  1. They were who we thought they were, and that’s why we took the damn field.

  2. Is what Will doing sustainable? No. He will regress, that’s the reality. But what you should be super impressed with is coachability. This is second time he’s come back from a horrible slump after working with coaches to correct his approach at the plate and deliver in a big way.

  3. Benson had 7 of the Reds’ 12 RBI in this series, absolutely monstrous performance.

  4. Benson should get to take that cup home like the Stanley Cup, and slam a few steveweisers out of that thing.

  5. Imagine getting swept by a team that almost just got swept by the white sox

  6. More fun to think about: Skenes pitched today so we will miss him this week.

  7. nobody better make a “we’re at .500!” post. I will find you and slap you.

  8. #And this series belongs to the Reds

What a recovery. This team needed to show some signs of life this series and managed to exceed expectations.

  9. Willy fucking benson. Man I hope he can keep it rolling. He’d be an absolute superstar in Cincinnati and mlb if he realizes his potential.

  10. Tito with a legendary post game presser, talking about his guys big balls.

    My king.

  11. Baseball is funny how (the perception of) a team can completely change in less than a week.

  12. I was told that if the Reds swept Cleveland the Reds wouldn’t play the sax song anymore.

  13. I haven’t seen a Cleveland sports team get smacked down this hard in a series since last week.

  14. Wish Tito gave out game/series ball like Taylor and the Bengals. Baseball is obv different but would be cool to see

Might not be feasible the more I think about it but a fun idea

  15. Benson clearly has Votto stashed down the tunnel. And Joey stays there to let Will have the glory
