Is there a world in which Austin Mathews is available for trade now?
Not saying all of these players but I assume the Wild could be interested in trading combinations of Rossi, Wallstedt, Lambos, Spacek, and draft picks
Florida became Florida by scoping up Reinhart when Buffalo gave up early, and scoping Bennet from Calgary when they gave up on him early. And the Wild are about to do the same thing with Rossi… giving him away early and a good team will get him. The Wild NEED to be getting the young guys other teams are giving up on early. The Wild COULD have had Reinhart for a 1st and a prospect, the Wild COULD have had Bennet for a 2nd rounder…. but our GM was "too smart" for that. All these trades for Rossi are dumb and not realistic. Sorry… they just aren't. The Wild will get the worse player/deal back in a trade of Rossi, which is why you don't do it. And the Wild (and ANY fan) that thinks Eek is a 1C has lost their mind. Eek had 3 pts in the series playing with Kap. Rossi has 3 pts in the series playing with two knuckle-draggers.
