absolutely wild. And then a big shout out Freddy Anderson and the Carolina Hurricanes send in the Washington Capitals going bye-bye. Bye-bye. Great eight. Going to go play some pinball. See you later. Oh, that made me so happy. And David, David, I know you’re listening. David, I know you’re listening. All the trash talking every single game with the creativity. I like it. But who’s out before Toronto? The Washington Capitals. Just saying. But we’re still friends. It’s all good. And how about Dem Winnipeg Jets getting it done with the Yes last night. 4 nothing. The Jets trying to stay alive. 3-2. Dallas has the lead in that series. Is this second round not unbelievable hockey or what? This is why we love it. Hockey kid, what’s going on? You don’t have to spam. I got you there. But welcome in. Welcome in. Oh, hey. That’s okay. We’re going to see. We’re going to see. It’s going to be a big one here tonight. Pulli, how’s it going? Jerry, what’s going on? Welcome in. Frey, how’s it going? James, what’s shaking? Holy smokes. I’m I’m so amped up for this one. And with good reason because we see good things happening everywhere. Now, good things did not happen a couple nights ago. We know that. We have to speak to it. We don’t want to, but we have to speak to it. If you watched any of the postcame interviews, well, they did not go well. Nobody had anything good to say, and rightly so. There was nothing good to talk about. But that is behind us now. That is behind us now. It’s a new day. It’s a new day. It’s a new day. Yes, it is. And this is going to be a good one. Randy, what’s going on? I hope so. Bam. Bam. What’s going on? Welcome in. So, what do the Leafs got to do tonight? Anything other than what they did last game. The complete opposite. it would be outstanding. But we are going to see and let’s go over a couple of things getting ready for tonight’s game. Now, of course, I got to let you know. I got to let you know. Thank you, Gideon’s Tail, hitting that follow. Thank you so much. I’ll let you know. Just by hanging out, just by being here and watching along in the chat, you’re earning points. You’re earning points. Who doesn’t love points? YouTube, check your points at any time by doing exclamation mark points in the chat. You’ll see later on a bunch of commands that you can redeem to bring those ones up a little bit later. Ben, they got to they got it for sure. Jonathan, what’s going on? Monica, how’s it going? Welcome in. So, you you’ll figure out the whole point system as we go. Now, I know there’s a lot of Panther fans here. I know there’s a lot of Leaf fans here. We want to enjoy this game together. So, I don’t care who you’re cheering for. Whether it’s the Panthers, whether it’s the Maple Leafs. Heck, maybe you’re just here cuz it’s a hockey game and you’re still mad that Phoenix Coyotes move to Utah and you want to cheer for the Coyotes. Absolutely. We love it. Feel free to drop your Go Leafs go. Go Cats go. Go Thrashers go. Whoever you’re cheering for, drop it in there. If you’re going to chirp, be creative. But please, please, for the love of the hockey gods, be creative in your chirps. And if you’re going to chirp, expect to get chirped back. That’s how these things work. You say leaf suck, I say cats suck. You know, we get creative. We go back and forth. I’m really tired of being a lot of leaf hate out there for people who want to chirp but don’t have thick skin to get chirped back. Like if you’re gonna say something bad and you have the logo of another team in your, you know, your logo, like the guy who had the San Francisco 49er logo there saying Leaf fans were delusional, which we could be, but as a 49er fan, check yourself. And when somebody calls you on it, don’t freak out. Just saying. All right, Michael, how’s it going? Welcome in. Beverly, welcome in. Rob, how’s it going? Diana, how’s it going? Welcome in. everybody. All right, let’s get to the good stuff. Now that we got that stuff out of the way, let’s go. Here are some numbers, some facts. We’re going to get to the lineups in just a heartbeat. So, please bear with me. We got to do this stuff. Kop, what’s going on? Go CF. Oh, can’t wait for CFL. Paul’s shaking. Now, here’s some trends. Some trends going on in the league right now. Panthers are the only Okay, hockey kid. Holy smokes, dude. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. It’s that easy. Bigger Foot, what’s going on? Nick, what’s up? Welcome in. Billy, how’s it going? Welcome in. Oh, so many folks coming in. I appreciate it. I’ll be right with you. We’ll be a little slow with the responses cuz I’m I I want to go through the stuff. So, bear with me. Hang on there. It’s also really hard to see the chat. It’s like I wish I could make it black instead of white cuz on the white jersey, it’s hard to see. All right, let’s go. Mark, how’s it going? Here’s some stats. League trends. The Panthers are the only remaining team that has won the Stanley Cup in the past 18 postseasons. Right, that’s going back to 2007. The six team still in contention combined for only 56 championships in the NHL’s expansion era. The only remaining club with multiple cup wins in that span are the Edmonton Oilers. And you know when the Edmonton Oilers last won a Stanley Cup? 35 years ago. 35 years ago. So the Oilers, they’re looking to get it done. So are the Maple Leafs and they’re going to look to extend today. Sam Cherry, Mr. Ben, that is a very big compliment. Thank you, my friend. Now, if we look at 2025, the Stanley Cup playoffs mark the fourth conference final semi-final since 1980 to feature both finalists from the previous season. That’s right, both finalists from the previous season. still alive. The Oilers um or the others, excuse me, 2009 saw Detroit, Pittsburgh 91, Edmonton and Boston, and then 84 the Islanders in Edmonton. So, that’s pretty cool. Uh TWW, we’re going to get to that in just a minute. Just a minute. Uh players are going to hit the ice. They’re still doing warm-ups, so we got a little bit of time, not to worry, but we’re going to get to the lineups in just a minute. The other interesting thing, defensemen have combined for 69 goals in the Stanley Cup finals. the most at this stage of the postseason since 2014 when there were 70 through 67 games. Thank you for hitting that subscribe, Mary. Welcome in. Meadows, how’s it going? Now, how do you score goals? Use your defenseman. We saw the last game the Florida Panthers scored a bunch of goals from their defenseman. The games Toronto has been winning, whether it was the first two in this series or against Ottawa, they were getting production from their defenseman. You know what they haven’t been doing the last few games? Using their defenseman. So hopefully they’ll go back to that game plan. I don’t want to say it’s that simple, but it’s really that simple. Now these playoffs can mark the third postseason since 1980 to feature three teams making consecutive conference final semi-finals appearances. In 2021, it was the Islanders, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Vegas Golden Knights, and in 1992, it was Boston, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Edmonton. Pretty pretty cool stuff. Let’s get to the important stuff. Who’s playing? Who’s not playing? We’re going to start with the Florida Panthers. We’re going with the Cats first because they are the home team. We’ll give them that respect at least until puck drops. Yesper Boquist is going to be back in here with Alex Barkoff and Sammy Reinhardt. Carter Verhagy going to be with Sam Bennett and Matty T. Matt Kachchuck. Listster Ryan going to be with Landell and Brad Marshon. Then we got Gdovy with No Seek and AJ Greer. On the D side, Forsling and Ekblad, Mikola and Seth Jones, Schmidt and Kulakov, and no doubt Bobcop back and ready for due. Sergey Bobski is back in it. And Bovski, my goodness, he was lights out ridiculous in the last game. Broski was absolutely crazy out of this world. In fact, he put up such unbelievable numbers. He set a record in the last game. I don’t know if you all know this, Bobski set a record. And I just had it here. What did I do with it? But it was shut out minutes. Shutout minutes for Bowski. Here it is. 143 minutes and 25 seconds. A franchise playoff record straight shutout minutes starting in game three and ending uh in 1854 of game five when Nikki Robertson scored. So huge huge there beating the mark of John Van Beesbrook who did it in 1996. That is wild. Now Evan Rodriguez obviously not back in here. He is not able to go. Still injured from that last hit. Elevate. What’s going on? If you dry your jersey on super steam, it’ll turn the oil. That’s really funny. That’s really, really funny. Daniel, how’s it going? Yanick, welcome in. Okay, so let’s get to the Maple Leafs. Now, I’m no National Hockey League coach. Just saying. Not a coach. Didn’t coach in the OHL. Never coached in the AHL. In fact, never coached Junior B. Never coached AAA. Never coached DA. But sometimes you don’t have to be a coach to think we’re making a mistake, not really making any kind of significant changes. I also think it might be a partial mistake to take the only player who has scored a goal in the last two and a half games out of the lineup. I’m just saying the one guy who brings you a spark and finds the back of the net, you punish him by saying, “Nick Robertson, why are you scoring goals? We’re going to put you back on the bench.” What the hell are we thinking? But that’s what it’s going to be. Matthew Ny is going to be back with Austin Matthews and Mitch Martyr. Hey, they were so bad the last game. Why break them up? They can’t get any worse. Panis homeberg, he’s going to get a promotion. Apparently, he was an allstar. He’s going to be back with John Tavvaris and William Knander. Bobby McMahon and Max Doi are together. Doi, how many minutes is he going to get today? Four, six, 10. Doy taking too many penalties. Going to be back with the slowest player on the ice. And I’m not talking about the goalenders. I’m talking about Max Patcheri. Why, for the love of God, is Patretti still in this hockey game? Pataretti back in here with Doy and Bobby McMahon. We got Steven Lorent with Scotty Lton and Cali Yarn Croc. Probably going to be the best line here. But maybe we’re wrong. Maybe we’re going to turn it around. Maybe Patre is getting a trick tonight. Maybe Austin Matthews is getting four. Maybe Mitch Mner has going to be playing his last game in a Leaf’s jersey. We’re not going to be thinking about all of those things tonight. We’re going to be saying yes. The superstar core four of Matthews Mner, Tvaris, and Nelander are going to put up five goals tonight. Five goals tonight. Each of them are going to have two plus points. Maybe. You never know. Justin, what’s going on? Welcome in. NHL Sports in the house. Love that old NHL logo. That is sick. But welcome in. So, those are the forwards. The only guy who scores gets demoted. On the D side, Morgan Riley going to be with Brendan Carlo. How many giveaways is Riley having tonight? Is he going to top the four five he had last game? Maybe he’s going to go for double digits. Oh gosh. Morgan Riley, you’re so easy. Such an easy target when you play like that. Jake McCabe and Chris Tan are together. They actually play pretty good. I have no complaints there. Simone and Benwis, who has been my favorite defenseman in these playoffs, is going to be with my second favorite defenseman, Oliver Ecman Larson, and getting the start again tonight. Joseph Wall’s been eating his vitamins, saying his prayers, working out hard. He’s set to go. Joey Wall going to be in net tonight for the Maple Leafs. Darc, what’s going on? Welcome in. Now, we’ve gone way back into the vault. I think you need to wear an Oiler jersey. Don’t mind the lazy Darcy. No kidding. I went way back in the vault for this one. You can see we got the old logo on the front. We got the the Leaf on the side. We went way back. Another Whoops. On this side on this jersey, the Maple Leaf Gardens Dream way back. I’ll give you a hint. We’ll see who can guess. Who can guess the player we’re wearing tonight? We’re going to give you some bonus points to use. Number 21. Number 21. And I’m not even going to give you the year. All I’m telling you is 21. Can you guess who we are winning or who we’re winning? Who we’re wearing tonight? Who are we wearing? All right. Not JVR. Good. Good pick, though. Good pick. Thank you, Travis. Thank you. Sounds like you’re No, not throwing in the towel at all. Just giving them a hard time so that can play. They can fire them up. We found that when we give these a hard guys a hard time in the pregame, they show up. So, we’re trying to go with what works here. We’re trying to go with what works. Jeffrey, thanks so much. Mayor’s going 52. Ooh, SMing. Good pick. Not a Smalling, but good pick. Good pick. Kenny, what’s going on? Jared, how’s it going? Not Sundine, not Neander. Gilmore, keep going back. B, not Bfor. Not I love the Smings. Not Pan. Not did you say Sutter? Sutter. No. Wow. I think maybe maybe Siller. I don’t know. Was Sitler. Sutler. Neither of them are correct. Keep going. Keep going. Daryl Siller. Not Sitler. Love it. McCabe. Not Mab. Oh, Bobby Bond. That would be a good one. No, I’d have to have a broken leg though to wear that jersey. Uh, if you know, you know. Akiberg. I wish I had an Aki Berg jersey. If I had an Aki Berg jersey, I’d wear that everywhere. I just wouldn’t want to pay for an Akieberg jersey. Sanguinette. Oh, that’s amazing. All right, Eminem, what’s going on? Alexander, welcome in. All right, Mike, what’s going on? How long? No, not today. We’re sticking with it. We’ve gone in the vaults. There it is. Thomas for the win. Thomas for the win. I don’t know if you can see it. Kirk Mueller. Kirk Mueller. Nope. I There it is. Kirk Mueller for the win way back. And there’s a story. Dave Vellet. I wish we’re going Captain Kirk. Kirk Mueller. And I tell you, the day I got this jersey, he was traded. I literally picked it up from the store and heard on the news that Kirk Mueller was no longer a Toronto Maple Leaf. I said, “Are you kid?” Mega, mega shame on you. Shame on you. Who’s Kirk Mueller? Google him. Google him. Who’s Kirk Mueller? Oh. Oh, that’s funny. Kirk Mueller was awesome. Kirk Mueller. Listen, he he was a longtime Montreal Canadian. Yes, indeed. But he was an absolute beast. Thank you for that follow, Avocado. Welcome in. Go Leafs. Go, go, Leafs. Go. Kirk Mueller. A little bit about him. He’s a Kingston boy. Who loves Kingston boys? Mr. Cherry Taylor. How’s it going? Vi, what’s going on? Welcome in. He’s 6 foot, 205, Kingston, Ontario. He was awesome. Played for the Devils, played for the Canadians, played for the Islanders. He only played a couple of seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Only a couple of seasons. Then he went to play with the Florida Panthers and the Dallas Stars. Kirk Mueller played 1349 games. He had just about a thou just under 1,000 points, 959. He had uh 1228 penalty minutes, but Kirk Mueller was a solid solid leader. He was awesome when it came to the playoffs. He didn’t get to play a ton of playoff games. He didn’t get to play a ton, but he got some done. 127 playoff games. who scored 33 points, 36 assists for about 69 points, 153 penalty minutes. This guy was a heart and soul. He had eight game-winning goals, four overtime winning goals. He was a true leader and a passionate hockey player. Love me some Kirk Mueller, so that’s why we got to go with him tonight. Uh been uh been a Leaf fan since silly. There you go, Mary. Been to the gu. Yes. Way back to the Maple Leaf Gardens. The garden days were awesome. They were absolutely incredible. All right, so there it is. We’ve gone over the stories. We’ve gone over the lineups. If you missed it, Nick Robertson, the only big change tonight. He is out of the lineup. Pati down to the third line. Ponis Homeberg up to the second line. Cali Yarnrock is going to slot back in. Mark, what’s going on? Welcome in. David, welcome in. Welcome in everybody. Now, we’re putting positive vibes out there. This series has been so up and down. It’s been wild. We’ve seen a lot of no calls. We’ve seen a lot of these going on. We saw a lot of these going on. Both teams have been missed calls. Both teams have been dirty. Both teams have been not playing their best. However, the Florida Panthers are winning because why? They’re utilizing the boards. If you pay attention, the puck goes around the boards. The Panthers are picking them up with ease off the boards. They’re using the boards to move the puck around. Toronto struggling along the boards. Their board battles have not been good. That is one area. If Toronto wants to compete tonight, they need to win along the boards. The board battles is going to be absolutely massive tonight. Massive. Now, point number two, using your defenseman. The Florida Panthers are using their defenseman all the time. They’re getting in, they’re dropping it back, they’re shooting the puck. Toronto needs to utilize their defense. That’s going to be point number two. When it comes to special teams, we know there’s going to be a lot of special teams play. Toronto needs to capitalize on those opportunities like they did in the first round. They’ve struggled here. Florida has been doing a much better job. Now, last but not least, Eric, how’s it going? Welcome in. Major, welcome in. No blind behind the back triple axle spin passes. Look where you’re passing the puck. Mitch Marner, Austin Matthews, I’m talking to you two. Don’t get on the boards and blindly go, “Hey, this isn’t the NBA. Well, you’re doing one of these, right? You got to look where you’re passing the puck. So many goals off blind giveaway passes. We need to do this. Stanley. Uh-uh. Not going to happen. We’re taking this to game seven. We’re going to game seven. This is going to be the best final of the series. The best series to close it out. Toronto, Florida banging and crashing tonight. Toronto is going to come out stronger than they ever have before. They are going to go back to their roots. They might be banged up. They might be bruised. And so is the Panthers. So are all these teams. But you know what’s hurting more than anything right now is the mental game of Toronto. Their egos are hurt. Austin Matthews cannot score a goal right now if he paid everyone to stand out of the way. Austin Matthews cannot put it in. Mitch Marner has not been able to get him the puck. These guys are going to come in and prove their worth today. Why? Because their future in Toronto, I’m convinced, hangs on this particular game. If they lose, even if it’s by one goal in the triple overtime, Mitch Marner will not be back in Toronto. I’m convinced of this. Austin Matthews days will probably start to be numbered. Meaning, I bet you we’re going to find out he has some bad wrist or back injury, something, and he’s going to go for surgery, and all of a sudden, what we knew of Austin Matthews scoring 69 goals in a season, is going to fade away. Fade away. Hey, you know the song. Some of these other players, John Tavvaris, if they lose tonight, probably will not return. Toronto will have a lot of serious decisions to make. Thank you for that share. I appreciate it. Tonight is what it all comes down to. They need to really understand what they are getting involved with in this hockey game. Now, we’re probably about 10 minutes away from the anthems. They must be sitting there. Stenson, how’s it going, Stenson, welcome in. This is, I think, the first time I’ve seen you since you joined the membership. Thank you so much, Stenson, for joining as our champion member. We got lots to talk about. Um, but Stenson, if you are on the Discord, uh, one of the mods, if you could drop the Discord link in there, come into our Discord, so we can, uh, we can chat there or, uh, I’ll, uh, I’ll, I’ll find a way to connect with you. But yeah, as a champion member, you get a bunch of perks. I definitely want to talk to you about some of them. Tori, how’s it going? Welcome in. Just a bat boy. How’s it going? Welcome in everybody again. Thank you so much for being here. RK, what’s going on? Hayden, hello there. James, greetings and salutations. Good to see you. Welcome in, Jay. How’s it going? We are minutes away from getting this one rocking. Now, of course, you guys are crushing those likes. Thank you so much. Make sure you hit those subscribes as well. Really, really appreciate everybody’s support over these playoffs. We’re going to be here a whole lot down the next stretch. We do have a a couple of conflicts we’re going to work around, but it’s going to be all good. Whatever. Good to see you. Welcome in, Len. How’s it going? And of course, a lot of new folks here tonight. So, you’ll see people like Len dropping in the chat. Exclamation mark points. Well, what does that mean? That means that you can check how many points you’ve earned. And you earn points just for chatting along, just for being here in the chat. Then with those points, you’ll kind of see as we go, you can bring up on the screen all kinds of graphics and ways to play along at home. Tyson, thank you for the follow. Really appreciate it. Thank you everybody for getting her done. All right, so we’ve talked about the players tonight. We’ve talked about what they need to do, some keys to the game. How about them goalenders? Joseph Wall, two and three, a 4.02 goals against and an 877 save percentage. That is not good. Gideon’s Tail, what’s going on? Go Leafs go. He’s got to be better tonight. But you know what? I’ll be honest with you. I’ll be honest with you. He hasn’t been bad. Joseph Wall hasn’t been bad. The team in front of him has been bad. Trav, what’s up? Welcome in. Joseph Wall, yes, he made a mistake. Yes, he missed one. He reached for it with his glove, but he hasn’t been the cause of a lot of the goals. So, we’re going to give Joey Wall the break cuz I don’t think those numbers really reflect his true ability if the team was playing well in front of him. Bobski, on the other hand, has been stealing games left, right, and center. 73 and0 with 2.6 six goals against an 895 safe percentage, two shut outs, but you know what? An 895 safe percentage. That’s not good. That’s not good. You want to be 910, 915, that’s good. 895 means they’re giving up goals. They’re giving up goals. Now, goals for the Florida Panthers at about 3.9, about four goals for a game. Toronto, they’re at 3.0. On the other side, goals against Florida 2.6. Toronto 3.27. And of course, these numbers really skewed over the last couple of games. On the power play, Florida’s 23.5% success rate. Toronto is 22.9 on the penalty kill. Florida one of the best in the league. They’re in second place. Lauren, how’s it going? Welcome. 88.9% on the penalty kill. That’s why Toronto had such a tough tough time. Kirstson, there he is. Welcome in. Go Niners. Welcome in, bud. Good to see you coming in to talk some trash. I love it. Just be respectful. We’re gonna have some fun. JRocks, what’s going on? Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Welcome in, Wayne. Good to see you. Toronto on their penalty kill. They haven’t been brutal. They haven’t been bad. Just shy 80%. 78.8%. We’ll take that. We’ll take that. In the faceoffs, Toronto the best team in the league. 56.8% in the faceoff circle. Florida Panthers 46. Toronto can win the draw, but they need to win it when it matters. They need to win it when it matters. That’s what it’s going to be all about. Happy MCA, welcome in. That’s a great photo, by the way. Great photo. Win or lose. Win or lose, Lee fans. That’s what we we’re here for. That’s why we love our team. We love to cheer them when they’re up high. We love to boom when they’re down low. But we show up day after day. Special K, thank you so much. We show up day after day to cheer them on. We show up day after day to cheer on the boys in blue just like the Panthers do for their team. Just like the Oilers do, just like the Jets fans do, just like the Capitals fans do. We all love our teams. We all feel like they could do it. The way Toronto came out and played in the first series was absolutely incredible. Thank you for hitting that subscribe, JRock. Appreciate it. Amber Alert for Austin Matthews. Oh, could you imagine? Uh all of a sudden the TVs go off. We got that Amber Alert for Austin Matthews. Somebody in the government would be getting fired. Some in the government. Somebody in the cable company would be getting fired. All right, they’re going to switch it over now. We are just moments away from the anthems. Chris, how’s it going, Dan? Welcome in. Toronto is should be one of the best in the league. Toronto, Edmonton, Stanley Cup finals. That’s what dreams are made of. Will we see it? Time will tell. Toronto two big games to win. If Toronto can somehow someway find a way to remember how to shoot the puck and win hockey games, if they can take this one home, bring it to Toronto for game seven, I strongly believe in my heart the Leafs will win this series. There’s a big party at the Scotia Bank Arena tonight. They’ve lowered the scoreboard. They’re all there to watch it. They are fired up just like we’re fired up here. It’s going to be a big crowd in Florida. A lot of Leaf fans making the trek down south to go to the Amarant Arena, which by the way, Amarant Arena in Florida is absolutely gorgeous. We’ve been there a number of times. If you’ve never seen it, you got to check out one of our stadium tours. We have a video posted, a live stream actually posted where we did that. So, regardless what happens, we have to give a big shout out to all the staff, all of our friends down at the Amarant Arena, especially in the Corona Beach Club. They are amazing. Everybody around that arink around that arena from the the ushers to security to the people in the stores, the food booths, everyone was so awesome. And uh if you’re ever going to the Amarant Arena, they have probably the best soft ice cream in an arena I’ve ever had and a lot of it. Dave, what’s going on? Welcome in. Oh, Dave, I was talking about you earlier. It’s me. I’m a Hurricanes fan now. Dave, I was wondering what you were going to do with the Capitals getting knocked out. Oh, Dave, that must have stung. I you know, all all your amazing chirps. And Dave, I give you such credit for your creativity. But whose team lasted longer? Whose team lasted longer? It might be over tonight, but we still lasted longer than the Washington Capitals. It makes me smile. But I love you, Dave. Always so much fun chirping with you. I appreciate you very, very, very much. All right, let’s get this one going. They’re getting ready to come on the ice. are getting ready to get it started. Let me tell you how we’re going to be watching this tonight. How you’re going to be seeing this one go, Jonathan. Yes. Yes. I love that one. One of my favorite little redemptions that you can bring up and cheer along with. Oh, that’s awesome. And again, I know you folks can’t see a lot of the graphics and stuff, but uh we’ll make sure we have you covered as well. Leafs will win tonight. Matthews will score. Willie, Willie, I hope so. Glenn, how’s it going? Welcome in. Second favorite team overall. However, I made the comment when Tio was two games to zero. Yeah, it’s been a little bit of a turn since then. Oh my goodness. Christa, how’s it going? Welcome in. All right, let’s get things organized here. Let’s talk about what we’re going to see and what things are going to look like. First and foremost, up here, right above our heads, we’re going to have our scoreboard. So, you’re going to see the score big, bright, no problem. Down here in the middle, this is going to show you where all the shots are coming from. We’ll be able to tell the strategies. Are they using their defense? Are they not? Are they jamming the net? Are they shooting from odd angles? We’ll see all of that. And of course, be able to break down where the goals are coming from. Down here at the elbow room, this is going to show you who has the puck, where it’s moving, who’s attacking, who’s defending, and all that fun stuff. And last but not least, over on the far side is going to show you who’s on the ice, and what their stat lines are. We’re getting things ready to go inside the Amarant Arena building. So, we’re gonna bring this to you. Get buckled up. It’s almost go time. Thank you everybody for hitting those subscribes. And welcome tonight’s hero among us. Korean War veteran, torpedo men’s mate, petty officer, third class John Frank, United States Navy. Excellent. We had somebody here the other day who is 101 years old. [Applause] Please rise and remove your caps. Here to perform O Canada and the Star Spangled Banner, please welcome Fair who Oh Canada, our home and land. Glorious and free. Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee. Oh Canada, we stand on thee. Well, that was all right. Little shaky, but not bad. Not bad. Oh, say can you see by the dawn early light what so proudly we held at the twilight last gleaming who broad stripes and bright stars through The perilous fight or the ramparts we watched were so gallently streaming [Music] [Applause] and the bombs burst gave gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say that star [Music] spangled away for the lamb. of the free. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] All right, the anthems are done. The beer stations are now closed as it’s too late to serve. Holy smokes. Bleeding Gums Murphy version here yet again. That’s Florida’s strategy. They’re trying to put Toronto to sleep by singing the anthem for 25 minutes. Good effort though. Good effort. So, we’re going to see wherever we get to. The Matthews line going to be on here tonight. Matthews probably will be up against the Brad Marshon line as that’s the line that’s been all over them this series. A great matchup Paul Maurice has and it is Listster Rin and Lundell and Brad Marshawn against the top line for Toronto. And right off the draw, Marshawn is going to throw this one right on Joey Wall. Off the draw, it’s sitting there. Toronto Carlo going to put it to the side. Homeberg going to carry this one up. Homeberg bringing it up. Quick shot on, but going to steer that aside. Leo, how’s it going? Welcome in. Toronto along the boards again. Trying to work it. This time they do get it out. Hey TJ, welcome. Lorent’s going to play this one to Yarn Croc and they’re going to play it all the way back. Fourth line coming on here. Good first shifts by everybody. OG, what’s up Danny? Ecman Larson off the board’s going to tip it down into the Florida zone. Over to Mikola. He’s going to play this around Nelander up to the center ice line. Tavvaris and Homeberg collide. Homeberg just now getting back on his feet. This being dumped in the corner. Ecman Larson going to chip it ahead. Benis there. Homerg going to help him out. Long pass trying to hit Nelander who was by the red line. That misses. No icing call in the corner. Jones going to throw this around over to the near side. Picked up and Florida with these long passes. This one misses everybody. And this should have been an icing call but no icing called. Toronto holding on to it. Patcher ready long cross ice pass. Doi going to spin around a hit. Putting this one in. McMahon trying to trap it. Patch ready coming in. McMahon plays it to Tanv. Long shot that gets blocked. Toronto going to hold this one in. Nobody here on the near side to pick it up. Florida plays it back out. Tanv tried to put it around Kachchuck. He couldn’t do it. T going to keep this one in. Florida right up the middle. Here’s a shot by Bennett right into the logo of Joseph Wall and he’s going to hang on to it. Wow. Big big playing back and forth. Both teams really motoring. Wow. One shot a piece right now, but a good good solid start to this game. Toronto not letting Florida push them around. They’re keeping up pace of play, but Florida again early here in this game are working the boards far better than Toronto. Toronto’s got to get that board game figured out. Randoir, how’s it going? Welcome in. Pace off in the Maple Leafs zone off the draw. Leaf’s going to play it to Carlo. He gets it to the line. Forsling taking a shot. That goes wide. Lorent can’t get over to the line fast enough. Over to the boards behind the net. Carlo working. He’s going to play this one around. Toronto going to chip this one free. It’s going to come all the way down and this is going to not be icing again. Refs not calling anything. Even the icings. This going to be bounced back. Toronto steals it in the Florida zone. Putting it off the boards. Lorent going deep for Lton. Lton with the puck. Forsling takes it away from him as Eklad came in to help out. Greer moves it towards the middle of the ice and the Cats getting it down now. This one should be icing and it is icing. So, this is coming all the way back to the Panther side. Wow. Good start. Hot start to this hockey game. We love it. Absolutely. No one to welcome in. No Robertson. No. That’s right. If it’s all because Robertson scored. If he didn’t score, he’d still be in this game. But welcome in everybody. Thanks for being here. Thanks for joining. Make sure you’re hitting that like button. Keep those likes going. But hit those subs. Keep those subscribes going. 24 away from 27100. Here’s Ben Wah off the draw putting it just wide at 87 mph. Ecman Larson keeping it in. I love the shot from the point. We didn’t see a lot of that last game. Allan, how’s it going? B. Disney, what’s up? Tory, what’s up? Gerard, what’s up? Here’s Matthews again. Takes a shot. It gets blocked. And we got a call. We got Greer down on all fours. Penalty is coming up. So Greer is and it’s going to be Benis going to the box. Oh my goodness. He-Man’s dad. What’s up Tanya? What’s going on? So off the draw, they did a good job getting this back, but I’d like to see this penalty cuz I didn’t see it on the initial the initial call. So it’s going to be interference. Benois a little too eager to get up here on his man. Up, up, down, down. What’s going on? They trained hard yesterday. They trained hard this morning. They’ll play hard tonight and win. Hey, you never know. Up, up, down, down. You never know. All right, so penalty for the Maple Leafs. Florida. They’re going to win this draw. Panthers on the power play. Here’s Verhaggy down low side of the net. Back up to Verhaggy. Verhagy behind the net. Reinhardt cycling it around far side. Here’s Barkoff. Back up to Kachchuck. Down to Jones. Jones at the blue line. Looks off for Hegy. Giving it to Barkoff. Barkoff shoots. Puck is down in front. Kachchuck digging for buried treasure. McCabe says, “Not here you don’t.” And that’s going to be broken up very quickly. Joseph Wall making a nice little stop there. Very, very important play. Very important play. Toronto needs to be very strong on this penalty kill. Something they have struggled with. They really have. All right, faceoff scramble going to be kicked back. Florida wins another important draw. Working this far side getting over Barkoff in front of the net. Nobody has him. Shot came in. I think it hit him in the back. Lton can’t clear. Over to Verhagy on the far side of the ice sending it around. Barkoff trying to chip it in front. Taniff steals. Barkoff taking it back. Lton was waiting. Missed it. Coming across far side. Here’s a wrist. That one is fanned on McCabe. He chips at it. Coming to the line. held in over to Reinhardt moving it up. Quick pass to Verhagy. He bobbles it and shoots. Tanv went down for the block and this going to come all the way around. One minute left to go on the penalty kill. Absel, how’s it going? Welcome in. Oh, I’m I’m glad you recognized it and came here. Did What’s going on? Oh, you don’t want to go there. You don’t want to go there, Sid, for a number of reasons. But let’s not let’s not mention that in the chat. Cottaging, how’s it going? Welcome in. We don’t hide. We don’t hide. This is going to be dumped in down around in the corner. Back around Florida trying to get this one through. Trying to flip this one and all the way down. Wow. My goodness. Make sure that notification is turned on. and you’ll get that notification. You’ll come right here. Barov going to dump it in. 10 seconds to go. 10 seconds to go. This in the corner. Florida bouncing it back to the point. Here’s a shot right at the end of the power play. 3 seconds to go. It’s down in front. Florida can’t get it. Leaf’s going to clear. There you go. Penalty has expired. Back to even strength. Five on five hockey. Let’s go. CLA Coen. Welcome in. Leaf’s going to walk through down in front. Homeberg going to drop. Here’s a shot by Tavvaris. That one goes wide. Pinching in is Carlo. His shot. Tvaris has it. One shot, two shots. Can’t get him through. Boquist going to pick it up. Going to play this one to the line. Trying to curl it around. Let’s go Leafs. Neander going to play this one up. Homeberg bringing it in. He takes a bump by Forsling. Keeps going. Sharp angle shot. That’s going to go high and wide. Carlo at the point. He shoots. Trickles aside. Homeberg puts it. Oh my goodness. Just through. And that goes wide. Wow. Bringing this one back aside. Come on. Let’s go. Oh, James, I forgot to post one. My bad. Let’s get that up. Thank you for acknowledging. I totally forgot. Here’s Florida. Kulakov gonna bring it up. Bouncing it off the boards. No score. No score with 11 and 1/2 minutes to go. This down around at the side. Cat’s going to work it back to the point. Another shot. That one’s going to be blocked. Back to the point again. Here’s Jones looking. He’s going to shoot again. It’s deflected. Going to be tipped away as Reinhardt was right there. What a play by Max Stoi. Huge defensive effort there. Huge defensive effort. Kathleen, how’s it going? Welcome in. Just keep shooting. Just keep shooting. Verhigy setting this around. Jones at the point again. Florida’s really been owning the Leaf zone right now over the last couple minutes down in the corner. A trip there and another penalty upcoming to Toronto and it’s going to be a trip. We’ve seen this story before. Ecman Larson is going to go. Verhagy is laughing as he goes away. Toronto started the last game in Florida with four straight penalties. Hopefully that’s not going to be the case here, but right now it is too. absolutely gets the blade of the stick on the skate and pushes it. Takes him down. So, the Maple Leafs go right back to the box. Florida right back to the power play. We talked about it in the opening. You got to stay out of the box. D, thank you so much. CD, welcome in. I hope so. I hope so. 0 is the current score. What a start. It’s been back and forth, back and forth. Not a lot of shots though. Only a couple of shots each period or each period. Each team, a couple of shots, each team, two shots a piece. Florida, they did go 0 for one on that first power play. We’ll see what Toronto can do here. Sam, how’s it going? Welcome in. Toronto comes back to win the series. How do you think they’ll fare against the Hurricanes? Sam, that’s going to be a very different series. And for both these teams, whoever goes to play the Hurricanes, the Hurricanes are a runand gun type of team. They’re not a bang and crash like the Panthers. So, I think Toronto actually suits up very nicely against Carolina because it’ll be more open ice. It’ll be a lot of flying around. Um, it’s going to be Carolina is a a fast shooting team though. They’re fast and they got a good shot. So, Toronto needs to play solid, but they are going to be tired from this series. Dan coming in with that freeze. Thank you, Dan, hitting that freeze. But hey, even if Florida moves on, you know, Florida is a complete opposite of Carolina. They’re going to go in and do to them just like they’re doing to Toronto. Hit, hit, hit, hit, hit and try to scare that team away from going near the puck. Toronto needs to understand in this game, they’re going to get hit. They’re going to get hit hard. You have to take the hit and make the play. It’s going to be very important. If they shy away from the puck every time, they’re going to be in big trouble. And big trouble real real fast. But welcome in everybody again. Thank you so much for joining us here today. It’s a big game. I’m glad you are here with us. We need all the help we can get for our boys in blue. Let’s get this one going back from commercial break. Face off in the Toronto zone. Ecman Larson in the box. Panthers winning another draw. Florida working it at the side. Verhagy, he’s going to backhand this to the point. Jones cross ice. Barov looking down low now. Looking back over to Jones. Has to back all the way up. gives it to Jones. Jones coming up to Verhy in the center for Kachchuck. He bobbles it and Matthews couldn’t clear. He’s able to bring it behind the net. Verhagy takes it away. He’s going to send it over to the far side. Uh Barkoff bobbles it there. And this Marner is going to get it all the way down the ice. So not not a good not a good bobbly action here for the Panthers. They’re going to have to control this puck. Here comes Reinhardt up to the red line dumping it in. Faceoffs are now 50/50. Toronto Toronto five on five are winning lots of draws but short-handed they’re not winning any. Here’s Barkov a shot deflection for Haggy can’t jam that one in. Toronto behind the net going to put it around the boards not hard. Kachchuck he tries to center it. This is stalled. Toronto Benwis fans on the clear out attempt. Florida keeps this one in. Here’s a shot by Barkov down in front. Florida trying to jam it in. They play it back to the point. Nobody is there as everybody had pinched up and this going to come out and all the way down. No score modem. No score. 0 0 is the score. 43 seconds left in the Toronto power play. Florida going to work this one up the ice. Bennett going over to the far side into the zone. Toronto going to steal. Look out. They play it right in the middle and they’re able to just clear this one down. That one worried me for a second. 27 seconds. Schmidt going to pick this one up. Schmidt carrying this one up to the blue line. Dropping it back. The lovely power play drop back. Bennett carrying in. Trying to hit Marian. misses. Tanv goes behind the net to McCabe. McCabe plays it out for Lton. Lton did a very good thing right there. He did not wait for the puck to get to him because it wouldn’t have made it. He turned his course. He changed. Went back and got the puck and was able to clear it. Heads up hockey play there by Scotty Lton. And that’s going to do it. Power play has expired. Back to five on five. Here’s Bennett coming up with a hit on Matthews. Martyr to Matthews shooting that goes just wide. Hit the bloody net, Austin. It’s the thing with the red posts coming out in front Toronto. Matty Ny. Oh, and a great stop by Boaroski with his leg. This over to Mner to the point. Carlos sending it across back in the middle for Matthews. He turns and just shoots it. Mner picking this one up. Marner to the point. Riley with a shot. It’s knocked down. Bosski way into the net and N couldn’t pick it up. Schmid is going to flip this one up. Riley fans on the puck. He’s got to back up and get it. He’s going to put it behind the net to Carlo. Carlo back to Riley now. The Leafs are going to start it up again. Second line coming in. Long pass is going to miss its intended target. No icing call. Mika going back for it. Here comes the forch check. No seek going to work it around Homeberg in Florida. Verhakey going to dump this one in now. Reinhardt in the corner gets tied up. Toronto look out. Homeberg didn’t move the puck quick enough. Ecman Larson back to pick it up. Here they come through the middle. This one is intercepted. Homeberg couldn’t move it. Now Toronto brings it back. Ecman Larson to Tavvaris. Back to Knander. Knander. He shoots to Flection. Rebound is in front. Get it. They can’t. Florida gonna bring this one out. A quick swipe of the stick is going to knock this one away. Carlo trying to work this one through. Holy smokes. End to end action. Here we go. Toronto bringing it right back in. Pinching it along the boards. Forsling takes down McMahon. No call stolen by Doy. Doy coming in. He centers it back. And that misses everybody. Holy. They’re getting closer and closer. 711 left to go in this first period. If you’re just coming in, hit that subscribe. Let’s go. Carlo going to work it around. Toronto going to get this one out and down the ice. Florida bad pass. Doi going to intercept. Doy in the corner. He’s got McMahon. Sends it in front. That doesn’t connect. Pati couldn’t control. Back to Doy. Doi carrying it around behind. Back up top. Here’s a shot that gets blocked. It’s a scramble in front. Boaroski has it with Leaf players on top of him. And there’s going to be some fit stickoffs as everybody’s throwing them and grabbing someone, trying to move them away from the front of the net as Patretti and Lundelle are going at each other. Wow. What a big shift. Huge shift here for the Maple Leafs. Couple of shifts rolling through the first line with some opportunities. the second line with some opportunities and it’s going to be Bobby McMahon who gets pushed on top of Boaroski. Nowhere to go but down and it just happens to be down on top of Boaroski. I saw a little bit of it, Dan. I didn’t see a lot. We were out last night so I didn’t see a lot of it, but what I saw looked pretty darn good. I tell you, Bobby McMahon has got some jump in his step. Thank you for those follows. Thank you for hitting those likes. Appreciate it very much. Really good pace. Faceoffs though, they’re now 50/50. 50 50 hits. 97. Toronto has the lead in hits there. We already got eight and seven block shots. These two teams have come to play a lot on the line. Greasy hockey time. That’s right, Justin. Greasy hockey time. If this close to getting the thumb print, do it. Do it. Sarah, we’re bad influences. When it comes to food, we’ll say do it all night long. Holy smokes. But welcome and everybody. Thanks for joining us. I hope you’re enjoying our presentation so far of game six. Toronto fighting for their hockey lives. The Florida Panthers looking to book some tickets to the conference final. All about the alternative. What’s going on? Go Leafs. Go. Welcome in. Wow. I’m so impressed with this game. So impressed with this game. That’s right, Jacob. Empty the tank. You got to leave it all on the ice. Don’t worry about game seven. You’ll rest on the plane. You’ll eat those carbs. You’ll get yourself ready to rock. Let’s worry about this one now. Rich, I agree, Rich. I agree so much. All right, coming back from commercial break. Let’s get this one going. Babski has been stealing games. Toronto needs to shut him down. They need to get some pucks past him. By the way, I did see that that sucker punch from Jamie Ben yesterday. That left hook. Jamie Ben should get a game or two for that one, but he won’t. Judy, how’s it going? Yeah, no goal yet. 645 to go. Period number one. Jeff, how’s it going off the draw? It’s a scramble. Toronto going to pull it away back to the point. That one, they should have shot it right away. Ecman Larson going to play it down in the corner. That’s going to get blocked. Going to try again. can’t hit Tvaris. That’s why off these faceoffs he get the puck, shoot the puck. Toronto bringing it in. Going to roll it up on Boi. He plays it to the corner. Marian going off the glass. Knander jumped up, touched it and that’s going to come to Riley and it’s going to be blown down as a glove pass. Glove pass. So, going to get another face off coming up. Mario, how’s it going? Welcome in from the Niagara region. Love Niagara. We were just there not too long ago. Love it. Absolutely love it there. Griff’s getting ready to fight. He’s got Who’s He’s got Rayu. He went up the glass, but Toronto was able to catch it and drop it and then it was touched for the glove pass. This one put around behind the Florida net. Toronto coming in. Mner with a big hit there. Mner, he’s got a stick wrapped around him. He was like in jail. The stick across his chest, but apparently that’s legal. Ecman Larson putting this one across. Shot that goes wide. N going to pick it up. N looking at the point. He’s going to cut back. N trying to walk into the corner. Centers it in front. That’s going to be blocked. Back to the point. Shoot that Eman. He does. Ecman Larson. A nice shot. A nice save. Center it again. Shoot it right away. No, don’t pass it. Ben Wis going to pass this one up to Matthews. Matthews back to the line. Dropping it to Benis. Over to Ecman Larson. Tries to feed it back for Matthews. He didn’t get the memo on that play. Matthews going to turn and shoot. That’s going to go wide. Shocker. Down in the corner. Matthews allergic to hitting the net. Guess he forgot his EpiPen. Toronto can’t get this one out. Florida backing it up. Taking a look over to Mika. Jacked, what’s going on? It wasn’t so much as a can opener. That was like a slow cooker. Had him held up for a long time. Here’s a shot. That one by Verhagy. Goes up and just wide in the corner. McMahon going to pick this one up. Go, Bobby. Go, Bobby. Bobby, you want to go fast, Bobby. Bobby in the corner trying to pick it up. Oh, look at that. Kulakov coming in with a high elbow. Never seen that play before. Down in the corner is Yarn Croak. He’s going to circle trying to put this one back down. Toronto doing a nice job here. Good puck possession. Bobby Mack putting it in front. That’s going to get knocked back down for HGY can’t clear. Bobby steals. Knocked down by Kulakov. Going to play this one up. And here comes Kachchuck. He’s going to look long pass trying to hit for Hegy. That’s too far. And it’s going to be an icing call. And we’re going to slow this one down with 438 to go. 438 to go. You know, it’s funny. Can’t score if you don’t shoot. Ship. You know, it’s almost like Matthews just needs to close his eyes right now. He just needs to close his eyes because looking is not helping. Looking is not helping. Just got to put this one on again. Welcome in. Let’s go. We are 18 subscribers away. Smash that subscribe button for us. Don’t be shy. We’re here all playoffs. Matthews splitting through, cutting down Boaros with a poke check. Mner, he pinches it up in the boards. Matthews gets absolutely flattened in the corner. Setting this one across for Benwis. That’s a missed pass. Benny back with it. Going to come to Ecman Larson. He was going the wrong direction. Picked up here by NY. Ny going to flip it in. They are Everybody’s playing solo games right now. It’s like they’re not on the same page at all. It’s like someone’s playing NHL 25. Someone else is playing NHL 94. These guys got to get back on the same page. Ecman Larson trying to steal it away. Reinhardt has it. Reinhardt going to spin away from Lorent. Lorent doing a nice job on the board. There’s nobody else there. Schmidt going across. Here’s a shot. That one goes wide. Back to the line. Schmidt keeping it in. Ecman Larson, he’s going to pick it up. He’s got room. Going to try and pass this one up. Schmidt is going to steal and send it in. He had half the ice to skate. Instead, he passes it from his faceoff circle to go to the Florida blue line with all the Panthers in between. Why not carry that? Doss. How’s it going? Welcome in. Kulakov behind the net passing this one around trying to come up on here. Leaf’s going to work it back. Ecman Larson bump by nose. moves it to Benois. Benois a long pass putting this one up. Toronto going to chip it in the corner, but Barski tried to stop and he can’t do it. Forsling is back to pick this one up. Forsling is taking a look. Still looking. Now it’s Florida’s turn. 224 to go. 224 to go. Long pass coming up over the line. Toronto waiting. Waiting. Now they’re going to turn and play this back. Look out. We got a lost stick. Patcheri played it back to Tanv. Doi picks up his twig. Back to Patretti who went to tip this one in but he tips it into the Panther bench and we got a break with 210 210 to go. They’re going to go to commercial break. Terry, thank you so much. I appreciate that. Thank you all for the comments. I know we’ve missed a lot but we’re trying to focus on the game and what a game it is. So, let me scroll back here. Andrew, what’s going on? Welcome in. Welcome in everybody. Let’s go. Pull wall. Pull wall. Hello. Wall’s had two shots. Florida has had two shots on that pull wall. I love it. Love it. Uh, good game so far. Yes, Randy. Really good game so far. Laurent, how’s it going? Panthers, they bullied them around. All right, they have bullied them around. Michael, what’s going on? Let’s go, kiddies. They’re, you know, that’s this. You know, when we look at these numbers right now, even though I think Florida has played more time in the Leaf zone. Sandra, how’s it going? Haunted welcome in. Uh Florida has played more time in the Leaf zone. Panthers only have two shots on net. Leafs are doing a really good job taking some of those shots away, blocking shots, forcing the puck to the outside. Toronto is now back up in the lead in the faceoff circle, which is good. Vi, did you take the under? Ah, that’s risky. The way these guys have been scoring, but this is going to be a close one tonight. It is going to be a close game tonight for sure. Um, but yeah, Toronto doing a good job. They’ve got seven shots. Florida only with two. Panthers with two power plays not able to get anything done. No real shots coming in. Oh, Blades of Steel. No one. Blades of Steel was the best. Love Blades of Steel. Jack, thank you so much. I wish that that would be the dream, but I’d have to bring everybody with me. I’d have to bring everybody with me. But holy smokes, what a crazy crazy game. Dolores, how’s it going? Welcome in. Thanks for joining us. Pton, no score yet. 000 is the score. Just coming back from commercial break again. Thank you all for joining us. Keep keep hitting that subscribe button. Make sure your notifications are set so that way you can join us almost nightly. Yeah, Ben, we’ll see. Faceoff is actually going to be at center ice right now. 210 to go. Todd, what’s going on? Off the draw, Toronto going to win this one back. Florida steals, putting it right down in on net. Tanv going to put it around. Here’s McCabe. McCabe goes between the legs. Gives it away. Luckily, Tavvaris going to steal and send this one all the way down the ice. You know, William Knander, as he puts this one over the boards into the leaf bench, William Knander needs to come back a little closer. I understand what he’s doing. Florida’s doing this, too. Florida. Every time the Panthers have it in their own zone, they have two guys floating in the neutral zone. Nelander is floating around that neutral zone for Toronto. Sometimes it’s nice to have all your forwards come back to help out. Shelon, how’s it going? Welcome in Marshmallow. Let’s see. Lori, how’s it going? Welcome in. Sean, welcome in. Florida in the corner trying to play this one up. McMahon doing a nice job. Going to steal coming back in front. They can’t control it. This one comes all the way out. Bobby McMahon doing a really nice job in this game so far behind the on net. Toronto going to work this one up trying to kick this one and get it out. They can’t. Florida bringing it right back in down the middle. Barov fans on it. Maple Leaf’s going to get it out, but another backhanded blind pass. Going to turn it over to Boquist and he’s going to dump this one in. Leaf’s going to play it back behind the net to Riley. Going to set it up. Guys are switching up. My angel dear, hello there Nancy. Hello Beth. What’s going on? Setting this one up. Toronto getting it up to Patretti in over the line, but they’re going to say offside. Offside. Pati kind of arguing there. And I get it. You know, you can now enter the zone before the puck, but you have to have firm control of the puck. And in that hockey play, I don’t think Patretti had firm control of the puck. Andrew, we’re playing okay. We’re playing all right. Sepo, how’s it going? Getting those Mario Powerup shrooms. We need the fireballs. Here’s Schmidt. Maybe the raccoon. Get these guys flying. Last minute to play in this first period. Pati coming in offside again. He shoots it right at the whistle and that’s going to draw a crowd as Lucer Rining comes in and Kulakov come in to have some conversations with Patretti. Patch with a big smile on his face trying to get under the skin. Thank you for hitting that subscribe. 17 subs away from getting to 27100. Jack, what’s going on? He entered the zone a long time ago. Mark, no score. Zero zero as we’re coming to the end of period number one. Make sure to stick around for intermission. We’re going to take a look at the stats of the period. We’re going to talk some hockey. There’s pressure coming down off the draw. Leaf’s going to win this one again. Going to chip this one down in the corner. Here comes the forche. Doi trying to skip around in on Mika. He’s going to spin and go the other way. Loren comes up playing it to the line. Carlo going to keep this one in. Doi looking in front. Tries to get it to Yarn Croc. Had to take it on a backhand. Couldn’t control it. Florida flipping this one up. Ecman Larson. He’s looking going cross ice. Toronto bobbling it. Now they’re going to get this one down again. 30 seconds to go. Povers set it up behind the net. Uh Randy, I don’t have any more. We finished our box. I did have a box. We We completed a set and that’s all I was hoping for. And again, this is going to be offside. 17.5 seconds left to go. Enough time for somebody to get a quick opportunity. 10 goals by the Panthers defenseman. Six different Dmen with a goal for the Panthers. They’re doing it right. They’re doing it right when it comes to utilizing their defenseman in their offensive play. Off the draw. Leaf’s going to win this one back. It splits the defense. McCabe going to put it over to Tanv. Tanv going to take a bump. Getting this one up. Trying to fish this one out. Can’t get it to Lton along the sideboard. 6 seconds to go. Forsling dumping this one in. Al, what’s going on? Welcome in. Fred, how’s it going? Here’s a shot right at the buzzer. Period number one has officially come to an end as there’s a little conversation as Eklad and Kachchuck at the leaf bench with a few words to say. I’m sure they’re just exchanging the recipes. Guys, I got to tell you, you got to try making this at intermission. It’s delicious. All right, let’s get things going. Let’s break this one down. Come on, screens. Don’t fail me now. Why so slow? There we go. The Leafs much much better hop in their step in this game. A much better hop. They’ve actually shown up tonight. Kathy, how’s it going? Welcome in. All right, taking a look. Two two shots for the Florida Panthers. Seven shots for the Maple Leafs. 14 hits for Toronto, 16 now for the Panthers. 11 to five the faceoffs. Toronto 11 to five the faceoffs. The five faceoffs they’ve won. Hey Irene, how’s it going? The five faceoffs that the Panthers have won. I’d be willing to bet four of those were on the two power plays they had. They seem to always win during the power plays. Uh taking a look, no opportunities for Toronto with the man advantage. Two opportunities for the Panthers. They could not connect and get it done. Uh four giveaways for each team. That’s a fair number. That’s a fair number. Good average number right in there. We will take that one. Uh when you take a look at the block shots, 8 to five. So again, putting the bodies on the line. J-Mack, thank you for the follow. So, that is really, really important. They’re using their bodies. This is the point right now. You cannot worry about tomorrow. You have to take the hits, take the bumps, block the shots, do everything. Gamerboy, how’s it going? Welcome in the shots. The Leafs have had two shots from homeberg, one from NY, one from Matthews, one from McMahon, one for Tavaris, none from Doi, Marner, or Knander. They got to get some shots going on. Hits from the forwards. Lorren with three. Lton with two. Patra ready with two. N with one. Homeberg with one. Matthews McMahon and Nelander with a hit. Wow. Mner had a big hit in the corner. Didn’t get credit for it. That’s a disappointment. Anthony, if I did that, they would take my channel down, and I don’t want that to happen. Um, if I would, you know, I absolutely could in a heartbeat. Uh, from the defensive standpoint, the only shot is Brendan Carlo that actually hit the net. A couple of blocks for Tanv, couple for Riley. McCabe and Ecman Larson with some blocks. And then Benois, Carlo, and Ecman Larson the only hits from defenders. Uh Brennan Carlo leading all defenseman right now at 749 of ice time. Ecman Larson in second with 7-Eleven. Morgan Riley second last with 608. The only defender who has less time on ice than Morgan Riley is 602 and that’s Simone Benois. So, very interesting that Riley’s ice time is way down. He’s usually one of the top two players. So, could there be a little bit of punishment going on? We will have to wait and see uh how things go. Oh, yes. Here they come again. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Love it. Love it. Love it. Hey, at least they’re creative. Uh Leaf’s pretty pleased. Prep, what’s going on? Welcome in. We don’t want sand to lose the channel. That would be a big bummer. Exactly, Rob. Exactly. That’s why we have to play by the rules. Uh, thank you Anthony. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. All right. If we take a look at the forwards in terms of ice time, Mner leading the way at 529, Matthews in second at 523. Bobby Mack in third at 5 minutes. N at 443, as is Lton. So, Lton getting some extra time. David, how’s it going? Welcome in. Flying Land, how’s it going? Good to see you. Kyle, what’s up? Thank you very much. Oh, I know. We were cheering for the Habs their whole stretch. I really wanted them to go through. I had a final four of all Canadian teams. Really wish that would have been the the course. Leafs have used three goalies in this series. Last time the Leafs used three goalies in a series was 1981 verse the Islanders. Yes, indeed. And I know Matt Murray got in there. He got in there for a little bit. He got in there for a little bit. Some We kind of forget about that, right? Because that that game is just we just completely forget about it all together. Um, but in this period again, good effort. The pace was was much better. Last game, Toronto could not keep up. They could not keep up. In this game, they absolutely are. They had some big chances. Like I said, seven shots, which is which is excellent. Um, love to see how they get in there and work through. Dan, at least be creative with it, man. At least be creative. Uh, getting Bob’s kitchen. McMahon elbow Barbaroski a little harder. They You know what, John? They They got That’s one thing That’s one thing they haven’t been doing a lot of. They’ve been getting in front of the net, but not in front. You know, they’re giving him space. Donna, how’s it going? Welcome in. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. They got to get in there and not so much about throwing elbows and I don’t want to see him getting knocked around, but get those skates right on that tip of that blue ice. You know, that’s that’s what Bennett has been doing. Kachchuck whenever their guys are getting in front, they’re standing right on that line, right on the top of the crease, not giving Wall a chance to come right up. Now, it’s risky, right? Cuz if if you come to the top and you kind of bump that player and the goalender gets knocked and you score, it’s going to get called back. So, a little risk and reward, but you got to get in there and take those eyes away. Triton coming in seven overtime periods tonight. Triton, thank you for the super chat. And I am a-ok. Okay, they want to go seven. We’re down. We’ll be here for all seven. I got nothing to do in the morning. I was gonna go for a haircut, but hey, if I got to sleep in because we go seven rounds and get that Holyfield knockout, I’ll do it. Let’s go. Oh my goodness. But I hope they don’t. All right, Sam. Let me hear you say, “Ron’t do it. Won’t do it.” Great call. Thank you, Major. I appreciate it. That’s what we’re all about. That’s what we try to do. Try to have fun. Try to bring you the game. Try to be entertaining. Try to have a good time doing it. Andy Blue, what’s going on? Oh, we’ll see you. Too early. Too early. There’s no score. No score, but you never know. Frankie with that follow. Thank you so much for hitting the follow. Welcome in and thank you everybody. All right, so what has to happen in period number two? Well, you know what? I’m okay for the most part with how this period went. The only thing I would change is stay out of the box. Let’s get a couple cats in the box. Give the Leafs some power play opportunity. That’s where their strengths come from. You got to get some power play opportunities. Red, what’s going on? Welcome in. No, it’s all good, buddy. It’s all good. Happy to have you here. Thanks for joining us. Um, yeah, stay out of the box. Get those power play opportunities because that is going to be huge. 40 minutes left. Or is it? Could there be more? No way my heart could cope with 70. Spooky. I think if if we went 70, first of all, I’d be taking my computer on the couch and we we’d be streaming like this. Oh my goodness. That would be a late night. Uh during the period, you have to stay out of the box. That’s right. Stay out of the box. That is first and foremost. I like what they’re doing along the boards. They’re not losing. Pardon me. They’re not losing every board battle right now. Panos, how’s it going? Welcome out. Freaking out on the Danforth. Coming in from the Danforth. Well, enjoy. I hope you’re having a good time there. You certainly got the good food over there. But uh enjoy. Tell everybody down there to come in and hang out with us. Uh let’s go. Cigarbox, what’s up? I got to see the Leafs win the last Stanley Cup. Oh, wow. You So, you got one. You got one. That’s a start. But yeah, I I agree. Let’s go. Let’s get it number two. Let’s get it number two. They are competing. They are competing. They They certainly are. and and there’s the key indicators that show there’s life, right? Again, I I look to the shots, 7 to2, the Leafs don’t often only allow two shots. Remember, Panthers have put up 15, 13. They’ve put up big numbers, 10 in the first period. So, what does that mean? Why have they only had two shots? And don’t forget, the Panthers had two power plays, right? They’ve only had two power plays. So either somebody has completely messed up the shot count here or Toronto is doing a really good job keeping pucks away from the front of the net. 954 roof. What’s going on of them winning men? Only heads. Oh. Oh boy. Go in there. Go in there. But defensively they’re keeping the puck to the sides. They’re letting Wall see the puck. They’re keeping guys out to the sides. Now, I’m fine if you force the guys out to the side, the shot comes in, wall makes the save, then a Panther comes in with a hack. I certainly don’t like to see the hack, and I’d like to see a leaf put the stick up to the Panther chest. But if they’re going to allow Walt to see the puck, that is a bonus. Good things are going to happen. So, they got to they got to force that, right? They got to keep forcing the Panthers to the perimeter. Now, the board play much much better. We still seen a couple blind back passes. We don’t want that. Gotta cut that out. Sean is American. Matthews is Canadian. The cup final will be other way around. Marawn Canadian. Matthews is is American. But uh oh my goodness. I mean this this game is this game right now is everything we’ve kind of wanted it to be, right? Um we got no score. You know, we’d like there to be a score. We got no score. We’ve had good pace. Exciting both teams with opportunities. They’re moving it. Needs to be careful. Paul Maurice is 26 and0, leading after 40 minutes as a Panther. Yeah, listen. Paul Maurice is is a genius, right? Paul Maurice is an absolute wizard. An absolute wizard. Uh Carter V23. Yes, he is. Bane Slayer. Listen, I I like Verhagy a lot. I like Verhagy a lot. I don’t like him in this series, but typically he he’s my guy. I I think he’s a phenomenal player. Jean Sebastian, welcome in. Bonjour from Montreal, but tonight you support Toronto. There we go. That’s what we love. For a long time, my sleep fans supported Montreal in their bid. I was so hoping Montreal would have been the team to knock off Washington, but a good effort. And listen, let’s let’s not sleep on Montreal because this team is going to be strong. This team is going to be back in the playoffs next year. Really like what they’re building in Montreal and all they need is a couple more pieces. They’re going to be scary. Scary good. Scary good. Oh, David, I I figured as much. I figured as much, but you know, it it’s hard to tell. JS Musical Chores, what’s going on? JS, that’s going back. That is going way back. Uh, rooting for y’all. A thank you. Yes. Listen, Toronto needs the love. Toronto needs the love. But Panthers are getting a lot of love, too. Now, I’m sure a lot of you were kind of on social media over the last couple days, like all of us were after the loss. You’re scrolling through Twitter. You’re scrolling through Instagram. There’s a lot of hate. There’s a lot a lot of hate. And I understand it’s absolutely warranted. But what good comes of the hate? Nothing. Free life. What’s going on? Welcome in. Bruce, how’s it going? Nothing comes from hate. So, as much as we want to get mad and get angry, it’s okay to get mad and get angry, but some of the comments I was reading, holy smokes, like going way too far, Leaf fans, way too far. The other thing I want to say, and you know, we’re all about entertainment here. We have a lot of fun. We joke around. You know, we we did that jersey swap last game. We had some laughs and it was fun. But in going around, you know, just like you, I want to be entertained. I want to see what people have to say. the same people who for the last 3 weeks, four weeks, I don’t know, whenever the playoffs started, that have been screaming and hollering and and carrying on in in a fake way to then try and and you know, make clickbait stuff comes out and says, “Why are we getting so upset? Why are we getting so angry? I don’t understand it. I don’t understand it. I there’s so much fake. There’s so much hate and there’s so many fake people out there who are trying to capitalize on the hate. Why can’t we all just have fun? Why can’t we just enjoy the game? Yes, we can get mad. We can get angry. We don’t have to, you know, make ridiculous, hateful remarks, but we can cheer for our teams. We can be happy. We can be fun. Let’s just be real. Just be real. Everything we do here, and you guys know, I’ll I’ll scream and shout and I’ll I’ll call BS when there’s BS to be called, but everything you get here is a 100% natural reaction, right? Whether I’m here with you or whether I’m watching on TV and my family’s laughing at me because they know it’s true. Jeremy, what’s going on? We just wake up. We like to call it as it is and we like to get emotional. We like to have fun with y’all. So, I know there’s so many fake people out there who just look to do whatever the trend is, but uh drives me nuts. Real Leaf fans, they’re passionate. They’re not fake. They’re passionate. So, when I’m scrolling through social media, I want to see the passion. I want to see the passion. I want to see the Yeah, we’re down, but we’re not out. Yes, they played bad, but we’re here to win. You’ll notice everything I posted ended with a Go Leafs go. everything was I’m still a Leaf fan. Always will be. Go Leafs go. That’s what we want to see. So, we’re going to keep going. We’re going to keep it real. And listen, if it doesn’t end up going on our way, I’ll be the first person to walk out my front door and go shake a Florida Panther fan’s hand because this is playoffs and it’s hardfelt allout war between these two teams. And while they hate each other on the ice, while Sam Bennett is elbowing everybody, Kulikov is elbowing everybody, when game seven is done and one team is moving on, they’re going to go together and they’re going to shake hands. They’re going to pat each other on the chest and say, “Good game. Good luck in the next round. It’s all about sportsmanship.” And as fans, we need to have some sportsmanship. We need to be good sports. Good winners, good losers, not poor losers, not, you know, poor winners. No need to taunt and tease and, you know, it’s all fun in games, but if you’re going to dish it out, you got to be able to take it. So, we’re all here to have a good time, and we are going to keep it 100 all the way through. You’ll be the first Leaf fan. I would drop in your Yes. Correct. Correct. I will shake my own hand. Um, but listen, we’ve met we’ve met we’ve done a lot of Panther games here. A lot of Panther games. You guys know I do enjoy the Panthers as well as the Maple Leafs. Panthers are my my number two. Toronto is always number one. Um, and we’ve met a lot of great Panther people. A lot of great Panther people. And yeah, we’ll we’ll go at each other now. You know, they’ll say, “Hey, we don’t like it. Not going to go through it. Not going to be there. Hey Rhonda, what’s going on? But you know what? When all said and done, we’re still gonna virtually say hi. Teresa, what’s going on? Welcome in. Holy smokes. John, what’s going on? Welcome in. All right, that’s the end of my rant. That’s what it is. It’s all about hockey. It’s all about hockey and we love this game. Hockey fans know what it’s all about. You can’t win every day. Can’t win every year. Sometimes you can’t win in 30. But we’re gonna find a way to do it. We’re gonna find a way to do it. We’re going to do as many games as we can, as we have been. We’ve been live almost every single night. We’ve missed a few due to some family functions and due to uh some conflicts, due to some things we had to take care of, but we’re going to be here down the stretch. And uh I love my playoff hockey. Now, for those that are new, if you’re just finding us, if you’re just finding us now, we’re here all season. We’re not just here during the playoffs. We’re here all season long. Um calling it and having some great time with it. Absolutely, Randy. Uh we’re going to be going hard uh all summer, too. We got some CFL action. Canadian Football League. So much fun. Oh my goodness. We had a blast doing CFL football last year. What a run by the Argonauts. Um it was it was a great time. A really great time. We might even get some Buffalo Bills action going on. Uh we’re going to have a lot of fun all summer long. Plus, all your NHL news updates, rumors, we’ll be talking about it. Beth, I am as well. Thank you for that. Glad you’re here. And uh we just we do things a little different. We beat to our own drum. And while it’s not for some, we’re happy to entertain those of you that enjoy it. Now, the clock has struck zero. We’re not turning into a pumpkin. There’s no not going to be any lost gold slippers. Gold slippers. Glass slippers. Way to mess that one up, Sam. But it’s time for period number two as we get set. 8:30 ozone time for the Panthers. 7:28 for the Maple Leafs. So, it’s pretty close, but as expected, the Panthers just a little bit longer. Toronto playing a good job. They’re playing a good game. They got to stick to their game plan. Babski gets better and better every single period as they go along. So, we’re going to see what Toronto can do here. Uh, so Sam, it was said to the Florida manager that you really do got a fighting chance. Yes. Listen, Frank, we got a fighting chance. We got a fighting chance. It’s all Every game is different. Every game is a new game. You got to block what happened yesterday and keep your mind focused for today. Don’t be like me when I’m golfing. When I shank a ball into the woods, it drives me nuts when I lose a golf ball because they’re they’re so expensive. Those provs, it’s nuts. When you lose one, I ruin three holes because I’m mad I lost a golf ball. You got to forget about what happened in the last game. Forget about the first period. Live in the now. Live in period number two. And here we go. Puck is dropped. This one going to be dumped in right away. Toronto back in their own zone. Tanv going to put it around the boards. The forch check coming up real quick. Leaf’s going to get it out. Jones is going to come back. Looking to work this one up. Cats putting it towards the boards. Mner trying to steal it away. Big board battle here. Go Mitchie. Go. Matthews waiting for that puck. It’s going to come out. Barov can’t get it. Over to Jones. He’s going to put this one in. Back over to Tanv. He’s going to reverse it behind. Going to be bobbled here in the corner. Trying to work it up as Mabe. Mabe losing it. Matthews coming to help out against Marawn. Back to McCabe who cycles it back to Tanv. Tanv going to try the other side. Now they come to the middle of the ice for McCabe. Taniff got tangled up and taken down. McCabe, oh my goodness, gives this one away right on the tape to Lester and he shoots. That’s going to get blocked to the corner. Back around Florida now in the Toronto zone. This third line of the Panthers have given the top line of the Maple Leafs all kinds of trouble. Shot is going to get knocked down. Digging in front. Joseph Wall is going to find it and he’s going to fall on it. So my goodness, we’ve seen this from Tanv a lot and I like how he’s playing. So, I’m not going to give him too hard of a time, but when you’re looking as a defenseman, when you’re looking up ice and you’re looking at exactly who you’re going to pass to for about five beats, everybody on the ice knows where you’re going to pass. You can’t do that. You got to make quick passes, especially coming out of your zone. So, another face off in the Leaf zone. Tavvar going to take this one. He’s going to lose it. Bennett going to put it back. The shot going to go in the corner. Carlo fighting for it. Riley coming in to help out. Verhagy going to win that one. Back over to Eblad. His shot with a deflection goes just wide down on the far side. Another shot and Joseph Wall is going to see this one. Bennett with a little drive by. Homerg takes a swipe at him. That’s right. Road Warriors, don’t get predictable. That was a big problem with the Leafs on the power play. Uh, previously when their power play got dried up, everybody knew where they were passing the puck. Everybody knew their strategies. NHL fan, what’s going on? Welcome in, Michael. Thank you for the follow. 33 blocks for Tanv in these playoffs. He’s got three tonight now. So, Lton going to get waved out maybe. No. Yes. Yep. Lton going to get waved out. Having a conversation with the linesman. Jarn Croc coming in to take this against Bennett off the draw. Sam Bennett’s going to win this one. Back to the line over to Kulikov with a big blast that goes wide. Rebound right up the middle. picked up by Lton. Scotty going to bring this one up into the zone over to Lorent. Lorent back to Laden. Laden going to curl around. Lorent going to race in the corner against Matt Kachchuck. He’s going to back it up. Florida Kulakov going to play it. Lorent up on him. And Florida now. Schmidt on the near side. Plays it up to Verhagy who dumps this one in. Wall coming out behind the net. Doesn’t stop it. Going to be over to Ben. He can’t trap it. Florida going to win it back to the point. Here’s a long shot that’s going to go wide coming around the side and I think it got up into the mesh and yes, referee’s going to say it’s out of play. Holy smokes. So, good start here for the Panthers. Toronto, wake up. Wake up. A little sluggish. A little sluggish to start this period. Definitely not the same tempo that they had in period number one. So, need to need to get this one going. Sebastian, maybe next year. Maybe next year. They’re going to be a good squad. Off the draw. Leaf’s going to flip this one out and down the ice. Patcher ready. He’s going to race in here against Mika. Mikola going to cycle it around back to the line. Riley coming in. Pinching up. Can’t hold it in. They’re going to give it away to Patcher ready. Patch putting it right back in. Bobby McMahon down in the corner on the forche. Patch is coming in as well. Doy in there. Doi getting the puck. Setting it back to the line. Back up to Doi and it’s going to flip down to the corner on the far side. Riley trying to get up on there. Greer putting it back behind the Florida net. Now the Panthers just going to uplift this one. No seek sitting at the Leaf blue line. He receives this one. No seek waiting. He shoots looking for a tip in front. Can’t connect. Bobby McMahon picks this one up. He’s going to chip it out. Florida bringing it right back in. Racing over is Carlo into the corner. Greer is going to meet him. Leafs. Leafs have not had the same jump they did in the first period. No shots for Toronto in the first four minutes of this period. Two for the Florida Panthers. So Tavvaris in to take this draw. He’s going to lose it. Florida back line. Every draw Florida’s winning is in Toronto zone. This coming around the boards. Panthers keeping it going. Mr. Ryan in dropping it to Marawn with a shot that’s going to be blocked into the corner. Benny up on Marawn going to play this one ahead. Homeberg. He’s trying to clear. had it taken away. He walks right up. Big shot is going to break the stick of Patcheri. Pateretti kicks it away from Sam Bennett and he’s got to get a new twig. Racing back is Bobby McMahon up on Forsling. Big snow up against the glass and the Cats going to move it with ease. Toronto has zero forch check going. Here’s a long shot. That one gets blocked. Another broken stick going down in the corner. Down around Lton without a stick now. Riley in the corner. They’re going to play it over to Carlo. Carlo going to rip it around the glass. Carlo lost the stick. Lotton gave his stick to to Carlo. There’s a big size difference between those two. Down in the corner. Yarn gets taken down. Greer is going to flip this one in. Back in the corner. Carlo going to take it around. referee skating around with the stick in his hands. That’s pretty funny. Lton gonna go off the glass and that’s going to be up and out of play. And they’re saying right away, there’s a tip. There’s a tip. So, no penalty at all. They’re going to go to commercial break. The Leafs need to regroup. They need to rethink things here as they are definitely not the same team they were in period number one. But they’re hanging out. They’re hanging out. They’re hanging around. No shots. They really haven’t gotten into the Panther zone except for once or twice, but nothing really became of that. Uh, welcome in. For those that are just joining us, thanks for being here. Welcome to the party. Make sure you are hitting that thumbs up as you’re coming in. And don’t forget to hit that subscribe for us. We are now 10 subs away from hitting Oh, make that nine from 2700. We thank you all so much. Brenda, how’s it going? Welcome in. And uh, let’s let’s keep it going. Keep it going. And don’t forget to set that notification so that way you know when we go live. Uh we’re going to take a look obviously depending on what happens tonight. We’re going to have to look game seven I believe will be uh Sunday night. Sunday night will be game seven. So we’re going to be keeping an eye on that. We don’t know what the times will be. Tomorrow is Winnipeg and Dallas at 8:00 p.m. That one is up in the air. So we’re going to see what we can do there. Okay. When is the jersey coming off tonight? Not tonight. Not tonight. No, we’re we’re riding it all the way through. We’re riding it all the way through. That’s funny. That was so much fun. That was such a funny moment. That was such a funny moment. We had, as bad as the game was, as bad as the game was, for those of you that were here with us, we had so many laughs, we we had a great time. For as bad as that game was, we we certainly made the best of it. And that’s why this community is absolutely incredible. All right, they’re coming back from commercial break. Time to flip the strip. Time to get things going. Refs want to help the other team. Could you imagine if somebody would have passed it over to him? That would have been amazing. Richard, what’s going on, buddy? Good to see you. Hope you’re doing well. All right. You were just a newbie. I know, Leo. It It feels like yesterday. No, it doesn’t. It was a long time ago. Yeah, that’s right. Ken, get the smelling salts going. He gave seven, Robert. See, that’s creative, Robert. I like that. I like that. All right, here we go. Just under 14 minutes to go. Shots are now seven apiece off the draw. This coming back goes under Taniff’s stick. He’s going to revert it around. Toronto trying to work this one out. They need to get it going. Taniff going back for it. Whoops. Pushed the wrong thing. There we go. McMahon struggling to get this one out. Comes back. Tanv going to use the boards on the far side. They get it just over the red line. Florida going to bring it right back in. Florida Deacon through everybody. Here’s a shot right on wall. Makes the save. You know what it reminds me of? I don’t know how many of you play uh you know EA Sports, NHL on whatever console, but when the other team had when you’re playing someone online, which I don’t do a lot because I’m really bad. when they have the puck online and they can dangle and stick handle and go around you and it doesn’t matter how many times you slash them or or body check them, you can’t take the puck off them. That’s what this feels like. That’s what this feels like. Florida’s just dangling, carrying the puck around, doing everything. Toronto struggling to take the puck away. So, here we go. Another faceoff in the Leaf zone. Another Florida Panther faceoff win. Quick shot going to go around behind the net. Very trying to come up with it. Leafs played around the boards. Kulicov going to keep this one in. Here’s Bennett. Cross to Kachchuck with a shot that hit Lton. I think it hit him right in the family. Jewels. Loren’s going to bobble this one off the blade. Knocking it out. Yarn croc trying to turn back and come on this. Florida going to play it ahead. Quick pass up to Lton. Lton bringing it in. Lorren going to the net. Lton tease it up. That’s going to go just short. This down to the side. Yarn coming in with a big hit. Forgot the puck. Toronto getting a little concerned throwing hits. They forgot about the play. Threeon two. Florida coming in. Nice play by Carlo to break that one up. This down around behind the net. Florida trying to throw it in front. Kachchuck coming through like a spin cycle. Trying to take this one away. Toronto, look out. Heads up on a swivel. The hits are coming in, but they get it all the way down. Lucas, how’s it going? Welcome. Forsling going to back it up. He’s going to play this to Verhagy. Verhagy turning back to Marian. Marian working this one up. Riley trying to tie up his man. Ben Ben Wis goes back up to Riley. Riley can’t get it out. Hits the Florida Panther player. Lendell putting it across. Little tow drag. Ben Wall with a huge hit on Brad Marian. And here’s They come at Homeberg and Tavvaris trying to get in there. Marian just got run over. You know Ben Wis’s been waiting for that one for a long time. Here comes Homer. He’s going to take a bump in here. Tavvaris can’t take it away from him. Florida. They keep playing this one around behind the net trying to pick this one up. They have it. Lundell turning throwing it. That goes wide. Tavvaris slow to get him over there. Back to the point. Forsling steps into one. Big save by Wall. 93 mph. Forsling can shoot. This is going to be flipped up over the head of Riley. Homeberg going around behind. Gets it back to Riley. He’s going to play it to the corner. Nobody is there. Hecklad trying to come in front. That’s going to get knocked down. Gdoyovic is there. Toronto. Nelander. Come on. Stronger on the puck. Ya. Bum. This going to come around in front. Here’s another shot by Nosi. Wall is scrambling over to the corner. Nelander. He’s going to chip this one out. And Jones is going to come right back in. They can’t get it deep. This Florida Panther team is pressing. Then stuck on the ice for over two minutes. Tvaris has his stick lifted. Play the puck. JT bringing this one in. Drop pass. Neander playing it up side of the net. Back hand in front. Nobody’s there in the slot. Florida gonna turn and bring this Toronto on a line change coming to get back dropping it for Boquist in the slot with a shot. Oh, that goes just high and over. Barov in the corner. It’s going to be pinched away from him. Comes out over the line. Toronto trying to race back. They’re going to recover. Playing this one over. Toronto up the near side. Going to be deflected down into the Florida zone. Not deep behind Doy. Doy trying to get back over there. Nice can’t get it. Big hit there as Mabe stepped up on his man. And this is going to be icing as Chris Tanov is back to pick this one up. Holy cow. What a pace here in the second period. Toronto has finally woken up as Benis steps into that filthy rat. What a hit. But Gdyovic came right at Riley. No seek had an opportunity. They were in there. You got to be kidding me. All of a sudden in a heartbeat, this tempo went up about eight notches. last two off the draw. Florida going to win another one. Toronto, they suddenly have lost the urge to win faceoffs. Back in the corner to the Florida line, Panthers going to pass this one up. Almost too many men on the ice getting around McMahon. Here’s a long shot. Wall again dropping down in the butterfly and going to hang on to this puck. And Austin Matthews is in some serious discomfort. He’s got the jersey up over the eye. So, right off the face off, oh, high stick. Barkov’s stick came up and got Matthews right in the eye socket. Right in the eyeball, of course. No call. And Matthews is leaving. Matthews is going to the dressing room. No official calls it stick right up in the eye canal. So hopefully Matthews just gets a little flush job done and is right back. Yikes. Unbelievable. Hate to see that happen off the draw. Going to be blown down right away. Going to regroup. Maru is kind of given the death stare towards the officials here. Toronto took backto-back penalties in the first period. The Florida Panthers have yet to go to the box, although there’s been lots of evidence to say they should have gone a few times. This going to be flipped up. Bobby McMahon trying to bring this one in. Marner trying to come in the corner. flipped around over the head of Kachchuck Ecman Larson putting this cross ice leaf’s going to send this one in. Carlo that could have been icing. It was very close to the line. Florida again off off the board battle going to work this one up. Schmidt going to dump it in. Takes a bump. Wall can’t stop it. Lton or excuse me, McMahon on the side. Comes out in front almost to Bennett. Comes to the corner. Doi picks this one up. Doy. He’s going to go cross ice. Too high for Ecman Larson. He can’t knock it down. off the boards comes right to Boaroski. They’re going to move this one across. Here comes Florida again. Kachchuck. He’s going to drive through. Putting this one deep. Florida Panthers. Florida Panthers. Too many men on the ice. Holy smokes. So, the Maple Leafs won’t call a high stick to the eye. They won’t call an elbow. They won’t call a trip, but too many men on the ice. They can’t do that. Carrie, unfortunately, not able to do so. 0 is the score. The 000 is the score here tonight. Holy smokes. Finally. 1 2 3 4 5 six. No, it is. They’re going to go to commercial break. Give the Maple Leafs a chance to catch their breath. And we are four subs away from 27100. If you haven’t subbed up, hit that sub. Who’s going to put us over the 100 marker? And don’t forget, keep those likes going as well as we’re coming up to 300 of those. Thank you all so much. Appreciate it. What a fun game. Gemma, could you imagine? Can you imagine if that ever came out as being the case? Holy smokes. That would be incredible. Zachary, thank you for hitting those likes. Appreciate it. Again, welcome in everybody. I don’t know why my phone does that. It kind of goes like robotic at certain moments. It’s weird. Uh priorities here. No call for the stock stick to the eye, but let’s call too many men. Right, Kathleen? It don’t understand. Don’t understand, but we’ll take it. We will. We will take it. Finally going to get that power play. There we go. Thank you for hitting that subscribe. Putting us closer and closer. Getting there. D Ken, thank you. Three subs away. Three subs away. By the time, by the way, if if you unsubscribe and resubscribe, it doesn’t count cuz it’s one plus 1 – 1 plus one is the same. So, let’s go. Two away. Rob, what’s going on? Welcome in fingers, toes. Rob, we got everything crossed tonight. But this is this is huge. And a nice breather here. A nice break. Leafs are going to get a chance here with the extra man. Let’s see how they can do it. I’m curious who they’re going to put out. Are they just going to slate Riley out with Matthews uh going to the bench? We will have to find out. Hopefully, they can connect. Their power play has struggled. Their power play has struggled. Matthews is out. Time for Sam to lace him up. Tory, I would not last long. And it looks like Matthews is back. Matthews is back on the ice. So, I guess they just did a little put the water in a glass and kind of flush out your eye. But Matthews is back. Maybe that’ll fix his shot. Maybe he’ll hit the net now. Mner over to Matthews. Matthews shot and he hits the net right in front. It’s a scramble. It’s a miracle. Matthews hit the net. Digging in the side. Tavvaris kicking it free. Tries to center it. Tavvaris to Matthews. He bats it out of the air. Who is this kid? Matthews to the line to Knander. Knander. Willie looking back up top. Marner to Matthews. Matthews. He’s looking. Matthews in front. Tavvaris with a backhand. It’s blocked. Rebound is there. Florida’s going to clear this one down. Thank you. There we go. Putting it over. He hit the net. Oh, and a pass up for Tavvaris is going to be blown as an offside. And they’re going to call this an intentional offside and send it all looks like all the way back to the Toronto end. So, a good play over to Matthews. Matthews little shot right on Boaroski and he bobbled it. N couldn’t get it cuz Elad’s stick was between N’s legs, but it was right there. It was right there for the taken. Leo, he is pissed. He looks real pissed. Florida off the draw. They’re going to put this one. Working it up. Here’s a long shot. That one’s going to go wide. N is going to pick it up. 116 to go on the power play. They play it back behind the net. Toronto going to start to work forward. There it is. CMDR bringing up the Austin Matthews graphic. Over to Big Willie Styles. Over to N. N coming in. Cigar box. Thank you for hitting that subscribe. N in the corner. Mikola pinching up on it. Matthews trying to pinch it away. It’s going to come around. eyes behind the board, behind the net, all the way to the point. Nobody is there. That’s why you need a defenseman on the power play. Florida again going to bring this one out with ease. Toronto, a good start to this power play. And then things have just fallen apart. Madam Bun, how’s it going? Welcome in. Melanie, welcome in Dan. What’s up? The Bunit is on here with Matthews. He’s going to carry this one up. Putting it over to Patretti. Back to Matthews. And Matthews again. Oh, you got to be kidding. Matthews gets the stick up on Eblad. And now Matthews is gonna get a high sticking penalty. So it’s okay for Matthews to get a stick to the face. But when it’s Ecklad, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That is not okay. So Matthews has a mouthful for the referee here. Tree living is given one of these. He’s ticked off. So the pass came behind. went for a little stick lift that missed the stick and just catches him in the chin. Listen, it’s it’s a high stick all day long. I have no problem with a high stick being called. What I have a problem with is how do you call one high sticking call and not the other high sticking call. Well, that’s going to do it. We’re going to get four on four for 28 seconds here. Coach, you can show a little emotion. You know, it might help your players if you get a little mad. Just saying. Exactly, Brian. Exactly. It’s like if if Clint Marduk came back to the ice and got a slashing penalty. Here’s a long pass. Toronto coming up the four in the middle. Feeding it across for Knander. He can’t get it. Riley trying to bank it off the defender. Still in the corner, playing it out. Will he turn around? He’s going to feed this one back in there. That’s coming around down low in the corner. Elad gonna work this one across. Clearly, he’s he’s so injured. Going to work this through. Let’s go. Now it’s a the end of the fouron four into a Panther power play for 124. Trying to bring this one up in the corner. Tanv trying to take it away. He’s gonna get a bump and go down. Leafs holding it. Yarn croc along the boards. Referee was in his way one way. Has to go the other way. Why is the referee standing right behind the net? Sending this one across. Chaff, how’s it going? Toronto going to steal. It’s a threeon three. Short-handed. Toronto. Be careful. Yarn croc realizes he’s just going to play this one down in the corner. Florida going to start to carry up. A little stick there from Mner in over the line. Cross eyes to Kachchuck. Pat, how’s it going? Back to Jones. Jones going to go cross ice. Florida coming up. They go upstairs. Big rebound. Lorent putting it to the boards. Skate Stevie. He’s going to play it up. And where’s the interference penalty there? Can’t do that. Barov going to go back to pick it up. 35 seconds to go. 35 seconds to go. I just watched the Knicks podcast. The guy was consistently complaining about the refs when the Knicks are up by 20. That That’s crazy. But it it’s been pretty bad. It’s been pretty bad. Schmid is going to go back and pick this one up. Knicks have been on a tear. I’m a little surprised by that to be honest with you. Florida going to shoot this one right in. Panthers can’t work it around. Lton going to bring this one up. 5 seconds to go on the power play. Leaf’s going to clear this all the way down. Jake coming in with that subscribe. Thank you so much. Welcome. Welcome in, Ivan. Thank you, Jake. Let’s go. Five on five hockey back at it. Panthers walking in. Long shot. Wall with a nice save. Tavvarus in front of the net. Played it into the skates of Ecman Larson. Luckily, he kicked that to the corner. This going to be played up to Tavvaris. Tavvaris. He shoots. That’s going to get tipped to the corner. Tvarus going back at it. Can’t come away with it. Back around. Homeberg. Can’t take it away. More eye pokes. Yeah, no kidding. Down around Riley going to try and pitch it up to Knander. Can’t do it. Back to Riley. Taken away by Barkoff. Barkoff in the corner. going to feed this into the high slot. Reinhardt with a shot goes behind the net. Tavvarus back to pick this one up. He’s going to cycle it around and McCabe is going to set this one up. No score. 510 to go. 510 to go in this hockey game. And what a hockey game this has been. Knicks moving on. The Celtics went to Cancun. This down in the corner. Doy fighting for this one. Toronto fighting for it. Florida going to bring this one up and again playing it down in the corner. Toronto has only had three shots in this period. The Panthers have had 12. Here comes McMahon. Boquist chasing up. He’s got Doy. Pass comes to Doy. Doi fumbled it. This coming the other way. Bennett. He’s going to get stood up by Benois. Jerome, how’s it going? Welcome in. This going to be played across trying to get this going. Five is all right. 0 is the score. 420 to go. 420 to go in period number two. 12 shots in this period by the Panthers. Only three for the Maple Leafs. A complete turnaround from period number one. But they’ve had some spurts. This going to be dumped in. There’s a big hit right at the line. Matthews coming in with a little hit on Schmidt. Schmidt turns around with a big slash. Matthews, he’s going to put it towards the net. That one is going to be stopped. NY’s trying to come up on this one. He can’t. Matthews looking for it. But it goes up in the air to the line. Riley to Mner. Marner do something. Throws it towards the net. That one goes wide. Timmy, what’s going on? Welcome in. Back to Riley. Sending it around behind. Trying to put in front for Matthews. He can’t get it. Back to Riley. Riley going cross ice. D to D. Riley going to back stop these blind backhanded passes. Riley going to send it down low. And we got a penalty coming up. To who is the question. interference. Eklad is shaking his head, so I’m guessing it’s on Aaron Ecklad. So, another Maple Leaf power play coming up. Thank you. But holy smokes, Cora coming in with that subscribe. Thank you. So, it looks like Eblad is going for interference. Riley or Nelander kind of got run up there with Bovari. They got tangled up. So, let’s see. Let’s see something getting up here. And again, EClad steps up on Marner and takes him down, which is why he’s going to the box. So, they’re going to commercial break. We’ll get a short commercial break with 3:30 left to go in this period. They’re looking to get it going. Carmelo, thank you so much. I appreciate it. JDA, what’s going on, dude? Good to see you. Shaking his head still from the stick. Yeah, he’s going to the box. He’s like, “Oh, but he got me again. He got me again.” Go Leafs go. That’s right, Dan. That’s right. Go Leafs go. Thank you all for coming in. Thank you for being here. Thank you for hitting that subscribe. Love seeing those numbers go up. Thank you so much. There you go. What should our new goal be? What should our new goal be? 271. What should we go 150? Do you think we can get up to 150? BGAR, thank you so much for hitting that subscribe. Tom, what’s going on? This is going to be an interesting one. Gino coming in with that subscribe. Thank you all very, very much. This is wild. Back and forth again. This period hasn’t had the same jump that we had in the last one. Jeffrey, what’s going on? Welcome in. Thank you very much. Thomas, what’s shaking? 30K. Dan says, “Let’s go 30K.” That That might be tough to do the Arctic right now’s the time. Now would be a great time to get it going. That would be absolutely incredible. Absolutely incredible. Adrian, how’s it going? Robert, what’s going on? I don’t know. We’ll see. It’s anybody’s game. It’s anybody’s game. Special K, thank you so much. Appreciate you very, very much. Let’s go. Holy smokes. This is wild. This is absolutely wild. Getting those hands up. Keep those hands going. Our virtual wave is going around. Hey, you guys started it. I’ll continue it. Virtual wave is going around and around and it’s a Maple Leaf power play. Let’s do it. So we got Pacheretti with Matthews. Savvaris Marner and Neander. Why is Patretti out here off the draw comes to Mner trying to settle it down over to Matthews. Matthews back up to Mner. Here’s a shot right down. A nice save. Puck is loose in front. That’s what you do. A quick pass to the point and they’re going to work it up. Bobski is coming. One Broski. My goodness. Barkoff is coming up. Oh my goodness. Barkoff came up. He had a great opportunity going one-on-one with Mner, but wasn’t able to get it done. Marner going to play this back to Matthews. Matthews going to drop it back for Willie. Big Willie Styles up over the line. Trying to put it in the corner for Tavvaris. Tvaris, he gets tied up real quick. Florida winning that battle up to Reinhardt and he’s going to clear this one out again. Toronto cannot win these dump and chase board battles. Mner cycling around behind the net. 240 to go in this period. 110 left in the power play. Here’s Ecman Larson up to Doy. Puck is going to be bobbled in. Doi racing. He’s got Bobby McMahon with him trying to give him the puck. Kulikov takes it away. Comes around to the line. The Leaf defender can’t snug it against the boards and it comes out and all the way down. Leafs on their power plays have not been good tonight. They have not taken advantage. This going to come up. Doi chasing it down. Kulakov going back. Three Leafs down behind the goal line fighting this one. Yarn croc to doi. Doi no one to pass it to. Tried to now send it up. Kulikov blocked that one. Back to Ecman Larson. Ecman Larson. Cross ice. Going to slide this one down. Cross ice for McMahon. It hops over his stick. That’s going to come to the line. It’s held in over to Domy Croc. Go to the front of the net. Over to Riley. Riley. He gives it away and this one gets shoveled all the way down. 18 seconds to go. Bobby hitting that subscribe. Thank you, Bobby. Ecman Larson. He’s going to turn. Here goes Oliver Ecman Larson up to Lton. Lton dumping it in. 7 seconds to go here on the penalty on the power play. Lorent sending it around to the boards. Toronto bobbled it. Keeping this one in. Power play has expired. They only had one shot and it was not a good one. Homeberg back to the line. Oh, they bobbled it again and it came out. Taniff couldn’t hold the line. Put it in and it’s going to be an offside call with 120 to go. 20 to go. Unbelievable. Toronto just struggling, struggling to get some good opportunities. You got to put pucks to the net. There’s one thing about being patient and and I have no problem with you being patient, but sometimes patience doesn’t work. You just got to put pucks to the net and look for a rebound, look for a deflection, look for something. How many times do you have to be scored on that way to learn that’s the way you got to play? So faceoff just outside the Panther line. Lottton in to take it for Toronto. Looks like Bennett for Florida and Toronto going to win this one back. And they play it all the way back past Tanv. Tanv going to play this one up to Nowhere’sville. Finally, it’s going to be come down. Lton has it tied up there. Homeberg is there. Lton plays it back. Swinging it over to Mabe on the near side. He hits the red line, dumps it in, skips it on on Babrosski. Last minute of play. Last minute of play. Side of the net. Comes out in front. No leaf is there. Florida look to move this one across. Here comes Florida. Twoon one. Riley getting back. Little backhand. Nice play by Lton. Lton coming all the way back. Nice. Watch the puck go right past him. This going back in the corner. Florida going to rotate it around behind the net. Lton watching one side. Sending it to the line for Jones. Jones working this one up. Verhigy with a shot. That one’s blocked. Back to the line. Mikola is sending this one in behind for Kachchuck. Kachchuck trying to bounce this one in front. He doesn’t get all of it. Over to Bennett on the far side. 23 seconds to go. Florida cycling around. Man, a pass for Mikola is going to be out of the zone. So, everybody’s got to clear. Mikola dumps it right back in. 13 seconds to go. No score. We are all tied at zeros. Goose eggs. That’s right. James Riley going to carry this one up. He’s going to send it down the ice. It’s going to be blocked just inside the line. And the horn is going to go and this period has come to an end. The good thing is it’s 000. The the bad play of the Maple Leafs in this period did not give up a goal. However, Babroski has been the best he is when it comes period number three. All right, let’s get ourselves set up and ready to rock. Get these stats up here. We’re going to take a look at this. Mner did not get a contract offer from the Leafs. Never seen a player guys. Well, so it it’s Oh, he better not get a contract offer. Right, right, right. It’s going to be interesting. The Mner situation is going to be very interesting. Cheers, everybody. I got to have a little drink. All right. By a little drink, I meant a big drink. So 1413 the shots. At first look, excuse me, it’s low, but it’s even. Problem is the Leafs only had six shots in that period. Only six. James, no worries. No worries. It’s all good. So, six shots. Florida had 12 in that period. Taking a look at the hits, Florida out hitting Toronto big time. 38-24. That’s to be expected. Toronto was keeping pace in the last couple of games, but I’m okay with them being out hit if they focus and play better hockey. Uh Panthers are 0 for three on the power play. Toronto finally had a couple in this period. They are 0 for two. So that is not good. 13.9* 8. Jack, they better not offer him 13.9* 8. I will lose my marbles. We’ll let’s talk about that in a minute. Uh, taking a look at the giveaways. 76. So, for two periods of play, no issues with that at all. No issues. Really, really low giveaway number. 18 block shots for Toronto. That’s a lot of block shots, right? A lot of block shots. 18 through two periods. That’s crazy. All right. So, you say 13.9 is what you heard. Let’s Let’s talk about this for a minute. Now, yes, MNER did have Oh, TJ, I hope we get that. I hope we get a goal. Marner did have over 100 points. First time in his career. Can’t knock that. Can’t knock that. 100 points. That’s good. Special K. Yeah, you got to secure the neutral zone. Absolutely. Kirk, how’s it going? But Marner 100 points regular season. That’s that’s not easily replaceable, right? It’s not. It doesn’t matter how you look at it. You cannot just replace 100 points. He had 102 this year. In 81 games, he had 102 points. Last year, he played 69 games. He had 85 points. The year before he played 80 games, he had 99. 72 games, he had 97 points. 55 games, he had 67. 82 games, 94. So, you can’t really replace that kind of production, right? In in the playoffs this year, he’s got 12 points in 11 games. In the playoffs this year, 12 points in 11 games. He he’s been ice cold as of lately. He was redot in the first series. Last year, well, we won’t talk about last year cuz we know how bad everyone was last year. The year before, 22-23, they played 11 games. He had 14 points. So, kind of on that same same pace. the year before, seven games, eight points. So, he’s he’s a point per game player. Point per game player. Um, which again, I would love to have point per game players. We want them to have more than point per game. We want them to be 1.5, two points a game per player. That’s what as Leaf fans, we have a very high expectation. I think Marner, he can play well, but where he’s where he’s not being effective is he’s being taken out big time. Florida has done a solid job isolating him, right? They’re bounce. They’re bouncing off of him. They’re playing him hard. He gets the puck. They got one or two guys right on him to take that puck away. And because they’re doing that, because they’re doing that, they’re forcing him to move it. We don’t like these behind the back blind passes, but it’s the only option he has to move the puck. It’s one of the things where the brain is working a little too fast. Instead of looking at what other options I have, let me kick it along the boards. Let me try and dig it down. He says, “Uh-oh, two guys are coming. Let me get rid of it.” He’s going to get hit either way, but he throws the puck in terrible positions. So that’s that’s kind of a mental thing and that is because Florida has been cutting him off and driving him hard because he’s getting beaten up and they’ve essentially taken MNER’s passing away from him. Matthews is left exposed. Matthews can’t get these good passes that he normally does get. Now is that going to change as his career goes on? Probably not, right? The pressure on Marner is not the same in the regular season as it is in the playoffs. So you don’t see those situations come up. So Peter said, “How much is Marner getting paid?” Right now, uh, he’s getting 10.9 10.9, which I think we’ll all agree is o he’s been overpaid, right? He’s been overpaid for the last little while, right? Severely in in my opin in my opinion. Um, he went up to get 108 and it climbed up to 109. So that’s where he where he’s right now. He wants rantin money, right? He want He says, “I’m a 100 plus point player. I want that big money.” Uh, where’s the game? Is the period over? So, yes, period is over. We’re at second intermission. Game is in Florida. Game is in Florida. Happy. It’s 000 is the score. So, let’s talk about this. You hear you hear rumblings of of 13.9 million. Austin Matthews is making 13 uh.25. There is no realm, no galaxy, no world that Mitch Marner deserves to be paid more money than Austin. Let’s go. Thank you for hitting that subscribe. Appreciate it. Welcome in. Dennis, how’s it going? So, Matthews had signed that extension last year which kicked in. He’s making 13-2, right? He’s making 13-2. No way should get more money than that. Now, Nelander is making 115. And I don’t think Marner should get more money than Nelander personally. Malti, how’s it going? I think Nelander and now listen, Willie had a great year. You know, he he had a phenomenal year when it comes to goal scoring. He played in all 82 games, right? Which is nice. 45 goals, you know, 84 points. Didn’t have a ton of assists, but he’s not a playmaker. Nelander in in these playoffs, he’s got 15 points in 11 games, right? Six goals, nine assists, 15 points, you know, good numbers. Last year, remember he was hurt most of the playoffs last year. Only played four games, but in those four games, he had three goals. So, you know, he is he is stepping up. He’s playing. Sometimes you’re like, Willie, where are you? You know, come back and get in here. You still no score. Still no score. It’s crazy. But Nelander, you know, he’s putting up numbers and for him to make 11.5, I think I’m okay with that. Um, Marner is not worth more than that. I just I I can’t see I can’t see Nelander getting more or Mner getting more money than Willie. It just to me it it doesn’t make sense. That that kind of bothers me. It does doesn’t work out. You know, Matthews obviously what he’s getting paid is big. McKinnon’s getting big money. He’s he’s worth it. Nelander is kind of behind Elias Patterson with with his salary. Um Jake Gensel is up there. Raasmus Dalene Pasternac these guys are all around there and it makes sense for Neander to get up there. Where is Doi in the pay scale? So Doi is way way down. Doi is way down and you know where is he here? So, Doi is making 3.75 3.75 for Doi and I’m fine with that. Um, I would like to see DOI upwards of about 20 goals a year. That’s kind of where I would like to see him get to, but if he’s contributing in other ways, then I have I have no issues. Um, he only had eight goals this year. He only had eight goals, but Doy was kind of a rotating wall. Um, he didn’t get a lot of playing time. If he would have played more on that second line or back on that top line where they had him before when he started doing really well, I think he would have made a made a big difference. But I have no problem with what Domi is being made because he’s a fighter. He’s a contributor. He does he does things in a lot of different ways. So here here are your total your total salaries uh with the new contracts in uh let’s look look at cap hit. Can we look at the full rankings here? Well, let’s bring it up. So if we talk about salaries again, remember we’re talking Marner wants 13.9. Leon Dryidle 14 million top top contract right now 14 million. Um Matthews is second at 13.2. If you give Marner 13.9 that puts him second in the league. Would anybody here in any of the chats that we’re streaming on right now, would anybody say Marner is worth second highest played player or even the highest played player? Anybody? Anybody? No. No. No. No. And and my feed just died. That’s awesome. Um he is definitely not worth being the top one or two players in the league. No, no way. Never. Um, Nate, is he is Martner worth more than Nathan McKinnon? No chance. Is he worth more than Conor McDavid? No chance. Rantin? No chance. Is he worth more than Paneran? Yes. I I would say based off this past season, Mitch Marner is better than Paneran. Car uh Eric Carlson, yes. David Pastnack, comparable. So based off those salaries, those guys, Paneran Person, they’re about 116. Carlson 115, Pastasternac is 11.25. So my my offer, not not that it matters my offer, but my offer I would say Mitch Mner, we will give you we will match what William Nelander is giving you. We will give you 11.5. That would be my max. Um, and I think that’s fair based upon the other salaries and where guys are. I think that’s very, very fair. 11.5 million. And if he walks, if he says no and he walks away, I think we made the best offer. You can’t give him more money than Mner because you have a cap issue right now. John Tvar has had a phenomenal season. I know he’s kind of faded a bit here in the in the postseason, but he had an unbelievable season. He had almost 30 goals. Almost 30 goals. Tavvarus only has two points in these playoffs. He’s a little step behind. Um I would still offer Tvaris kind of a three-year deal uh to keep him around for a couple of years. He’s 34. I would give him a three-year deal, but I would kind of be about 6 million, right? I would keep him for six. The other big thing Toronto has to do, they have to pay Matthew Ny. Matthew Ny is a restricted free agent now. I’m hoping to goodness. Hey Thomas, what’s going on? I’m hoping that they kind of have a deal ready to go that once the playoffs are done, they’re going to announce and say, “Hey, we’ve signed him.” if they let him go to July 1st even though he can’t go anywhere as a free agent teams can offer him offer sheets and you can be for certain Pittsburgh Kyle Dubis he’s going to want to come after Matthew Ny he’s going to offer him a ridiculous offer sheet he’s going to give him eight or nine million bucks on an offer sheet which means Toronto has to match if they don’t Toronto gets a first second and a third round draft pick now draft picks are always good Matthew Matthew Ny is a drop in the dime. Players like Matthew Ny do not come along very often. 6’3, 217 lbs, big- time power forward, goal scoring. Uh he had 15 or 29 goals this year, almost 30 goals for Nazis. I mean, he is an absolute monster. You got to lock this kid up. You got to keep him for eight years. It’s going to be really important. So, you need that money. You can’t afford to give Marner 14 million, nor nor does he deserve it, right? So, if you keep if you keep him, if you keep Matthew Ny and you keep John Tavvaris for six, you you now have a whole lot of money cuz don’t forget the cap’s going up, too. So, you’ve got money where you can replace Nick Robertson because I don’t think he’s returning. Nick Robertson will be gone. Homeberg should be gone. Replace those two. You got options. You don’t have to do anything with your defense. Morgan Riley is locked up long term at 7.5. He’s not going anywhere unless they find a way of trading him and I can’t see that happening. So, I don’t think our defense is going to change. Our goalending isn’t going to change. Stellar and Wall are locked up for the next couple of years. It’s just the forwards that are going to move around. So, it’s going to be very interesting to see. Would you keep N over Marner Jay if I could only take one of them? Yes, absolutely. Uh, are you No, Ninja. With the the price these things cost, never. And you know what? I would never I would never burn burn a jersey. Um, listen, I’m a Leaf fan from the beginning to the end. Uh, and always will be. So, I I think, and no disrespect if if anyone in this chat are one of those people that goes and burns their jersey, people who are burning their jersey and posting it on social media is doing it for clicks. They’re doing it for clicks and follows. It’s all a stunt. Um, if you go and you are burning a jersey, why are you throwing away $300? Um, I I think it’s it’s ridiculous. Same. The people who threw it on the ice, I understand you’re frustrated. Why are you throwing a $300 jersey on the ice? You don’t want it, donate it. You don’t want your jersey anymore, donate it. That that would be that would make me happier to say, “Oh, I’m so mad. I hate this team. I’m not going to support them. I’m going to give my jersey to Goodwill. I’m going to donate it over here. I’m not gonna be a fan, but I’m gonna put it where somebody else can benefit from it. 22. Yeah. Turning 23. He is a stud. You You have to keep him. You absolutely have to. Leaves can sign Ellers. Magny and Penny. Yeah. I mean, Ellers, they’re both great players. A little small, but really really good players. Solid players. Um, so they they certainly I mean, there’s a lot of good players that will be out there. So, no need to to kind of get yourself stuck. And I think that’s that’s going to be very very important to to remember if we take a look and I mean I’m just pulling this up here on the fly really really quickly. You know your your top free agents right? Obviously Mitch Marner is going to be considered one of the top free agents. So you got Marner, Tavaris, Ellers, Matt Duchain, Sam Bennett, Patrick Kane, Brock Basser, Brock Nelson, Aaron Ecklad, Druan Giru, Granlin, Marawn, Donado. There’s a lot of good names on this list. Listen, could you imag could you imagine Leaf fans if all of a sudden the season ends, July 1st comes and the Maple Leafs announce they sign Sam Bennett? What would you do, Leaf fans, if Sam Bennett became a Maple Leaf? Now, I’ll be shocked if the Florida Panthers let him go. But what would you how would you feel if Sam Bennett became a Toronto Maple Leaf? Earn your Leaf socks if you have. There you go. Right. Right. Go to the socks. Go to the socks. Watch the last last game May 4th with the wife. I see you. They lost, but it was the last event that I enjoyed with her. Oh, Douglas, I’m so sorry to hear that Fickle Leaf fan for sure. Douglas, what a nice story. I’m so so sorry for your loss and uh always always tough, but at least at least you got to enjoy it together. Uh this person, how’s it going? Anything? Keep the jerseys to wash your car with. There it is. Mark Sam, hockey is an emotional game. Absolutely, Mark. 100%. I’m one of them. I’ll be the first to admit. We’ve seen it here on this channel. I agree with you 100%. I’d love a jersey. What kind of fan? Right. Exactly, Beth. Exactly. No, Bennett. I mean, it would be wild will not play in Canada. Uh, let’s see. I was going to puke if you said Marawn. That’s funny. I I mean, it’s it’s always funny to to see what these things, you know, come up. You know, Matt Duchain, you know, at 33 years old, I don’t think he he’s worth signing. You want to get some of the younger guys. You know, Eers would be a good replacement, but he’s going to want some serious money. You know, I don’t want Patrick Kane. I I don’t necessarily want Brock Besser. Um he has so much potential and I’m I’m not sold on him. Um Brock Nelson I like. You know, there’s some other good pick. Ryan Donado would be a nice little depth pickup. So, there’s some good players on this list. We’ll have to see how it’s going to come out. All right, Leaf fans. After 40 minutes, we’re ready to get back in. Offensive zone time 1825 for Florida to 1349 to the Maple Leafs. That’s a big difference. Toronto needs to get the puck going. Let’s get set for third period. And remember fans, whatever happens, win or lose, let’s be respectful. We’ll congratulate the winners and we’ll move on. We’re either going to have game seven coming up this weekend or we’re going to start getting ready for round two. Lots to cheer on. Let the butterflies start bubbling up. 20 minutes or more. Time to get this going. 000 is the score. Oh boy. Top line on. Nice. Mner Matthews. Let’s go, Hunter. I love it. Toronto in seven. Let’s go. Mner right off the draw. Tried to bring it to the Panther blue line. He’s going to turn it over. Thomas, how’s it going? Welcome in. Let’s bring this one around. We’ll see. Thomas, we’ll see. Let’s see this down around in the corner. Back here. Florida going to work it up. Matthews going to take it away. He gets tripped up. Walking out of the corner. N put his arm up. Wanted a penalty. Doesn’t get one. This going to be put all the way down. Tanv, he’s going to bring it around. Circling a behind. Toronto being a little too little too patient right now. They’re waiting for the perfect pass, the perfect play. This going to come across. Knander circling in his own zone. Going to slide this one up to I can’t see who that is. To Homerg back up in the corner. Tavvarus going in after it. Tavvarus up on his man coming around. Held in at the line. Tavvarus and Nelander kind of bump into each other. Nelander going around behind the net forcing Ecklat out. Tvaris can’t catch him. This coming around Florida into the Toronto zone. Lester Rinan putting it in the corner. Riley a nice hit on him. Marawn coming up. He’s going to turn and throw. That’s going to get knocked down. Back to the line. Forsling with a shot. That one goes wide. Wall kind of stumbled awkwardly there. Oh boy. This back around. Tavvar’s going to pick it up. He puts it along the boards trying to go around Forsling now. He’s going to chase it. Eklad goes high off the glass. Marawn going to grab it. He’s going to turn and play it back. Florida in their own zone getting things set up. Long pass up to Bennett. Bennett chipping this one into the corner. Ecman Larson back. He’s going to play this one around. Florida cycling it behind the net. Behind to Chuck pushed up against the boards. Bennett curling. Has it knocked off his stick trying to regroup. He does. Getting it back to Kachchuck. He walks around dropping this one off. Florida coming back to the point. Cats are setting it up. A long shot. Wall. Didn’t know where it is. Still doesn’t know where it is. Now Toronto Benwa going to play it up the boards. Long pass. Pateretti to McMahon. McMahon turning around. He tries to swing it over to Doy. Can’t do it. Florida going to take it away and give it to Verhagy. Panthers coming into the Leaf zone. Toronto trying to push him into the boards. Nice hit there by Yarnrock. Here’s a big hit on Tanv. Florida side of the net. Going to put it just wide. Back around Florida. Mikola pinching up. Toronto going to steal. Going to chip this one over around. He’s rushing up. Toronto over the line. Dropping it back for Tanf. Tanf shooting. Oh, that goes just wide. Back to Lorent. He going to keep it in temporarily. Lorent again down low to Yarn Croc. Yarnrock cycling it in the slot. Can’t get it there. Lorent just couldn’t get it for a man with a long reach. Couldn’t find it. And this is going to be an ice against the Florida Panthers. That was the best shift by Toronto by this fourth line. They really came in there strong. Real real strong. Unbelievable. This is crazy. 0 is the score. 0 is the score. Multi, how’s it going? Welcome in. Art Rayman, what’s up? Let’s go. Time to get it done. If you are, as you are coming in, keep that thumbs up going. Hit that subscribe for us. Feeling froggy. What’s shaking? Can’t do it twice. Bennett going to move over the red line. Greer is with him. Bennett coming over. He’s going to try and play it into the corner. Toronto put picking this one up. Riley keeping it away from Greer. Boquist takes it away from Marner. Bow playing it around those boards. Ecman Larson stepping in front of his man. There you go. That’s how you do it. Over to Matthews. Matthews to N. Nice can’t get around Eblad. And Eklad going to back this one up. Why does it seem like Toronto has such a hard time taking the puck away from Florida, but yet Florida takes it away from Toronto with ease? Froggy VR, what’s going on? Jane, how’s it going? Let’s Leaf in the Stanley Cup sit in front of a wood stove. Oh, wow. Jane, that that must have been amazing. Such a good moment. Tvaris going to play it up. Here comes Homerg. Homer turning the corner. Shot going to get knocked down. Tvaris picking this one back up. Playing it over. McCabe can’t get there. Tanv he is. as he’s going to send it back over to Mabe. Mabe putting it to Knander. He’s not in a shooting position. Knander shaking away. Tvaris getting to that faceoff dot. Knander going back the other way. Knander behind the net trying to come out. Bowski swinging that stick. Nander still with it. Swing it over to Tanv. Tanv shoots. Oh, that goes just wide. Tavvaris going to jump in and pick it up. He tries to put it to the point. It’s blocked. Goes behind the net. Homeberg can’t get in there. Can’t cut up. Here comes Florida off the boards and it’s going to be grabbed here by Carlo. Leaf’s going to turn around again. A good start in this period for Toronto, but they haven’t been able to get one registered on net. Everything is getting blocked. Kulakov playing it around the corner. Going to work this one up. Here comes Florida again over the red line and into the Leaf zone. Wall going to make a nice save. Noah’s Arc in the house. What’s going on? This over. McMahon has it. Kulakov going to put him into the boards. Carlo on the other side. Hey Luke, what’s going on? This going to be played up. Toronto tipping it in deep in the corner. Hoboski has to go back for it. Maron going to play this one back. Schmidt with it. Hanging on. He’s looking. Now he’s going to work up. Five minutes gone in this third period. Florida. Bennett flying down the near side with speed into the zone. Passing it off to Verhiggy. Verhiggy putting it around behind the boards. Florida keeping this one in side of the net. Ecman Larson going to take this one away. Here’s a long flip pass all the way down. Oh, there’s a haul down. Come on, ref. A nice breakaway feed. Toronto gets hauled down. No call over the line. Florida. There’s a big shot block. Benwis with a nice job. Panthers still have the puck putting this one down. Kachchuck trying to come up with it. He cycles it across. Watch the man going back door. It’s Bennett around behind the net. Tanv is going to cut that one off. He plays it up. Kachchuck up on him. Toronto going to get this to the line and they can’t get it out. The referee says no, it’s still in. Mikola throwing it towards the net. Nice save. Bennett is down. Bumps wall back over on the far side. Florida cycling it around. Toronto chasing another shot and that one goes just wide. Florida holding it in again. Back around at the side. 35 seconds of puck possession time for Hegy centering at Toronto going to steal. They’re going to flip this one down the ice and desperately need to go get a change. Holy smokes. Wow. Forsling going to hang on to this one. Chuck, what’s going on, Paul? How’s it going? This is playoff hockey. Down over the line, Matthews with a shot. Scores. Austin Matthews. Welcome to the playoffs. Holy smokes. Austin Matthews finds the back of the net. And it’s about time. Holy smokes. Crack them open if you got them. Chug those down. Austin Matthews has opened the scoring. One nothing shot from the faceoff circle. Wow. He takes his pass, pulls the trigger past Forsling, uses him as a little bit of a screen. There we go. [Music] There we go. I woke you up while you sleeping. We got one of the biggest hockey games of the year going on. Let’s go. Holy. One- nothing Maple Leafs. Let’s do it. Let’s keep her going. Let that goal go right to your legs. Faroff spinning around in the corner. Matthews going to move this one around. Mary, how’s it going? His third goal of the playoffs. Woo! Carlo in the corner. Mitchie Martner picking up the assist there. Panthers trying to work this through. Carlo and Riley both behind the net. Barkoff comes away with the puck. See that can happen. Florida a long shot. That goes wide. Coming out going to play this one up. Toronto to the line. Digging it out and getting this one down. Big battle here. Mikola trying to get it. Homerg trying to get it. Mikola takes it away. Playing it back. Look out. Florida again. Almost too many men on the ice. Let’s go. Right ship. I’m sure this one over the line. Right back in. Wall coming out to play it off the glass. Florida going to pinch. It’s coming to the line. It’s out. Florida going to back this one up. 1240 to go. Toronto keep pressing. You can’t sit back and get defensive now. Lendell with a shot. Marshon tips it and that goes just wide. An accidental tip. Almost went in. Benwis thinks he’s Gretzky. Deaks around three guys. puts this one over to Tavvaris. Tavvaris in the middle shoots. Great blocker save on Babaroski. A shot from the point. That one’s going to get knocked down. And Tanv is going to race back and pick this one up. Holy smokes. Let’s go. Turning around and this going to be sent all the way down the ice. No icing call. Doy coming in after it. Doy ties up ELAD. Bennett, he can’t get there. Florida moving it to the near side. Sending it up the ice. Sticks are tied up. Bobby Mack can’t get it. Tanv with a backhand pass across. Stomp with the backhanded passes. Leaf’s going to get to the line and chip it in. Bobby Mack going in the corner. He collides. Gets it to Doy. Doi walking right in. Oh, big collision in front of the net. Doi gets taken down. The Florida Panther player came up and his skate hit the mask of Baroski. Doi is in some serious discomfort. Huge collision in front of the net. Doiy’s in in on all fours. Barovski, holy smokes, that was dangerous. is the feet of the player came right up into the mask of of Barovski. At least that’s what it looked like. Serious serious collision. And I think Baroski as he went backwards might have hit his head on the the iron of the post. So let’s kind of see the replay here. So I think it was Bennett that actually ran into his own goalender. Doi was down. Bennett came flying in to destroy Doy on all fours and ended up taking out his own goalender. Holy smokes. But do great play walking out of the corner. It is now 1-0 Toronto. One- nothing Toronto. 11:49 to go in period number three. Austin Matthews, your goal scorer, his third from Mitchell Marner. Thank you everybody for helping us out and joining us along for a wild, wild ride. So much fun. This is playoff hockey. We are down to 1149. If you’re Toronto Maple Leafs, you got to just break this up. essentially 12 minutes. You got two six minutee halves. You got to go strong for six minutes, then switch it over and you got your second six minutes. Break it down one shift at a time, right? You’re essentially six minutes. So, what is that? You got four lines. It’s two shifts. Two shifts for each line, give or take, however they break it down. They got to look at this and just not overthink about it. Play their style of hockey and just keep this one going. Matthews nine points in 13 career games when facing elimination. Brenda, I wish. Could you imagine? Go Leafs. 1149 to go. Faceoff in the Florida zone. Toronto started off doing well in the faceoffs. They’ve come down a little bit. This one is a scramble. Florida’s going to take it away. This one is coming back the other way. Toronto putting it right back down. Jones is going to play it up and Toronto going to chase this one down. This should be a night. No, Waller comes out to play it. Wall going to play it up to Carlo. A little miscommunication there. Long pass up to NY. Nice to Matthews. Matthews bobbled it. This being sent in. Matthews having a battle at the blue line. Jones going to send this around. Matthews tried to cut it off. Backhanded pass. Here comes the Panthers with speed. Barkoff going to the net. Pass comes across just too far away. Going for that back door play for Barkoff. And we got a penalty. Let’s go. It’s going to be a hook and it’s going against Toronto. Shocker. Shocker. You got front row. There you go, Brenda. There you go. So, another penalty here. Oh, it’s going to go to Carlo. Two minutes for hooking. So, Carlo gets caught. Barov with speed comes up. So, one hand, he’s reaching out. Barkov kind of takes the stick in his waist and uh and Carlo’s going to get called for hooking. So when the same play was done on Mitch Mner in the first period, it wasn’t a penalty. But now now it’s a penalty. So listen, it’s a it is a legit penalty. It is a legit penalty, but if you don’t call it in the first, how can you call it in the third? So one- nothing. Another penalty Panthers to the power play off the draw. Toronto wins this one. But Florida’s doing the exact same thing. They got one or two guys floating around the Leafs blue line. Here comes Florida. Threeon two. Doi coming back. Shot rebound. Great job by Doi. All right, we are good to go. Can you try to get the time let’s go to pass quicker? Richard, let let me see what I can do. Let me uh let me call down to the uh the penalty box to the timekeeper and say, “Hey, can you can you put that time on uh on 1.5 speed, please?” It’s like doing your training when you got work training to do, right? And you have those webinars, you just kind of increase the speed. Just kidding. If my boss is watching, I never do. Airlifting it all the way down. Carlo turning. He’s going to play it back to the neutral zone. NY getting put in the boards. He comes away with it. Sending this one over to Riley. Riley hitting the red line. Dumping this one in. down around going to come free. Toronto trying to walk through. Nice little move there. Matthews there. Lorent, he gets tripped up. Matthews still with it. Kicking this one out. It’s taken away. Four Florida Panthers on Austin Matthews putting this up to Marian. Marian flipping in the middle. Marshy back coming across in front. Carlo going to break that one up. Matthews again. He’s going to flip it to the line. That’s going to be grabbed by Lester Rinan, but they’re going to say hand pass. So Lester Rinan having a little argument there with the linesman. And the other linesman comes over, kind of gives him a little pat on the backside and says, “Hey, hey, hey, cool your jets.” So, Matthews trying to flip this one out, trying to get this one going. Florida playing this one up. Toronto going to steal. They’re going to clear this one down. But again, Matthews had it in the corner. It was a blind backhanded pass and he gave it away again. Wow. You can’t do this. Austin Matthews, did you not learn your lesson? Played it right on the stick of the Florida Panther player, which led to a scoring opportunity. Uncle Big Bad, what’s going on? This to the line for Hegy walking out of the corner. Tanv keeping the puck in the corner. Back over Barky with it. Barkov sending it around the net all the way to the point on the far side. 150 to go. 150. Here’s a shot right on and wall with a nice save. He’s going to hang on there. Jaylen, thank you for hitting that subscribe. Everybody, thank you so much for the follows, for the subs. Appreciate you. Let’s go. Holy smokes. This is hockey. Hockey at its best. We will be here. Everybody’s slowing things down. What an unbelievable night of hockey. We saw some great hockey last night. We’ve seen some great hockey the last couple nights. The Oilers got it done. Then it was the Jets fighting back, extending their series. The Jets are staying alive. Of course, Carolina eliminating Washington made me very happy. Some really, really good hockey. Thank you everybody. Keep those subscribes going. I appreciate it. Cottaging, I don’t know yet. I won’t know till about midday tomorrow. All right, Nicola, how’s it going? Go Leafs go. So, we got to face off. Toronto wins one in their own zone. behind the net to Tanv. Tanv going to play it up to Mner. Marner getting pinned along the boards. Back to Tanv. Over to Mabe. McCabe back to Tanv. He’s going to put this one up. It comes to the line. Held in. Nice job by the Panthers. And they’re going to say no. They’re going to say this one came out and Seth Jones is kind of shaking his head. Way different game. Way different game. So I thought this one was in. Jones clearly thought it was in. The linesman said, “Nope, that one came out.” We got 134 to go. Let’s go. 10 subs away from 175. Smash that subscribe for us. This coming back around trying to get this one through. Trying to work this one in. Comes out in front. Here’s a shot blocked in front. This coming to the line. Back around and cross. Here’s a shot by Bennett. Another stop. They play it back to the line. 115 to go. This is going to come out. This is going to come out and down the ice. Holy smokes. Let’s go this back down. Florida backhand tip right on wall with a stop. This across to Bennett. Bennett walking to the corner. Sending it. This going to be tipped down. Last minute. Last minute of play. Go Leafs go. Go Leafs go. Panthers going to play this one up. Down around in the corner. Carlo, he’s going to pick it up. Trying to freeze it here in the corner. 45 seconds to go. Digging for it. Marshan putting this one across. Jones in the middle of the ice. A shot. It’s blocked. Comes right to Verhigi. He shoots. That one’s knocked down. Big rebound. Mner doesn’t know where it is. He is looking around. Another shot. Another block. This time it’s Matthews. Mner, stop looking at the clock. Get in the play on the sideboards. They play it in front. Wall is down. This is cleared aside. Picked up by Mner. He is going to flip it out over the head. And Toronto Homeberg. He’s going to put it down the ice. Lot of empty seats in Panther Land. 16 seconds to go. Marawn putting it in the middle. Toronto gets it back to the line. 12 seconds to go. It’s blocked. Homeberg going to hang on to it. He’s going to send this one down. 5 seconds to go. 4 3 2 1. And just like Boarovski did, Joseph Wall shuts out the Florida Panthers. And Makachuck with a fist and he’s throwing punches. He punches Wall. He punches Ben Wis. Here they come. Everybody coming in. Machuck, Brad Marshawn, you dirty sons of guns. Brad Brad Marshawn and Mkachchuck. Mkachchuck came with a glove right to the face of Joseph Wall at the buzzer. Joseph Wall picks up his first playoff shutout just like Bolari did a couple of games ago. We are going to game seven, ladies and gentlemen. We are going to game seven. What a hockey game. This was absolutely incredible. and an amazing game seven set up for Sunday. First league goalie to record a shut out when facing elimination since Curtis Joseph back in 2002. Two nothing the final game ahead. Chris look forward to hearing you Sunday night. You Craig and Kyle come on home. We’ll have to refreshing. One of the many miracles. Let’s go. Thank you for that. I don’t know why it did that. Um, sometimes the mic does that. Let me go over this again. Uh, 21 hits for Florida, 17 for Toronto in terms of shots on net, 57 hits for the Florida Panthers. That was absolutely massive. 57 hits. That was incredible. Rich, thank you so much. Hillary said yes to marry you. There you go, Rich. Getting married, engaged. There you go, Rich. 57 hits, 34 for Toronto. Here’s Austin Matthews. Let’s let’s hear what he has to say. Just a gutsy gutsy win all around. I thought, you know, we just battled hard all three periods. It took till, you know, midway through the third to to break through, but I just thought, you know, all throughout our our lineup, uh, everybody played hard, everybody competed. That’s true. Everyone played hard. Um, you know, big win. You had to be patient for it. What did you like most about how you handled the third? I just thought we played with good structure. We didn’t uh force things. We, you know, played simple. Uh, I thought we skated hard, skated well, forch checked well. Um, you know, able to break through late and just played solid defense there to close it out. you said this morning it’s on you to capitalize on your chances. What were the feeling after seeing that one go in? Feels good. Uh always feels good. Um but you know just to get that win. Um you know feels great. Obviously uh the job’s not done yet. It’s uh you know like I said it’s a gutsy win to keep our season alive but um you know we got one more job to finish. There you go. One more to do. One more to finish. And it is going to be a huge finish. They are going to have to absolute press. Uh all right. 31 block shots. That’s absolutely amazing. They got in there. They did a phenomenal job. They’re your three stars tonight. Pataretti, Joseph Wall, and Austin Matthews, your three stars tonight. I think Joseph Wall should have been star number one personally, but Matthews and Patretti each picking up some goals. Toronto shuts out the Florida Panthers. And Vi, if you’re still here, you said under two. Well, you ended up at two. So, um I was it 2.5? It was under 2.5. Well, you got that one right. Absolutely amazing. Amy, how’s it going? Welcome in. This game was absolutely incredible. Absolutely incredible. This This had everything. It had absolutely everything. A hard-fought battle by Toronto. They They were patient when they needed to be. They pushed the tempo when they needed to be. They came through and they did an unbelievable job. This is what playoff hockey is all about. Now we go to game seven. Game seven is an absolute tossup. It’s an absolute tossup. By the way, Toronto this season has never lost four games in a row. They’ve lost three in a row a bunch of times. Have not lost four in a row, and it wasn’t going to happen. Now, so this this was absolutely huge. Absolutely a monster monster win. They need to now regroup. I know they put it all out there. I know they put it all out there on the line. Oh, don’t worry, Road Warrior Warriors. They will be quiet tonight. They’ll be quiet tomorrow. They’re all going to show up on Sunday. Don’t worry about it. I think at this point, fans, I think we can say regardless of whatever happens in game seven. If the Leafs lose, they didn’t choke. If the Leafs lose, they didn’t suck. They didn’t choke. They didn’t collapse. This is playoff hockey. They’re playing the defending Stanley Cup champions. They’re playing one heck of a hockey team. If they lose in game seven, it is to a team that is equally as good as them. Yes, they jumped up with a two nothing lead. They fought themselves back. The Panthers did what they had to do. This was an absolutely incredible game. They got scoring where they needed it. They got goalending where they needed it on Sunday. Home ice advantage. Last change. If they put up an effort like this, they will get the job done. Now, Florida’s going to continue to come out and hit. They’re gonna kind of come out and try and dominate. They have to keep things in control. Keep your emotions in check. You know, the referee is going to look to call everything. They’re going to look to call everything. They cannot allow it to happen. They have to play smart hockey, right? Smart hockey is the way they go through to get this one done. I firmly believe I firmly believe that they can certain they can do this right. They play their game, they get their changes, their matchups, they drive uh their style of gameplay, they can win. Now, if they come out and they take four penalties to start the game and they give up three goals in the first period, no, they’re going to be in trouble. They’re not going to be able to fight back from that. But this will be an absolute doozy. And this was an amazing effort. It It was an amazing effort. And again, Florida is not a pushover team. They are not a pushover team. Frozen, how’s it going? Toronto wins. Toronto wins two nothing. Uh thank you, Special K. I appreciate you so much. Sunday is going to be awesome. Sunday is going to be phenomenal. And my question is, are you It’s 7:30. So 7:30 start. So, we’ll look to go live around 7 o’clock. I’ll get that I’ll get that game scheduled uh probably tomorrow at some point. Uh so, be on the lookout for it. Are you gonna go? No, we don’t know yet. Okay. So, we’ll have to see. We’ll have to see. We might have an insider. Uh Todd, it’s crazy. All I can say is holy cow. Yeah, this this was incredible. And you know what moments, right? We had Austin Matthews who takes the stick to the face, stick to the eye, no call, goes to the locker room, comes back and then he gets called for high sticking eblad. It is absolutely amazing. Uh so Jeremy again, refs, I don’t think the refs were as bad tonight as they have been, but I think there were some really bad moments. The Austin Matthews high stick, how is that not called? That one is atrocious. with a high stick. The linesman can can they can’t call it, but they can have a conference with the referee and say, “Hey, he got clipped with a high stick.” We see that all the time. The four of them come together and they talk about it. Why there was no penalty call there. I don’t understand. Um, you know, the play earlier in the game, Mitch Mner was going in, he essentially had Eblad’s stick across his chest like this with Eblad holding both sides. It was like he was kind of strapped to a chair. No call there. But yet when Florida was breaking in and Ecman Larson had one hand on the stick um kind of under the arm of Bararkov, he got called there. You know, there were some bad calls and they went both ways, right? There were some where we should have seen something uh called uh Jamie Ben F. See, and this is the problem. Uh thank you Brandon for putting that in. Jamie Ben, if you saw it last night, sucker punched Shifley in the face. Um came right across. Boom. Dropped him like he’s hot. Uh and he got a $5,000 fine. That’s it. No suspension. That a a sucker punch to the face should be a multi-game suspension. The cross checks to the face that we’re seeing should be multi-game suspensions. Elbows to the head should be multi-game suspensions. Should that have been Nazam Cadri or Michael Bunting on Toronto, they would have been gone for five plus games like they were in the past. Player safety is a joke. But hey, Marcel, how’s it going? Um, right now, how teams are playing, they’re playing based on what the referees are calling. If they’re not going to suspend them for cross-checking someone or elbowing someone to the head, let’s go. Stick to the eye of Austin Matthews. woke him up. Froze, right? Cuz when he came back that very next shift, he had some big opportunities. He he knocked it out of the air, took a his first shot that hit the net, did a really good job. I love pulling out the mini stick. That’s why it’s here. Um, but it’s it’s absolutely absolutely crazy how these teams play. Ben, yeah, the 5K on the sucker punch is nuts. Nobody deserves a cup more than Chris Tan. So, I will tell you, Chris Tanv, holy smokes. I mean, I give this guy ton of respect. He’s being hit the most. He’s blocking a ton. Seven block shots tonight for Chris Tanv. Four for Benois, four for Ecman Larson, three for McCabe, three for Riley. I thought Riley had a good game tonight. I thought Riley had a good game. You know why Morgan Riley had a good game? Does anybody know what Sam has been saying for the last two months about Morgan Riley? Anybody? Joshua. Yes. Joshua, let’s go. This is what I’ve been saying about Morgan Riley. When Morgan Riley plays top defensive minutes, he struggles. Last game when he played top defense, you know, in the top two defensive minutes, he struggles. He turns it over. He plays really poorly. You know where Morgan Riley finished tonight in terms of minutes played? Dead last. Benois played 20 minutes. McCabe 1943, Tan of 1932, Carlo 1913, Ecman Larson 1855, Morgan Riley 1835. 32 shifts for Maban Tanv, 27 shifts for Carlo, 29 shifts for Larson. Benois, 26 shifts. Morgan Riley, 26 shifts. He played less shifts than everyone and had the least amount of minutes. Simone Benois usually has the least amount of minutes. Today he had the most amount of minutes. So this theory stands correct. Morgan Riley needs to play middle to bottom tier minutes and he will have a decent game. Still made a couple mistakes but he played really really well um in what he did. He had three blocks, three hits. No giveaways tonight for Morgan Riley. You come off a game where you have four or five giveaways. No giveaways today. No giveaways today. He even had a takeaway. When we talk about some of these tough spots for the Maple Leafs, two blocks for Marner, two for Patretti, two for Tavvaris, Lorent, Lton, Homeberg, Matthews, all with a block shot. In terms of hits, six hits for Lorent, five for Lton, three for Patre, two hits for Marner, two for Yarn Croc, two for Homerg, two for McMahon, two hits for Nelander, one for N, one for Matthews, one for Tavaris. In fact, the only Maple Leaf player who did not have a hit today is Max Doi. Max Doi does not have a registered hit, which to me that sounds weird. Are we seeing coaching Sam, right, Brenda? No, because I would have pulled Patch ready long ago and and he he got us that insurance goal. So, um, you know, in terms of lead forwards, Mner 2120 ice time, Matthews at 18 minutes, Homeberg at 1640, Tavvaris at 1624, Nelander at 1543, Lton at 1537. I thought Lton had a great game tonight. I thought Lton had a very strong game tonight. One of the best games we’ve seen Lton play in a long time. So, really, really good to see. Bennett should be suspended for game seven. Yeah, listen, everyone’s going to be in that lineup. It’s going to be absolutely crazy. Doi was was amazing. Listen, Doi had that back check. Doi had that back check where he essentially saved a goal. Huge defensive effort from Doi tonight. Doi was flying at both ends of the ice. Uh Doi had a very strong game tonight, you know, and that we love to see that from him. By the way, Doi did not get a penalty tonight either, which is a bonus. which is a bonus. Um, but I thought that third line of Doy, Patcheri, and Homeberg I thought played a great game. They played a decent game. Fourth line had another good game. You know, no complaints about the fourth line. Everyone was rolling. Everyone was rolling. And uh this this is what we needed to see. We needed this kind of effort. So hopefully they’ll I don’t know if they’re going to fly home tonight or tomorrow, but hopefully they’ll they’ll get home. They’ll rest up, you know, they’ll be set to go. It’s It’s going to be a barn burner on Sunday. It’s going to be a hard hard-hitting game. And uh I very much look forward to it. It’s anybody’s game. It’s anybody’s game. I I don’t care what all the professional um media outlets or all the ex NHL players who, you know, were were, you know, subpar NHL players who think they know everything about the game of hockey all of a sudden know, you know, how to predict the world. Um I don’t care what anybody says, it’s a tossup. It’s an absolutely tossup hockey game. If Toronto comes out with an effort like today, they play their style of hockey, they can win. If they’re going to let Florida bang and crash them around, they’re going to be in trouble. Florida dominated the offensive zone time. Toronto let Florida have way too many moments where they could attack. And I think that’s where Toronto needs to focus a little bit stronger in their defensive end. Again, clean up their board play. Uh it wasn’t perfect tonight, but they got enough done. They got enough done and this this was a great hockey game. Alexander, it was two nothing. Two nothing Maple Leafs. They pulled out the win. So, it was huge. Um, so whatever happens on Sunday, whoever’s going to the game now, I know tickets are going to be a fortune. Tickets are going to be a fortune. Please, for the love of the hockey gods, if you are going to the game, make some noise. Make some noise. Be loud. Support our team. Game sevens are a special thing. a very very special thing. You do not get to see a lot of game sevens. I’ve gone to a lot of games over my years and I’ve only been to a handful of game sevens and uh I think only once, maybe twice did I see the Leafs win in a game seven. To see that handshake in person is amazing. Win or lose, to see that handshake is a special special moment. A chance to pay your respects to each team, the one moving forward and the one going home. So, if you are going, please be loud and make some noise. I will also say if you are going, whether you’re going inside the stadium, whether you’re going down to celebrate outside the stadium or hang around the streets, please be safe. And if we win and move on, don’t be stupid. Don’t be climbing light posts and climbing buses and trying to light things on fire and tear down street signs. Don’t give the city a bad name. Be smart. Be safe. Have fun. It’s going to be absolutely amazing. Um Todd, I have no idea. I I bet you the cheapest ticket is probably going to be 400 bucks or so, I would guess. I think in in the in round one, I think they were 300, 250, 300 for the cheapest ticket. Um so they’re they’re going to be higher than that. Joshua says 500. So yeah, going to be about 500 bucks a ticket and up, right? So it’s going to be a lot of money there. Um but it’s it’s going to be a lot of fun. And uh if they can just do like this, just do like this. Do the do, do the do, and we’ll get it done. We will get it done. So, tomorrow is going to be just a chill day. We’ll see. We’ll see if we can hop on and do the uh do the Jets game later in the evening. Depends on how a couple of things how they may fall. Uh so, we’re going to see and see what goes there. Uh and then maybe we’ll see tomorrow night. But if we don’t see you tomorrow night, we will 100 be here on Sunday night. Again, it’s a 7:30 game time. We will be here probably 7:00, 7:10. Uh it’s going to be a lot of fun. Hopefully we see you tomorrow night, but if things don’t work out that way, we’ll see you on Sunday for sure. Uh thank you, Jangy. Yeah, this Listen, this has been a lot of fun. I know sometimes we get a little crazy. Prep coming in. Don’t tell me not to dance naked in the street. Um, I prep you do you. And we’ll leave it at that. You do you. Oh my goodness. Only prep. I love it. I love it. That’s right. And if they win, if they do win, if you decide to celebrate by going streaking, please uh please think twice about it. Make sure you take your loin cloths with you. Uh, seriously, dejected Rangers fan. Go leave Sagittarius. Welcome in. Let’s say it was a fun game. This was a fun game. Stressful. Stressful, but you know, the heart rate didn’t get up as high as it has been. Okay, maybe it got up there a little bit, but it’s also really hot in here. Come dancing. That’s how they did it when I was a kid. When Sam said, “Come dancing, you know.” Yeah, listen. Come dance. Dancing and dancing in the streets. Yeah. I mean, that’s what it’s all about, right? Please streak responsibly, Dallas. That’s amazing. That’s amazing. Uh, Toronto Mika Leafs, there you go with the big yes. Listen, this is what it’s all about. Playoffs are emotional. Playoffs are intense, but it’s a celebration of the game we love. And win or lose, we owe it. We owe it to the players that go out on this ice. Even though they’re getting millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars, most of them probably don’t deserve as much as they’re getting. We have to respect what they do and if they lose, I will stand up and applaud a hard-fought battle. They’re going to game seven in the second round. When was the last time we’ve seen game seven in the second round of the playoffs? Um, it’s been a long time. It’s been a very long time. So, I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself because we we know we know how tough Florida is. If streaking out of your loin cloth in your pockets, oh boy. Oh, boy. Kathleen. Um, my goodness, it’s going to be a big party downtown. The game is going on. It’s going to be loud. It’s going to be a great atmosphere. Rick, Leafs versus Oilers would be phenomenal. Would be phen that that’s the dream matchup. If you’re a Canadian sports fan and you’re a hockey fan, that I think is the dream matchup because after all, you’re my Joseph. Well, I love it. I love it. Uh, Sanji, how’s it going? Welcome in. Chay, how’s it going? Amen to the Leafs. Yeah, they they they played so good. So good tonight. Now, it wasn’t a perfect game. Let’s let’s not forget, right? It wasn’t a perfect game by any means, but they certainly did what they needed to do. And and Armor, I’m I’m so glad you put that in. Thank you. The talk since game two was Joseph Wall is not good enough. We need Anthony Stellars. Uh Janette, how’s it going? You missed a heck of a hockey game. two nothing Toronto forcing a game seven. Um, listen, Anthony Stellar is sharp. He is a a great goalender, a great goalender, but Joseph Wall is a very good goalender as well. And like we said in the last couple of games, they were not Joseph Wall’s fault. Yes, he let in a bad goal or two, but he had no help in front of him. No help. Tonight, he had help. We saw Doy with that back check. Matthews getting back with some defensive plays when they were trying to go back door. Leafs were lifting the Panthers sticks so they couldn’t complete those passes. They played a much better defensive game in their own end. Still a couple giveaways that I didn’t like. Big hits. Benis stepped up crunching Brad Marian. I mean that was a moment that was huge. There were some really good things that happened in the defensive zone. They let Florida have a long time in that defense in that zone and they were able to kind of shut them down and and take care of business. And when they do that and they allow Walt to see the puck, he makes some saves. We didn’t see Panthers crashing the net all the time. We didn’t see Panthers standing in front of him all the time. Leafs wouldn’t allow them in there. So really, really, really solid, solid game, allaround game. Very happy this USA fully support bringing the cup back to Canada. Would love to see it. Would love to see it. You know, so Joseph Wall, he’s gonna be your starter for game seven. No doubt. No doubt. Leafs were able to absorb. They were able to absorb Paul and they have to be able to do that. Wall’s going to be your starter for the next game. He’s going to be there for sure. They got to keep playing like this. They got to keep putting the puck around the boards. They got to win the board battles like they did again. Very strong faceoff. Very strong faceoff. Leafs in seven. There you go. Viral dances. Absolutely. They were 61.4%. Leafs are the best faceoff team in the playoffs, by the way. 61.4% tonight. It was great. Juliet, my husband is finally happy. Juliet, that’s hysterical. Um, listen, it’s tough. A lot of us have been Leaf fans for a very long time, a number of years, and we look forward to this. Look forward to hearing Matthew and Brian. Let’s go. Oh, Sam. Sam, Sagittarius, thank you for that subscribe, by the way. Appreciate it. Um, listen, whatever happens, whatever happens, you know, like I said, I’ll be the first one there to congratulate both teams. It takes That’s why we play a best of seven. It takes four wins to get there. Toronto jumped up two. Florida jumped up two. They won that third one. Toronto won game six. It’s back and forth. This is what it’s all about. You know, Florida has such a strong team, as does, you know, these Maple Leafs. And, you know, they lost their way a little bit, but everybody loses their way a little bit. I believe it was uh in uh in Billy Madison, the story about the pup who lost his way, right? The pup who lost his way. Sometimes you just have to get off that porch and go find the dog. You know what I mean? If you’ve seen Billy Madison, you know exactly what I mean. You find your way, you get back on there. You fall off the horse, you find that horse, and you get back on there. And that’s what the Leafs did today. The Leafs got in there, they fought hard, they battled, they did an absolutely phenomenal job. Well, I think that’s a that’s a wrap on tonight. I mean, this this was an amazing night. I’m super pumped up with how they did. Um, I’m excited. I was born and raised in Toronto and have the best fans ever. Juliet, I agree. We do have some of the best fans ever. We also have a lot of fans who like to take things a little too far. Um, so that’s why I say when you’re out celebrating, when you’re enjoying the games, be responsible, be respectful, and just just don’t be an idiot. Right? Plain and simple. That’s what it comes down to. All right, we’re going to tie it up. What time is it? I don’t even know. Oh, it’s almost 11 o’clock. I’m hungry after that. I need to eat. Thank you so much mods. Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for the amazing job you do comment. Thank you Kathleen. I appreciate that very very much. Um thank you again to all the mods for for everything. Uh great night. Thank you for all the super chats. Um thank you Prep. Thank you Rich. A you Triton. Save it for next time because I will we’ll talk about food, but I want to know if Kathleen’s cookies were were good. What are you eating tonight? I had What did I have? What did we have for dinner?
